Excellent experience! We highly recommend! In our opinion, worth to pay more to get #12 max. in the balloon, not too crowded, smaller balloon (meaning easier to take off) and yet affordable. If you’re a big enough group, try a private one. Yousef was very knowledgeable and made an incredible time for us - thank you so much!

Your booking was indeed for a small group of 12 people, and we ensured that you flew in a balloon dedicated to 12 guests only — as promised. Initially, due to windy conditions that morning, our team considered an alternative balloon with a slightly larger basket for safety reasons, which is always our top priority. However, after you expressed a preference to remain in the smaller basket, we respected your request and proceeded accordingly — maintaining the 12-person group exactly as booked. We understand that you felt safe during your ride, and we’re grateful for that. Please know that we take extensive planning and strict safety measures before each and every flight. There are many days where we cancel for more than 50 people if we feel the conditions are not ideal — even if that means loss on our side. We never wait until weather becomes an issue mid-process; instead, we take proactive measures from the start, unlike some other operators who only react after the fact. This level of caution is a core part of our commitment to guest safety. We understand the importance of value and expectations, and we want to emphasize that the price reflects not only the intimate group size but also the high safety standards, experienced local pilots, quality transportation, full traditional breakfast, and personalized care we provide. The best experience in Marrakech! The balloon ride was incredible, very safe and well-planned. They have their camp, it's a locally owned business, and the small group setting is the best choice if you do not want to feel like part of a crowd. The ride itself was a bit over one hour and we flew at multiple heights and felt connected with nature and the magnificence of this place, having ample time to enjoy and also take plenty of pictures. Youssef and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Look no more! This is the best choice you can make :)

It was an amazing experience! At first my daughter and I were a bit nervous but our pilot was great in explaining what to expect and put us at ease for a smooth ride, which it was. We were welcomed with tea/coffee and pastry then took flight. Saw the most amazing sunrise at a pretty high altitude. Our balloon had only 8 of us and we were up there for a good 50 minutes, unlike other companies we saw which did less time up and at low altitude. It was my daughter’s 30th birthday which we mentioned during flight with the group. On our way back to the campsite unbeknownst to us the host called his staff and upon arrival a beautiful decoration was done for her with happy birthday signs and all. A super great Moroccan breakfast was served with everything looking and tasting fresh. I would recommend this company a hundred times. The owner/pilot and his crew are very well organized, friendly and welcoming. It was a GREAT experience. When in Marrakech and want the best balloon ride go with this company. You will not regret it. It’s worth the money. Thank you Marrakech Balloon Experience for a great and memorable experience.

Fantastic experience Well worth getting up at 5.30 in the morning Youseff was so friendly and humble made everyone welcome and at ease especially those that were nervous including me. There was 8 of us in the basket perfect view for all of us even the couple of shorter ones of us. Sunrise was beautiful we were up in the air just as it was breaking so perfect timing for photos. So smooth so clear and so perfect. Finished off with breakfast in the desert in the traditional way on pouffes.

Ballooning is not to be missed. It is a kind of magical experience, and Youseff and his team ensure you discover the magic. I wish I could give this adventure 10+ stars. It was a great great great experience. Youseff and his team are great at communicating from before you sign up until you are returned to your riad or hotel after the experience. They are a lot of fun, but they are also total professionals - focused on the safety and happiness of their clients. We were picked up exactly as promised; we arrived at the launch location to coffee and tea. A real safety briefing followed with confirmation of understanding in at least 4 languages. We separated in to 4 groups, I think, with no more than 8 in a balloon. 8 v 24+ in other companies’ balloons is a big part of the better experience here. A long ride followed, promised at 40 minutes but more like an hour for us. Throughout, Youseff ensured we had photos for all the key moments, that we were able to appreciate the experiences, and that we were safe. When we landed, a much bigger than expected breakfast awaited - delicious! I cannot say enough positives about how this team operates, you could not be in better hands. Choose this experience if planning to balloon in Marrakech.

This was my first time in a hot air balloon and it was amazing! I loved that it was a small group so people weren’t blocking my photos. We went up so high and I was able to get amazing pictures and videos. Everyone was great from pick up, to check in and the safety tips. Each person got special attention because we were a smaller group and we were all able to get individual photos for our memories. I highly recommend doing this tour when you’re in Marrakech!!

Unique ballooning experience in Marrakech

The ride was smooth and serene, as if floating on a cloud. The silence was only interrupted by the occasional roar of the burners, which only added to the excitement. I was in awe of the stunning scenery as we glided over the desert, with sand dunes and rocky outcroppings stretching out in every direction. Mohamed was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the history and culture of Morocco, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and safe throughout the journey. As we descended back to the ground, I felt a sense of sadness that the ride was over. However, the magic didn't end there as we were treated to a traditional Moroccan breakfast, with delicious mint tea and sweet treats. This was the perfect way to end such a magical experience. In conclusion, the hot air balloon ride was an unforgettable and magical experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morocco. The combination of the breathtaking scenery, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the traditional breakfast made this a truly outstanding experience. Van begin tot einde absoluut fantastisch! Goed contact met de organisatie en enorm vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Veiligheid gaat voor alles en ze leggen alles heel goed uit. We hadden een wat kleinere groep en dat was heel fijn. De chauffeur hoorde dat mijn man jarig was. Ze vonden het vervelend dat ze dit niet eerder wisten anders hadden ze een taart gemaakt. In plaats daarvan hebben ze gezongen, muziek gemaakt en gedanst. Dit maakte het helemaal onvergetelijk! En dag met een gouden randje! Het geld wat ze verdienen komt in de regio terecht en dat is extra fijn om te weten. Dit is absoluut een top excursie!! Ècht een aanrader!
