To enhance your understanding of local ingredients, the trip starts with a visit to a local market that sells unusual fish, tropical fruits, seasonal vegetables, and exotic flowers. Continue to a hotel rooftop to make local dishes—such as fish ceviche—followed by a generous lunch with Portuguese wine and stunning views you won't find anywhere else.

During this chocolate tasting, you will have the opportunity to sample up to 10 different bean-to-bar chocolates made with organic/bio certified ceremonial cacao from 3 different origins. The chocolates range from 70-100% dark bars to drinking chocolate made with 100% dark chocolate. These chocolates have been handcrafted to bring out different flavors you may have never tasted in chocolate before (like banana, red fruits, etc.). Our CEO & Lead Chocolate Maker, Thomas, will guide you through the experience. After trying various different types of chocolate, you will select a chocolate of your choosing to take home with you. This chocolate tasting is vegan-friendly. About Us Madeira Chocolate is Madeira’s first craft bean-to-bar chocolate maker. We find the best single-origin and bio-certified cacao beans from around the world. Transforming them into delicious chocolate, right here on Madeira. Most of our chocolates use just one or two ingredients: cacao beans and cane sugar.
