Well organised. New vehicle to start with. The group leader was very helpful on what was as planned a long days walk, starting high and moving down to the sea. I recommend this to a fit walker.

Fabulous Walk - Do it!!

Exceptionally stunning scenery on this fabulous walk which I would recommend to anyone with moderate walking/climbing ability. Fabulous area of Madeira often overlooked. The walk comprises three main parts; flat levada walk to start with through interesting agricultural landscape, followed by the mist challenging section climbing - fairly gently by Madeira standards- until you reach the cliff top & those fabulous views. The final part follows the old pathway around the cliff face. Fairly rocky underfoot but not difficult. Fabulous views but not for anyone suffering from vertigo! Lido tour guide was excellent, very informative, not at all rushed with a decent break for picnic & time to take in the spectacular scenery along the way. Couldn’t recommend more.
