The Beatles footsteps

Valerie certainly showed us everything Beatles, got to walk in their footsteps and took our photo to prove it. She made sure that we saw everything that would make The Beatles experience important to us, one of our main reasons to visit London. Places that The Beatles lived, worked and interesting history regarding each place. She knew merchandise was important and besides the Apple store took us to another shop that had everything we wanted. Worth an encore.

Our tour guide Alan was knowledgeable and fun. He stopped traffic to take our crossing the road Beatle picture. The pub for lunch was a favorite.

Walking tour for the amount of money spent was a little much. Our guide was not much more knowledgeable than we were regarding the Beatles. If we done our homework we could of Googled the tour spots and done it ourselves.

Make Sure Your Guide Knows the Beatles!!!!

We registered for the Beatles Tour and were very disappointed. Our meeting time at the Arch was 3:00 pm. When we did not see the tour guide, I texted our contact at 3:03 pm, and was told to look around for her again, that she was there. After a few minutes of this, I called and texted our contact for this tour, and was told that the guide had already left! To make matters worse, the guide stated that John Lennon had only one child. I happen to know that John reportedly has 2 children (Julian from first wife, Cynthia, and Sean, from second wife Yoke Ono). How can a guide for a walking Beatles Tour not know this?

This was a brilliant tour! My tour guide (Flora?) was the best. It was Xmas Eve and I was the only participant, yet she showed up anyway. I would’ve completely understood if she had cancelled. For that, this tour company has my respect forever. Needless to say, since I got a private tour, it was phenomenal!

We were a family of 4 on our tour; it was difficult to walk the streets and hear and understand the tour guide. He had a strong British accent. My husband and I walked behind and let our daughters (20 and 22) walk closer to the tour guide. They also had difficulty understanding him. Over all very interesting but we had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Three hours was a long time for this.

This was an exceptional walking tour to see all things "Beatles". The tour was billed as three hours and turned out to be five hours of walking. We were tired and walked almost 20,000 steps. We saw everything from Abbey Road and took pictures to Abbey Road Studio to places where the Beatles lived. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we recommend him for future walking tours.

we really liked this tour. it's basically a walking tour of the areas and places the Beatles spent much of their time. The places they lived, recorded and hung out. We really liked Chris. He's a real nice guy and very informative about the Beatles and their lives.
