Great tour about the best known paintings/artists. Damiano was a spectacular guide and very engaging. We now have an eye for the details of the paintings and history of the painters. My teens 16 and 18 were impressed as well. I would absolutely recommend if you want to get the most out of your visit to the National Gallery.

Great personally adapted tour of the main attractions of the National Gallery. Damiano is a great guide who based the tour on what we knew, what we didn’t know instead of giving what can be perceived as a standard oration. Obviously he was very knowledgeable in art history far beyond what is exhibited at this museum. He even sent us a long text message afterwards giving answer to a detailed question we had on a group of paintings that he could not answer straight away. Super professional!

Damiano was amazing! We learned so much from him and would hire him in an INSTANT to guide us again. He was knowledgeable, had great facts for us, extremely flexible and generous with his time. Ask for him by name, you will not regret it. He made this experience wonderful and we look forward to seeing him in the future. We had him for both the art gallery and the British history museums and we could have double booked him for each day and it would barely be enough.

Terrific experience with our guide, Damiano. He curated the best exhibits and skillfully shepherded us through the immense galleries. His superb knowledge of the many masterpieces was fantastic and quite educational. Damiano’s wit was an extra bonus for me and my 18 year old son! After our tour we had a solid foundation for remaining at the Gallery for several more hours to continue our exploration. Well worth it. Highly recommend.

Four of us were arriving from different parts of the city but our guide was very patient waiting for us to straggle in at various times. Even with a shortened tour due to our own tardiness, Damiano made every effort to show us the key pieces in the Gallery. He was thorough and very knowledgeable.
