Humorous, informative, worthwhile

Our tour guide, Ari, was terrific. We'd planned a Wednesday tour anticipating the Changing of the Guards. However, we'd been notified by the company the previous day that the ritual would not be proceeding as scheduled due to unique celebrations in honor of the 3rd anniversary of the king's coronation. Ari assured us we'd still have a great time. It ended up being a great development. Ari began her typical tour but things diverged when we got to Buckingham Palace. She noticed a motorcade proceeding and positioned us so we're just five feet from Charles and Camilla driving by in their BMW. Then we saw Princess Anne on her royal carriage heading to Hyde Park. Ari did a wonderful job pivoting to explain these things in the context of broader British history. And with some funny modern observations, too.

guide talked too much. extremely boring! we abandoned the tour as the guide did not show us anything of the one indicated by viator! I do not recommend it to anyone. money wasted!
