A Must-Do Tour for First-Time Visitors to Lima!

This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting Lima for the first time. Whenever I travel to a new city, I make it a point to start with an introductory tour like this to get my bearings and understand the layout of the neighborhoods and local communities. This experience fulfilled that purpose perfectly—but what made it stand out was our guide, Felipe. Admittedly, I was initially unsure about Felipe due to his youthful appearance. I wondered how much insight he could offer. I couldn’t have been more mistaken. Felipe was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Lima’s history and cultural landscape, but also highly attentive to our group’s needs. My family and I truly appreciated his depth of knowledge and engaging style. After the tour, we invited Felipe to join us for dinner. He gladly accepted and even recommended several great restaurants in the area. Once we made our choice, he shared the backstory of the restaurant we selected—its origins, the history of its founder, and its evolution over the years. It added such a rich layer to our dining experience. Felipe exceeded all expectations, and while there’s no guarantee every guide will be quite like him, this tour remains an essential experience for anyone looking to understand both the highlights and realities of life in Lima. I highly recommend it.

Amazing tour with an amazing guide! Moises was very informative, personable and entertaining. He showed us main sites and viewpoints and gave great information that I wasn’t aware of. Also took time to take pictures of whomever wanted them in the group :) The day turned out longer than expected but that was due to crazy traffic! Would still recommend this tour.
