The tour was really good. You get to see and do a lot of different activities. The tour was well organized, buses were prompt, communication during the tour was excellent thru WhatsApp and the guides were friendly and helpful. There is a lot of driving involved in this tour. Be prepared to spend hours sitting on the bus going from place to place.

Liz was an amazing tour guide and Thomas was a great driver. Liz was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. She explained everything really well, kept the group engaged, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. Thomas was professional, safe, and reliable on the road, which made a long trip feel much easier and more relaxing. Together they made this experience memorable, well-organized, and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially with Liz as the guide and Thomas as the driver.

One of the best experiences ever! The sunset at Huacachina dessert was beautiful. Peru hop did a great job with coordination and communication. I was amazed with the great service they provided.

Tour good , Viator bad

Roger_F, Jun 2026
The tour is very busy. All the sites were excellent. Two warnings.First the driving times are very long. I spent 10 hours in a bus on the last day sfter my Nasca flight. Secondly Viator gave me the wrong advice. They told me the hotel and meals were included in the price. They were not. And when I contacted Viator they basically said “Tough luck”. It was poor service from Viator. Although this was not the tour providers fault.

Fantastic ending to a great trip.

Great experience!

Michele_R, Jun 2026
The entire trip was awesome and well-organized. I highly recommend it. Just be aware that you need to walk about 10 minutes up the sand dune to get to the buggies and do the sand boarding. This could be challenging for anyone with slight mobility issues.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Hi Michele, Thank you for your sharing your experience and your recommendation! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your trip and found everything well-organized. We also appreciate your helpful note about the 10-minute walk up the sand dune to the buggies and sandboarding, this is valuable information for other travelers, especially those with mobility concerns. Warm regards Peru Hop

Some important points to consider

Gerald_D, May 2026
A few things worth knowing. The bus rides are long and they do not stop. Bring your food with you. Lunch stop was the Pisco distillery and the food was a bit of a rip off. $30 per person for a very underwhelming meal. If I did it again I'd bring a lunch. In Chaucachina the meet up point is the Wild Rover. It looks like a party hostel. We stayed overnight in Senoma Hotel, which is a 3 minute walk down the street. Very good restaurant there as well. Second day is basically 10 hours in the bus for a 30 minute flight. Seeing the Nazca lines was a bucket list item for me, so it was worth it. But know what you are signing up for. Lunch on second day you are on your own. Just down the street was Rico Pollo and it was great. 42 sol for half a chicken that few both of us, and it was delicious. They will give you link to buy food from Wild Rover to take on 4 hour ride back to Lima. Again, the price was high for marginal food. If possible get carryout somewhere else. We loved the trip, but felt like the food choices they pushed at the distillery and at Wild Rover were a bit of a rip off.

Fun and easy trip!

michelle_g, Apr 2026
Such a great inexpensive way to get many tours at once. I recommend paying g the extra for reserved seats. Jean Pierre on the first portion of the tour was amazing. The boat captain also was fantastic. The girls who did the Nazca portion were good but the guide back to Lima was horrible and some guests that had to do am additional bus transfer to there hotels were not told till we got to Lima where she abruptly told them to get off the bus she was also really rude to an elderly gentleman. Other than this the trip was perfect. Popcorn on way home a nice touch. Please note no charging available on the bus you will need to buy a battery.

Oasis was amazing!

Corinna_B, Apr 2026
The first excursion was great! The oasis was amazing and one of our favorite parts of the trip. We did have problems with our second tour to Nazca. Liz was not the best tour guide we have had. When asked questions about the lines, she was annoyed to answer our questions and did not help direct us to our booking counter at the Nasca airport. I think if we had a better tour guide we would have enjoyed our time more, except we felt like a bother.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Hi Corinna, Thank you for your kind words about Huacachina and the Nazca experience. We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed those parts of your journey. Regarding your comments about our guide Liz, we did try to contact you privately to better understand the situation, but unfortunately didn’t receive a response. This feedback surprises us, as our guides are highly trained and we consistently receive many 5-star reviews highlighting their professionalism and support. That said, we take your comments seriously and will review this internally. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. Warm regards, Peru Hop

Paracas, Huacachina , and Nasca Lines are amazing Places to visit in Peru. Better to come instead of somebody telling you about It. Those Nasca Giant drawings are truly spectacular!!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Hi Luis, Thank you for sharing your excitement about Paracas, Huacachina, and the Nazca Lines! We couldn’t agree more, these destinations are truly spectacular and experiencing them in person is unforgettable. The Nazca lines are a one-of-a-kind wonder, and we’re thrilled they were a highlight of your trip. Thank you for choosing Peru Hop to be part of your adventure.

Pack your bags and go to Nazca!

Brian_K, Mar 2026
This is an amazing, yet compact two day deep dive into Parachas, Hauchachina and Nazca. The first day is the easiest on the soul, early pick up, nap on the bad and then an enjoyable 2 hour boat ride to view sea lions, water birds and the occasional whale. Afterwards, an hour drive to lunch which is served at a quaint Pisco vineyard where you can easily toss down several cocktails and shots if that’s your thing. Huacachina is an amazing tourist town/oasis where the dune buggy and sand boarding trips were well organized. Plenty of downtime afterwards. Both the “party hostel” and more upscale hotels had “good vibes”. Travelers come and go and fast friendships are created. As mentioned in previous reviews, the day to Nazca can be a bit of a slog. Know what you’re signing up for. It’s about a 3 hour drive, 2-2.5 hours in town with included flight over Nazca (about 30 minutes) and lunch is on your own. Then a 3 hour drive in a shuttle to Hauchachina, an hour to two for dinner/break while other tours return and then a 4 - 4.5 hour bus ride back. The final day is a long day, hence some of the negative reviews perhaps, but if flying over Nazca is your ultimate goal - pack your bags and go. Tour company was extremely professional, well organized, attentive to needs and exceptional.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Brian, Thank you for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the rich variety of experiences in Paracas, Huacachina, and Nazca, from relaxing boat rides to the excitement of sandboarding and the iconic Nazca flight. Thank you for highlighting our organization and professionalism, as well as the balance of lively and relaxing moments throughout the trip. We appreciate your honest note about the longer travel day to Nazca and agree that it’s helpful for future travelers to be prepared for a full day of adventure. Your feedback is invaluable and helps ensure we continue offering memorable journeys across Peru. Warm regards, Peru Hop

This experience was amazing, comfortable, and well organized. It was the perfect way to get to Nazca stress free and still see many sights and activities along the way. The buses were so comfortable and all of the guides were knowledgeable and kind. My family loved all of the different types of activities and coordination. We highly recommend this!

Expectations were high after first day but let down by second

Raymond_R, Dec 2025
Day 1 followed itinerary with plenty of commentary. The pickup was before the expected time (0452), as I was first on the bus. This day was a lot of fun and had some great activities, assisted by our guide who was both knowledgeable and chatty (everything bilingual). Every activity was, as per the brochure and punctual and coordinated. The boat ride was well organised and very enjoyable. lunch at the winery was also a pleasant diversion with sampling as well. The dune buggy (cut down Land Cruiser) was a highlight, which included sand boarding (plenty in your pockets!) and then capture the sunset. Day 2 The guide was late to pickup at 07:00 Drive to Nazca tower was fine, although no commentary until we arrived at the tower. There was no indication of the expectation at the tower and would have had no commentary, except that a Spanish couple asked a question. The reply was only in Spanish so I didn’t understand the reply ( and had switched off as previously all explanations had been bilingual). During the 30 minutes drive to Nazca, there was no explanation of the process at the airport, other than we need passport and money. At the airport we were pointed to the company counter and the guide left us to joke with airport workers. There was no guidance. As I was travelling alone, I was put with another group, which was fine, but I was late to the group because having to find and pay at the government tax office. We entered the runway airside at 10:30 (according to my photographs) and disembarked just after 11:15 as expected. This process was handled by the flying officer. As a commercial pilot with 1500 flying hours in Cessna 206/207/208 and 210 aircraft, I was disappointed in the safety briefing. There was no mention of entry to the runway, no mention of safety access to and from the aircraft for passengers (operation of doors or seatbelts) and emergency exit. The pilots did do a checklist (challenge and response), but I did not hear an emergency briefing. The flight itself was amazing with so many geo glyphs visible. When we left the aircraft, there was no one to greet me and I was nearly ushered onto another shuttle bus. Our guide did not appear until 10 minutes after the rest of our group had disembarked. The shuttle did not arrive until 11:50. We arrived in Nazca at approx 12:05 at Moms Cafe. There was no mention of (optional) going to the Nazca Aqueducts, as per the booking, but just that we would meet the bus driver at 14:30. As the shuttle was not our van, I can only assume that I was meant to ask for a lift to the aqueduct. On the bus at 14:30 (our guide was late) it was not announced that we were returning to Huacachina, but I soon gathered that was the case as it was the the opposite direction to the aqueduct. The departure was an hour earlier than expected and arrival at Huacachina was also early at 17:25 The guide slept in the van on the return. We then waited until 18:45 for the return coach to Lima. The drop off was at the scheduled time.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Ray, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your experience. We’re glad to hear that your first day fully met your expectations and that you enjoyed your time in Paracas and Huacachina. We also appreciate your kind words about the activities and our guides; that means a lot to us. Regarding the second day, I am sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations. According to our records, we could confirm that our guide arrived at the pickup point punctually for the scheduled departure. All our guides are bilingual and are trained to provide explanations in both languages. For this specific day, some Spanish-speaking travellers asked additional questions, which may have resulted in more interaction in Spanish at times. For the Nazca flight logistics, it’s important to note that the flight is operated by an independent local provider. All airport procedures, including payments, boarding, safety briefings, and flight operations, are handled by the licensed aviation operator in accordance with Peruvian aviation regulations. As for the Nazca Aqueducts, it is stated on our website that they are an optional add-on and are not included in the standard itinerary. Travellers are given approximately 2.5 hours of free time in Nazca to organize optional activities independently, allowing flexibility based on personal interest. Thank you again for your feedback. We’re confident that the tour was delivered in line with the published itinerary and inclusions, and we hope the landscapes and experiences remain a lasting memory of your time in Peru. Safe travels, The Peru Hop Team

Fantastic tour

Kathy_S, Nov 2025
The trip was very well organized. The guides were kind, responsible, professional, and spoke excellent English. Our guide, Louis, was wonderful. Thank you.

No for everyone.

Monson_M, Nov 2025
This is an multi-faceted program. It includes a boat ride to observe birds, penguins, and sea lions on an island in Paracas, an experience on a desert in Huacachino that includes a dune buggy ride and a sand boarding. The highlight is of course the Nazca fly over. However, there are things to consider before booking: the bus ride is very long- 9 hours one way. The Nazca plane ride is not for everyone. You may have motion sickness as several members of my tour group have as the plane swerves left-right, up-down so that passengers on both sides are able to see the lines. If you have motion sickness on board, you will end up seeing nothing or even unable to take photos as doing so will worsen the situation And don’t forget to book your accommodation that is not included in advance. Finally, the return trip arrives at Lima at almost midnight. It’s exhausting but rewarding.

Peru hop tour Nazca lines, Huacachina & more

Sudha_J, Oct 2025
Para as Candelebra was the highlight! Plus sea lions, penguins & all kinds of birds. The water was so blue

Top notch

Bruno_V, Oct 2025
Terrific organisation, great guides. I originally booked this to do Nazca only, but the sandboarding, sandbuggy and Paracas were amazing experiences.

Just fine

Alexandra_M, Sep 2025
I regretted having booked this. The tour itself is fine, it does what it says on the tin- you'll go on the boat, see some sea lions, go to Huacachina and do the Nazca flight. You'll also spend a lot of time sat on a bus. For me, if you're desperate to do these activities specifically, and you're strapped for time, this is a good option, but it is very much just ticking things off rather than fully experiencing anything. Some of it is quite disorganised- I messaged my guide the morning of my pickup to say the hotel entrance wasn't obvious so he'd need to call me when the bus arrived, he said no worries they'd find me, and then half an hour later I messaged and he said the bus couldn't find me so they left! Nobody tried to call at all even though I'd asked them to, and given I had already messaged the guide, they knew I was somewhere waiting to be picked up and could have contacted me, instead they decided to just leave without me. They had to send a taxi to bring me to the bus, so it did get sorted but it wasn't really acceptable that it happened in the first place on the basis that I had communicated the situation beforehand. A lot of it felt rushed too, I didn't really feel like I ever had a minute to just chill out. Overall it was fine, but if you have time and energy to do these things for yourself, I think that'd be a better option than going for this organised tour, or use the night buses rather than travelling for large parts of the day and then only getting a short period in the destination. The drop-off isn't at your hotel, it's near your hotel. So if you're travelling alone and female, like me, might be worth knowing that too.

Wild Action

Michael_C, Aug 2025
The dune buggy ride is more vigorous than you can imagine. You will be jostled and get bruised. Screaming does ensure! Do not avoid the sand boarding, also more crazy speed than you thought!

The trip with Peruhop was...

Arnaud_M, Jul 2025
The trip with Peruhop was too long (Lima-Paracas-Huacachina-Nazca-Huacachina-Lima) = more than 15h bus !

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Hi Arnaud Thank you for sharing your feedback with fellow travelers. Regarding the length of the tour, we do our best to make this clear in advance, noting that it is a 2-day trip. With Paracas and Huacachina located about four hours from Lima, and Nazca approximately three hours beyond Huacachina, many travelers join us fully aware of the long travel times and value the chance to see these destinations in just two days. That being said, we know everyone travels differently, which is why we also offer 3-day and 4-day options for those who prefer a slower pace and more downtime in each destination. These alternatives might be a better fit for future travellers who wish to avoid such a long return day. We also appreciate your feedback and hope you left with some unforgettable memories of the desert and the coast. Thanks again for choosing Peru Hop!

Thrill ride for 2 days

Radha_G, Jul 2025
Amazing from the get go! Really well planed and executed 2 day tour. I did not find myself waiting around for some thing to happen . There was constantly a lot of activity. The dune buggy rides were exhilarating. The sand boarding was novelty and fun. I was awestruck during the paracas tour. The nazca lines gave some clarity on the origin etc. we did get food poisoning after eating at the Wild Rover hotel barbecue and it took more than 4 days am antibiotics to clear that bug. We only drank bottled water and even brushed our teeth with it. Overall, minus the food poisoning, 11/10. The bus was comfortable and always on time. The guide Sol was informative and very upbeat,

Well organised tour

Anupama_K, Jul 2025
Huacachina was fantastic. Saw Seals, Penguins, Pelicans at Bellastas islands. Sand boarding and the buggy ride was great fun. Weather was great for seeing the Nazca lines. Planning and coordination was done very well by Peru Hop.

Nice tour overall

Alejandro_G, Jun 2025
This is an awesome tour which could be even better with a couple of adjustments such as an alternative to sandboarding or riding on the dunes.

Love Peru Tours

Kristina_P, Jun 2025
Honestly I didn't expect much because this tour was the cheapest we found, but everything was amazing. well planned. amazing guides, Angela and Leo were the reason we decided to continue to work with Peru Tours in Cuzco too. They just really go out their way to make sure you have a great experience.

Early Pickup Without Name Check or Communication — We Were Left Behind

Jillian_C, Jun 2025
We were really looking forward to this tour, but it turned into one of the most frustrating parts of our trip. The confirmation email clearly stated a 5:30 a.m. pickup at our Lima hotel. We were in the lobby by 5:05 a.m., ready and waiting, but no one approached us, called our names, or made any effort to identify us. The operator later claimed they “attempted” pickup but arrived early and never verified names — they simply asked for “two people” and left. We received no communication prior to the tour, and no response to our messages the morning of. Afterward, we were sent a video as “proof,” but the audio is obstructed by a loud ringing and it does nothing to confirm proper procedure or identity verification. We were then told we could either try to meet the group four hours away or reschedule for another day — but we were on a carefully planned vacation with a full itinerary, and neither option was remotely realistic. We followed all instructions, were on time, and were ready. The failure was entirely on the operator’s side — early arrival, no name check, no contact, and no accountability. We paid over $500 for a tour we never got to experience. Viator should seriously reconsider working with this provider.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Hi Jillian. We are happy to let people know we have resolved this with you internally. This is something that has never happened, as over 60,000 customers a year can testify, and as we explained in the private emails, we will ensure this will never happen again…it was human error from our team, they have been reprimanded and processes have been put in place to prevent this ever again. Thanks for your understanding and safe travels from all at Peru Hop

You get what you pay...

Tatiana_C, Jun 2025
You get what you pay for!! Amazing and super organized. Must do when you come to Peru! Franco our tour guy was amazing the first day as well as Nylka de second day. We loved the Nasca lines and the pilote was excellent helping us identifying the drawings from above.

2 day trip to nazca

Michael_J, May 2025
Two day trip to Nazca. First day we drove to paracas for a boat trip. Beautiful island saw penguins, pelicans and sea lions. Then on to huacachina. The oasis was stunning and the sand dunes like nothing I have seen before. The sand buggy was quite extreme but a fantastic experience then surfing down the dunes was also a lot of fun. The next morning 3 hours on the coach down to Nazca. The lines and drawings are amazing but the flight was a lot of turning to allow for photos and I was very sick as were a few people, be warned. It was then a 7 hour drive back to lima. The trip was definitely worth it and was very well organised

Unforgettable!

Lorenzo_B, Apr 2025
Super fun, especially the buggies in Huacachina! I would strongly recommend doing this two-day trip over the one-day one without Nazca as at least you spread the long drive to/from Lima over two days

Nazca

Nicole_M, Apr 2025
It was a great 2 day tour which was jam packed due to the distance. As tiring as it was and with the delays due to traffic cutting into food breaks it was still worth it. I would probably leave out the aqueducts part. Not worth $20 usd and not enough time.
