Easy to find and an easy leisurely walk. Saw many many red eyed frogs, the translucent frog, red poison dart frog, a couple sloths, snake, and many insects. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend!

We enjoyed the tour! Make sure you bring a rain coat. We came in supposedly "dry season" and there were drizzles. We were able to see a lot of animals (strawberry dart frog, toucan, sloth, etc.).

We had a lovely time! The guides showed us animals that we would never have been able to see including snakes, lizards, and sloths. It was a fun group and our kids (ages 5 and 7) enjoyed a lot!

Our family had a wonderful time on this nighttime jungle experience — this excursion far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Sebastian, was knowledgeable, patient, and a wonderful resource. We learned a great deal about all the local spiders, frogs, sloths and other animals and reptiles that inhabit the area. It was amazing to hear how alive the jungle is at night— great experience overall and would definitely recommend.

The guide on this tour was very sub par, they were barely able to spot frogs besides the ones at the very beginning of the tour. We as a group spotted more frogs as the hike went on. Also, we didn’t know this place was a preserve and we weren’t doing the night tour in the wild per se. Overall disappointed with the experience and won’t recommend

My family and I including kids had a great time! The guides were so skilled at finding the smallest camouflaged creatures in the dark with their naked eyes and flashlights. They made us feel safe and worked hard to find as many creatures to see as possible. We felt lucky to see 2 types of venomous snakes, several types of frogs and toads, a sloth, an anteater, and a hairy spider. The hike was about 2 hours on flat terrain so totally manageable; however, for younger kids would recommend a stroller or carrier.

We saw sloths, several species of frogs, termites, other insects, spiders, a lizard, a bird nesting on the ground with her chicks, a mouse, fish, and amazing fireflies
I wish we had seen more but that is up to the animals.

We did see a couple of sloths, but they were so high it looked like a ball in a tree, but that's what all the sloths do. We saw a red eyed frog that was cool and a very long snake in the creek. Because it is nature it will always be changing so every tour will be different.

In our tour, we try to do our best, but there are things that we cannot control, and that is out of our hands (weather and animals) ... We hope you enjoyed your tour. Regards

The tour operator did not reply to email about hotel pickup, but luckily the location was close to town, so I stopped by to arrange for one.
It is a tour of a private reserve, right off the main La Fortuna road. The track was flat and dry. The guide was very knowledgable and tried hard to spot wild lives. We did see several sloths, frogs and bugs. But it was a bit of a slow night. All in all it was a good experience. Would be a great value if the price is lower
