This was a great activity. We loved the night walk with our Guide Aaron. He was very knowledgable and made our activity very exciting. It is highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica especially with the kids.

Lots of interesting frogs and critters. Saw an eyelash viper. Tour guide we had was less enthusiastic and perhaps sighted less than the other guides we saw in the area. All groups were 4 people which was a nice size for a group tour
We saw a lot more/ enjoyed our private tour more/fantastic tour guide in Monteverde, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Wonderful experience . Angie has a great eye for spotting pointing out various creatures in the night!we saw the famous fer d lance snake as well as the eyelash pit viper, Halloween snake and many different frogs. Highly recommend this tour.

Saw lots of red-eyed tree frogs, three varieties of rain frogs, a toad, a fer de lance snake, a wandering spider and even a sleeping sloth! Jason was a very knowledgeable guide.

I highly recommend this night hike! 2 minutes into the hike we saw beautiful tree frogs. Throughout the hike we saw more frog species, crickets, ants, snakes, mushrooms and were educated in the trees and plants that grow here. This is a tour for all ages. They provide you with a flash light, but the one I brought was brighter, and bottled water. Besides a rain jacket, No need to being anything else.

Fantastic night tour with Vitor. He was really knowledgeable and engaging, spotting excellent wildlife and also educating us along the way. We saw all sorts of animals, from frogs, snakes to lizards. Would really recommend this tour to groups of all ages and sizes. Vitor even offered to take photos of the creatures for us. Cannot recommend this enough.

We had a tremendous rainstorm earlier that day and the frogs, giant grasshoppers and more were out en mass. We had a phenomenal guide who was very knowledgeable and engaging, and who also pointed out a large snake and tree sloth. Great experience in a small group (6 of us). Don’t miss it!

We saw many many species of frogs, a snapping turtle, a large venomous snake. and a sloth with a baby. My grandkids loved it. I did too.

We were so happy to discover Gerald was our guide for this tour, as we had met him earlier in the day at a sloth tour and thought he was just great! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about lots of different animals, and even though it was raining the entire time, we saw plenty of really cool frogs, and also some snakes! He’s got a great eye for finding all the animals! I would definitely recommend taking this tour, with Gerald if you can request him!
