Jessenia was our guide and she was wonderful an dreally knowledgeable. We loved the tour. You take a walk through nature and let your guide show you the wildlife and vegetation around. The cane sugar juice was an added bonus. We wanted to see sloths and Jessenia found them for us. We actually got really lucky as one was actually down form the tree and gave us a show!!! A memorable tour which I recommend to all. The tour is easy enough that children or older people should enoy as well. If you book through viator, please note the meeting point is at Spring Paradise not where they have it listed but thanks to the very nice locals we were able to find it.

Our guide was very friendly; however, he was constantly disturbing wildlife. Our guide shook a tree to make a sloth lift its head. He was constantly whistling to mimic an eagle so that the sloths would move. He handled a frog. These behaviors are both unethical and illegal. I would chose a different company next time.

What a great time we had! We saw 2 sloths,a toucan & eye lash viper snake with lots of different birds! Our guide was excellent and it was a great day….Pura Vida

Wow! What an amazing experience! Carlos was an excellent tour guide. We walked maybe 100 feet and saw a howler monkey and a sloth! This was only the start, we got to see so many cool creatures. And Carlos is so knowledgeable it made for such a great experience. Wish I could use have Carlos on all my Costa Rica tours!

Manfred was an excellent guide!! We saw the elusive blue Jean frog and 4 sloths!! It was the best! We had been to CR before and only saw one.

Very good place to see some of Costa Rica’s wild life! We had the chance to take fantastic pictures (super close) and learn a lot about the animals.

Short walk around there property but saw many animals. We saw several sloths that were close to the ground, toucans, capuchin monkeys, green tree frogs snakes and more.

This tour was AMAZING! So worth the drive it took us to get there. Marlon, our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and conservation of Costa Rican jungles. He was such a great guy! It was so great to see the animals we saw in their natural environment and not in a cage somewhere. We were lucky enough to see a 3 toed sloth, howler monkeys, a red eyed tree frog and many different birds. We also got to learn about the vegetation all around. This tour is a MUST see!

A wonderful experience. Saw red-eyed tree frog, red dart poison frog and both an adult sloth (actually moving and eating) and a baby sloth. All within a close distance. Guide was amazing - personable and knowledgeable plus helped get some great pictures through her binoculars. Very accessible paths jn a beautiful place. Our family loved it!

The tour was just what we wanted with some great surprises. A walk through the wildlife brought out a viper, colorful frogs, bats and with our luck, a sloth at eye level. All amongst beautiful flora and birds galore. Giancarlo was a great guide!

This was a fantastic tour lead by Edgardo and Allison - a perfect couple who shared their knowledge and searched for wildlife while we hiked through the property. It was a real value as we saw 5 two and three toed sloths, spiders, frogs, mot mots and a group of howler monkeys - one of them was a mom who swung through the trees while carrying her little baby on her back, another was a vocal dominant male. We spent about two hours and thought the excursion had ended, but we were treated to fresh fruit and ice tea while watching butterflies and humming birds. Would definitely recommend for all ages!

We had a great time during our tour with Johnny. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly—we enjoyed not only learning about the wildlife, but also the importance of eco tourism and observing animals in their natural habitat;. We saw blue leg frogs, toucans, a baby sloth (!) and many interesting plants. Thank you, Johnny, for a wonderful afternoon!

We had an excellent walk through the private jungle sanctuary called Frogs Paradise with our guide Johnny Mendez. Johnny was very knowledgeable and obviously shared a love with the flora and fauna. He was able to point out a three toed Sloth and a poison dart frog among other amazing birds and plants that we never would have spotted on our own. We also managed to get some wonderful photos on our cel phones with his help through his zoom scope. I would definitely recommend this tour and guide.

The tour guide was amazing however viator sold it as being in our local area where as in fact it was nearly 2 hours away by car

We were very impressed with this Tour and the Guides who had a wealth of information to share. So excited to see Toucans, Sloths, Tapir, a variety of frogs, bugs and an owl. We would not have been able to get the pictures we did without their help. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Johnny was an excellent guide and our family of 3 enjoyed our two hours immensely. The walk doesn’t require any physical stamina. We saw frogs (including the national frog of Costa Rica and the poisonous dart frog), frogs eggs (so cool!), a toucan, other birds, and two sloths! We learned about the trees and various plants. We highly recommend this tour and Johnny!
