    What To Expect

Meet your driver and guide in downtown La Fortuna in the morning, and travel in an air-conditioned minivan to the hanging bridges circuit trail. Here, walk along a series of six suspension bridges and nine fixed walkways that criss-cross different levels of the magnificent rain forest. The 1.9-mile (3.1-km) trail is mostly flat, so it’s suitable for most ability levels. Along the way, look out for native wildlife and stop to appreciate the lush vegetation.

Hop back in the van and head next to the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall. A short hike leads from the trailhead to the gorgeous cascade, where you can swim in natural pools at the base or simply soak up the surrounding beauty.

After departing this tropical paradise, reward your efforts with a typical Costa Rican lunch at a local restaurant. Your tour concludes back in downtown La Fortuna in the afternoon.

This was a great day! Good variety in activities, and a really good way to experience the area in short amount of time. Our guide was excellent! We saw a ton of wildlife, even a sloth! The bridges are beautiful! Travelers – be aware that it is crowded. We loved the waterfall and swim! The volcano park was nice ending activity. This tour included a gourmet farm to table lunch in a beautiful, secluded, tropical setting! Five stars all around! I would do this tour again!

Enjoyed seeing the spider monkeys playing in the treetops. Great views from the bridges! Excellent guide and driver.

    Fantastic experience

We’re so glad we chose this experience! It was well worth the cost. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The two excursions are in different locations and you can leave your bag in the secure bus. We saw a sloth, howling monkey, viper, blue jean frogs, cuadis, and various birds and bugs...it was awesome. They provide towels for the waterfall excursion. Lunch was fabulous too. This was a fantastic experience!!!

    Wow!

The tour was well organized and delivered. We loved being on the swinging bridges and seeing nature both up close and across the vistas! I loved the waterfall but found the 500 steps a challenge. Lunch was amazing at their site - great food, set in a garden with our group being the only one there. Wonderful!

Took this tour with my daughter. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to the park. Our group was bilingual: English and Spanish. Tour guides were great!! Indira and Rafael. Learned a lot and the scenery was amazingly beautiful. Guides are able to identify wildlife quickly and share details with group. We would never have been able to find and identify the animals, reptiles and birds on our own. Waterfalls are beautiful although we did not swim as the water was a bit chilly. Lunch afterwards was excellent. Food delicious. They did ask if anyone had food allergies, too. It did go late about an hour. We were supposed to be back at hotel by 2 and arrived by 3. Still, we highly recommend this tour!

Guide was great at spotting lots of wildlife and pointing things out. Group was quite large and the bridges were very busy which meant we were slightly rushed. Waterfall was nice but again was very busy.

This tour was fabulous for many reasons. Our tour guide, Allan, shared so much information with us, not only about the rainforest, but also about the customs and history of Costa Rica, without over-talking. He gave short tidbits, only talking for a few minutes at a time, which gave plenty of time to take in the breathtaking scenery and chatting with the others in our group. They kept our groups to a maximum of 8 which allowed us to move along without constantly waiting for people. It was good to go, with the group, straight to lunch, together, as we were all hungry and tired by the end.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Costa Rica and the tourism boom. The hike was a very comfortable walk in the park. We saw an eyelash viper, a poison tree frog, spider monkeys, leaf cutter ants, and a great view of Arenal volcano. Next was La Fortuna waterfall and a dip in the icy cold stream below. The tour ended with a delightful lunch. This excursion was an excellent way to start our adventure in Costa Rica.

It was great. At first I was thinking that my husband and I could have done this on our own. But we would not have been able to.spot all the cool animals and reptiles in the hanging bridges area so having a guide was important. The waterfall was a quick stop. The resturant was amazing!
