Our driver, Kacper, was really excellent. Spot on timing, careful driving, informative and personable. The visit to Auschwitz/Birkenhau was harrowing and well organised. We did a two hour tour and the guide was ok. There is a lot to see and it is harrowing, emotional and powerful. Guide was ok, but group sizes (c.30) were probably too big and at time it seemed a tad rushed. Additionally, there is so much video data available - for example that shown at the Nuremberg trials - which could have been used to powerful effect. In my view, there is a lot of scope to better illustrate the full horror.

Our driver Mathew was efficient and organised and would definitely use Mathew again. Tickets were organised for us and he directed us through to the English tour group -
The tour of Auschwitz- which is organised by the actual camp facility is terrible - you can’t visit the camp without being a part of their tour - there’s too many people - you’re treated like cattle - our guide was suppose to be English speaking - I’m guessing English was a 4th language for her. There’s no time to look and reflect - it’s a travesty -

Daniel, our driver, was a polite, punctual and safe driver. He contacted us the evening before to confirm the trip and pickup details. Perfect.
Our guide from Auschwitz, Michael (English spelling) - arranged through Viator was excellent. His English was perfect and clear and his knowledge of the subject was clearly exceptional.
Our tour of Auschwitz 1 took 2 hours before taking the shuttle to Auschwitz-Birkenstock where we toured for another hour.
The subject is pretty gruesome so I was glad to have researched it beforehand and Dan Snow’s History Hits on YouTube or BBC Sounds (Auschwitz & Rudolf Hoess episodes) helped to soften the blow.
I believe it’s something we should all witness and it’s encouraging that so many school parties were present.
This is our fourth tour with Viator (Normandy D-Day beaches, The Salt Mines, Schindler’s factory and now Auschwitz) and we have been impressed with each one.
Top Tip - Auschwitz only allow a v small rucksack into the camp. Try to have a substantial breakfast beforehand, as there’s only a few machines dispensing chocolates, crisps, and don’t be late for your pickup.

Very sombre experience throughout however our driver Daniel and guide (think she was called Eva) was absolutely fantastic- very efficient collection/drive and drop off and both extremely knowledgable. They were both very helpful and approachable and super welcoming

Our driver Kimil (sorry about spelling) was amazing and very knowledgeable. He provided historical facts going to and coming back from Auschwitz. These guys set up the tour, which was on time and well organized. From an emotional standpoint, this is an extremely heavy day that lasts even after you get back to the hotel. Having our driver instead of being on a big bus made it much easier. Would highly recommend.

Our experience at Auschwitz was incredibly moving and powerful. In terms of the organisation of the trip, this company was excellent - great communication via WhatsApp ahead of time and our driver, Wes, was wonderful. He was very knowledgable himself, and also made the journey stress-free and enjoyable. He gave us our tickets and explained where we should go and how the entrance works. Having a private transfer was definitely the right way to make the journey. Would recommend.

Our driver Adam was great. He was very friendly and a good driver. His English was excellent. Adam made sure to explain everything and got us into the correct line so we did not need to wait a longer time.
The car we went in was a good size and very clean.
The tour portion is handled by the museum, but our driver made sure we arrived on time so that we would not miss the tour. He was in contact with the tour guide.
The tour was well done and is well worth it. There are only group tours in the camps/ museum.
The tour company communicated well with us by the Viator system. Check Viator” contact tour operator “ for messages.
Highly recommend this tour and tour company.

The Tour guide was very knowledgeable and approachable but we thought it was a bit rushed as we did not have time to read and look at Personal statements or contents of display cabinets if being on her own so next time I would go on our own.

The Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp is a terrible place. Full of cruelty and pain. That is why it is so important to visit this place at least once in your life, learn its history and understand it better yourself. Visiting places like this is not the best experience but I think it is worth seeing them to remember how terrible the period of the history of mankind was World War II.

Burkenau fin de journée un peu rapide avant que la nuit ne tombe mais toujours les explications et des moments pour se recueillir..
