Ha Long Bay is so beautiful and it's crowded every day, especially in summer and weekends

Follow up the policy of Halong bay administration about environment, they don't allow to bring plastic bottle water to the boat & visit spots. But tourists can bring multi-use bottle/ glass bottle/ thermos bottle...Or you can leave your plastic water bottle in your bag to pass the gate!
Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay.

Great Tour with Sick People

It was wonderful but there was a very sick person in the group coughing nonstop the entire trip. They should have sent her off the bus.

We had a beautiful ship in ha long bay, spectacular food service, lots of fun with our guide thuc . We were transported from the hotel to a bus, then to the boat, did a lot of activities and we also did the fast boat for extra $10 per person, but it was well worth it. I would do it again with them!

the location itself is beautiful. however, the tour experience was not good because * too crowded * tour guide did the bare minimum amount of work. It was hard looking for him. He has no flag or speaker. When we get to the bamboo boat activity, there was no instruction on where to go or what to do. * tour group was too big * schedule said we would be back at 6pm but it wasn't mentioned until the tour is started that we wouldn't be back until 9pm and no dinner was provided. there was also no opportunity to buy dinner since we were on the bus traveling back.

Halong Bay is crowded all year around, and it's more crowded when you stoped for bamboo boat or cave or titop island. I totally agree and understand about your experience. But for now we have no solution for it yet. I think I mentioned clearly that you will be back at around 20.45 - 21.00 in Hanoi. 6pm is the time you finished boat trip in Halong Bay, then you need to drive back Hanoi. Driver also stops on highway for 15 - 20 minutes only becuse not everyone wants to stop longer for dinner. I appreciate your time to share your feedback to help me improve my service. Regards, Viet

Everything was great. Really friendly staff, great food, great sights and comfortable transport. A little pushy at times to hurry the group along but understandable. More warning before each sight woud be nice to avoid toilet queues on the boat while the tour leaves you behind.

Like a journey to another world

Very nice tour. Passing between hundreds of islets of this archipelago offers an incredible scenes, and the visit to the grand cave in one of them was really a kind of surrealistic experience where you can almost feel like being in the 'Tolkien's world'. The bout was climatized and very comfortable. Buffet lunch on the boat based on the local food was delicious. Definitely a tour to recommend.

This was the worst tour I’ve done on Viator. I was told that I would be picked up at 8:15, and they arrived 20 minutes early so I couldn’t eat breakfast. It happens, but sucks. Then, we stop twice in a 2 hour ride- the first at a tourist rest stop and the second at a pearl store- I actually texted the contact person on viator because this wasn’t part of the tour. He tried to tell me that it was so the bus driver could rest, but I told him we already stopped at a rest stop. Then he tells me it is to make the tour cheaper. This was not on the planned itinerary and very annoying to waste an hour there. The actual boat and lunch were very nice. The attractions were all way too busy- we had to stand in line for greater than 45 minutes to get into the cave. The dock for getting on kayaks was literally 6 inches under water due to too many people on it. The fruit and wine at the end was as expected. No one liked the “fruit wine” but the fruit was tasty. I don’t think I’d recommend this to anyone. Definitely don’t go on a weekend.

Hi Morgan, I am sorry again about your bad experience with your trip. The guide made a terrible mistake about pickup and I could not fix it. I tried to explain and offered you a free drink for your lunch. At least I can offer you something to sorry about tour breakfast. As I explained about the time and the stop before going to the bay, all driver will stop at least 1 time, maybe 2, before going the port. I just told you the truth. I have no rearon to lie to you about that. If you have anyu chane to do Halong Bay trip again, you will see what I told is the truth. Even you take standard tour like this, or with a luxury 5-star tour, driver will stop there. Unless you take private car then you can go directly yo the port. I also told you the boat is only available at 12pm or after 12pm at the port, so the more early you arrive, the longer you stop on the way. As I promised, I alredy added the stop on Viator. Hope everyone who may book this trip in the future knowing about the stops so they won't get dissapointed. Again, I am very sorry about your breakfast, I wish I could do something to fix it. Hope to see you again and have a good time for your next trip in my country. Viet

Kayaking on the lake was very pleasant. We enjoyed the cave also. Food on board was excellent and service great. It was a very long day however as we started in Hanoi.

If you only have one day in your itinerary to spare, this a great way to see the sights of Ha Long Bay! Everything felt very organized from start to finish, and our tour guide Huy did a great job of keeping our group entertained and on schedule. The lunch and snack on the boat was really good as well! As long as you’re prepared for a fast paced day and a lot of fellow tourists at the island/cave stops, you’ll have a great time on this tour just like we did!

This private tour was fantastic. We had a large boat all to ourselves (6 of us). Lunch was excellent. Our tour guide Trường (Jackie) showed us this huge cave (Sung Sot), Ti-top island and a secluded cove that we reached by paddling through a small cave.

The day trips includes different activities like a boat tour with dinner, visiting a cave, a bamboo boat/kayaking and optional hiking a mountain. There were extra options like vegetarian food, but most of it was very oily. Another thing I didn’t like is that there were many delays, we always left places 20 min later than planned, which I find a little annoying. But it was still a good day since the landscape is amazing!

Qualità prezzo eccellente. La guida disponibile e sempre attenta a non perderti di vista. Le spiegazioni in inglese chiaro ( vista la difficoltà dei nativi nel parlare un inglese fluido) ed è molto preparato. La barca è pulita e confortevole. Offrono un pranzo abbondante a base di verdure e pesce, solo le bevande sono escluse ma una birra costa 1, 20€ per cui.. nel viaggio di ritorno al terminal offrono anche merenda. Il tour sono 3 fermate... In una di essa potere fare kayak o giro in barca di bamboo tipica vietnamita. Davvero raccomandabile.
