I purchased this tour on the basis that hotel pickup was included. However, only around 12 hours before the scheduled 8:00am start, I contacted the tour company to confirm the pickup and was told that it could no longer be provided because of changed city rules. This was not communicated to me in advance. The tour operator has suggested this is an issue for the third-party booking agent, Viator, but from my perspective the service I purchased has changed materially at the last minute. Saying that, once we made our way (two taxis) to the meeting point, the guide was excellent and the tour was enjoyable

I had a fantastic trip with many experiences such as rowing a bamboo boat and visiting Titop Island. Ha Long Bay is beautiful but also quite crowded. The cruise service was excellent for the price, and the buffet lunch offered a wide variety of dishes, including options for vegetarians. The tour guide was very friendly and enthusiastic. I highly appreciate the excellent organization; it's definitely worth joining.

Ha Long Bay was recommended by everyone and given our limited time in the city this one day trip was the perfect fit. I was most impressed with the selection by the crew on which islands to explore. Each was a completely unique and different experience and the final island completely blew my mind (no spoilers but just believe thats its quite amazing).

Breath Taking views

Amazing trip to see the breath taking water and mountains that grow out it. The tour boat was well equipped for dinning, the upper deck could use some more seating. Getting to see the pearl farm was a great bonus . The shear number of mountains with the mist and fog was the highlight of the tour . Our guide was punctual and knowledgeable made the trip run smoothly. The amount of tourists in any one area was a bit disappointing. I was hoping to explore a bit off the beat and path. Highly recommend the tour group and the trip.

It is over priced. This should not be advertised as Deluxe. We were supposed to be picked up from our hotel between 7:15am to 7:45am. The driver did not arrive until 8:50am.
