- If the reservation is made less than a week in advance, a place on the general tour of the monument cannot be guaranteed, but you will be given admission to the monument if available and 80 percent of the amount will be refunded.
- No changes of day or name are allowed due to monument regulations. Tickets are nominative, personal and non-transferable to avoid resale and for security reasons.
- It is mandatory to carry the original ID card or passport to access the monument.
- You must be at the meeting point for groups located in the pavilion at the entrance to the monument 10 minutes before the start of the tour. But if you are not staying in Granada you must be in the city one hour before the visits. We do not admit delays to visitors who are not staying in the city and come from Malaga, Cordoba or other cities with the time limit.
- On Sundays and Mondays we do not attend by phone, only by mail due to staff rest.
- Visitors must be available from 09:00 am to 20:00 pm for any changes. The Alhambra is the most visited monument in Spain and has limited seating, it does not accommodate visitors. Visitors must adapt to its availability and rules.
- Tickets are given to you by the guides at the beginning of the tour at the meeting point. It is not possible to enter before the tour, except for the Charles V Palace, which is free of charge and not subject to a ticket.
- The reservation of the product implies the acceptance of any schedule modification within the opening hours of the monument without the right to reimbursement.
- We use manual confirmation to secure tickets within a maximum of 72 hours. Any message insisting on confirmation before 72 hours will result in the rejection of your reservation request.
- A minimum number of participants is required for the tour. Therefore, even if your visit is confirmed, we may not be able to carry it out, although we will keep the entrance tickets for the visit we will not deliver them to you unless you request a modification for another of our products that includes the entrance to the monument.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 22 travelers

A trip to visit the Alhambra and Generalife my son and I were very much looking forward to turned into a very disappointing experience. Booking this tour with Viator was a breeze, but the operator in Granada turned out to be very unprofessional. It all started with very confusing instructions for the meeting place. When I finally found the meeting place, a hot and humid tour office with hundreds of people crowded together, the tour guide was nowhere to be seen. I asked for them, and no one seemed to know them. I texted them, they told me “We're in peak season. It's normal for the crowds to be high.”
Then it got worse. The person went on to rail against Viator itself, saying that they take 40% commission and telling us that we should feel “privileged” that we were able to get tickets even when we didn’t book the tour with much time in advance.
At this point, I was only asking for guidance and for the tour guide to make a reasonable effort to meet us somewhere. We were then accused of “making things difficult.” In the end, they texted me 30 minutes later than the time the tour was supposed to start to let us know that the tour was departing without us.
Like I said at the beginning, booking with Viator was a breeze, but the tour can only be as good as the tour company Viator works with at the location and this particular tour operator turned out to be a disaster. You’re better off booking this tour by yourself and buying your tickets straight from the Alhambra website with an audio guide included.

Dear visitor, we just have to make one comment about this. Next time, read the messages, emails, and reservation voucher, and go to the meeting point that was indicated. That way, you won't have any problems. And the workers will also feel respected.

This visitor has scammed us out of €45 using Viator's customer service. The guided tour was cancelled because we did not reach the minimum number of participants necessary to pay the guide which costs 200 euros and you have paid 30 euros for the guided tour, therefore we have sent you your tickets and refunded you the proportional part of the amount. However, you are trying to swindle us out of that amount and get your tour for free, but we do not tolerate such things. That is an attempt of robbery, in Spain and in any other country

They get last minute tickets off of the official Alhambra website for about 18 euros for whichever times are still available. Our confirmed reservation (1 month ahead) was for 10 am but the tickets they got us the night before were for 5:30 pm which meant one member could no longer attend because of scheduling. Thats not all, NO tour guide was provided. They did refund 70% but we could have still paid significantly less if we got last minute tickets ourselves on the website. 18 euro x 3 instead of that plus about 70 euro they made for getting us the tickets. My advice is to book months in advance on the official website.

In the web site you don´t have disponibility until 15th of June. You made the petition 9 of may, no one month before. Then we already have two false facts. If you think it is so easy to look for those tickets in the Alhambra system, try it yourself and stay checking the system for 20 hours a day, maybe then you will understand how many people should charge 50 euros per ticket. We don´t charge 70 euros, that is also false because the forty per cent is for this plataform Then We have looked for a general ticket for you when nobody can get tickets only for 30 euros, ten for person. Bad bussiness for us, we will choose better customers to give our service. You are welcome

I lucked out and was able to get a ticket my last day in Granada and join this tour which turned out to only be 3 of us! I had tried another company the day before, but they did not come through.
Maria Jesus was an incredible tour guide and I cannot recommend her more highly. I learned SO much about the history and culture - it was so interesting. I loved Maria's energy and really appreciated her checking in on me to make sure I joined the group.

Please do NOT book this experience with this company!! I had booked this tour several months in advance using Viator and our family was excited about visiting the Alhambra. After midnight the night before our scheduled visit, I was contacted by email to be told that they had made a mistake and there were not enough tickets to accommodate our small group of 4, asking us if we could visit the next day instead which was not an option for us. It was lucky that I even saw the message, because while traveling and touring around Spain, checking email is not often a priority. We did travel up to the area and explored the areas that were free of charge which was nice. Also, a refund through Viator was issued within a few days for the total amount.

It’s been almost a week since we visited and we’re still thinking about how beautiful the palaces and gardens were. We were so fortunate to have been able to get tickets to this tour and our 2 hour drive each way from Marbella just for this tour was absolutely worth it. Our guide Alfredo was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We’re so glad he was there to guide us and also share his perspective. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The Alhambra never fails to disappoint but to visit it under the guidance of Alfredo made it a truly unforgettable experience. I’m sorry to give only 3 stars because our guide was truly excellent, extremely knowledgeable and kind. The problem lies with the overall organization of the agency (not only this one as far as I read on the reviews here). For instance, the booking was not confirmed within the stated timeframe, and we were only informed by email the afternoon before that our visit had been moved to an earlier time. Which was not a problem, though.
The carelessness of the tour operators who manage the tickets "racket" for the Alhambra is truly appalling. When you pay such an inflated price compared to the standard ticket (and I do not believe the guides get the rightful share), you don’t expect the service to be this poor. At least we were lucky to have a good guide.
So my suggestion for others is looking for alternative channels and book many days in advance if they don't want to miss the chance to visit the Alhambra.

Sorry, but we are working every like ten hours to get maybe 4 tickets then you have to pay get them in the last minute and our work had to be paid. Our price in May is sixty euros, but now. you paid to made a reservation one day before

We signed up for a tour weeks ago and all was confirmed, and the morning of our tour were informed that it was cancelled and they could only reschedule us for next week (we will not be in Granada then). This is because apparently they couldn’t get enough tickets for Alhambra. This is incredibly irresponsible, and really messed up our plans as we went to Granada specifically to see Alhambra and the Nazrid Palaces. This is a warning to all fellow tourists - have a backup plan, and pick another tour group. Do not rely on this tour to get you access to Alhambra, since they don’t even have the tickets at the time of your booking.

Booked one month ahead for £92 package with local English speaking guide, maps, audio guides. Our first visit since 1970 on our honeymoon so very special. Totally ruined when local agent, who did not have the decency to speak to us sent a text message only a few hours before visit to tell us no guide. Also no maps, audio guides etc. An bsolute disgrace that completely spoilt what should have been something very special. Both ourselves and our hotel called the contact number several times on the following days, always unavailable. Shame on them as well as Viator for employing such a rip off local agent. Our hotel said this would never have happened if we had booked through them. It remains to see whether Viator are going to refund the money for failure to supply services that we contracted them for.

The tickets were supposed to be deposited at a drop off point for the entire day. We arrived at 10 am but the tickets were only deposited at 2 pm. A few hours before the tour we received an email informing us that the tour had been rescheduled from 12pm to 2pm so we couldn’t participate at all. There was no refund and no one was reachable on the service hotline. Worst experience ever!

The agency does offer tours but does not have tickets. So they try to get any tickets offered at midnight due to cancellations. There is a very limited supply of such tickets so it’s very unlikely that they get any. That’s why they cancelled on us on two consecutive days.
In the end they were able to get us two tickets but they couldn’t offer us a guide. We did get a refund for the guide but know that booking this tour does not guarantee an entry into the Alhambra.

Maria Jesus was a great tour guide. There were just 5 of us on the tour so was perfect, other tours I saw going round had huge numbers! Maria was so informative and knowledgeable but also great fun too, I learnt things about Granada and as well as the history of the Alhambra etc of course. I usually just buy a ticket to places and go round alone but really glad I chose to do this as a small tour. Your ticket also allows you to wander back around the gardens etc later on through the day too if you want. Thanks Maria, great tour!

Horrible. We got confirmation for our tour. We arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled time. None of the guides there had record of us. We asked numerous officials there and they couldn't help us. Ayatala tours (the group Viator contracted for us) is still trying to charge us. This is absurd. We didn't get anything from the event and they want us to pay. We found one official who said the tour company is terrible. We have done a couple of food tours through Viator in the past that went well. This experience was horrendous enough to make me not use them again. They have to be responsible for the companies they contract through. Even now I am getting numerous requests from Viator asking me how the tour was! Viator, there was no tour!!

As I managed to get a last minute ticket to visit the Alhambra on my own on the same day as the guided tour (without the Nasrid Palaces though), I visited everything I could between 9 am & 3 pm, and so when I joined the group at 3 pm for the guided tour, I only had the Nasrid Palaces left to see, and preferably on my own too. The guide understood that and was kind enough to just give my ticket and let me do what I wanted with it. So I didn’t actually follow the guide, and thus I can’t tell what the guided tour is actually worth, but I can tell that the guide was nice. I ended up paying about ten times the normal price for this all day at the Alhambra, which is enormous, but that’s how it works, everybody knows that you have to book your ticket weeks or months prior to your visit, which I could’t have done as I decided to go to Andalusia at the last minute, and so I accept that, and I’m actually quite happy that the number of visitors is regulated. Resellers do make a huge margin of these last minute tickets but it’s up to you to book your ticket in advance and pay 20€ rather than hundreds. This one is actually the least expensive I found, so there’s that.

Woke up the day of the tour to a message saying our tour was cancelled. Other tickets available for the day were $250 per person!
Ended up just going to visit the free entrance attraction. Very annoyed and disappointed.
The message received says we can request a refund but this is not shown on the booking page.
It is clear that tickets were not secured by the operator and they should be penalized for their irresponsible behavior.

A great tour, loved learning about the history and the architecture of the Alhambra! The only thing was we were notified at 4am on the day of that the tour would start half an hour earlier which was quite inconvenient for us and very late notice.

We never book any guided tour but for this specific place, we made a guided tour reservation and I am so glad we did it. Our guide Alfredo was amazing, knowledgeable, and super friendly. He had great sense of humor which made the tour even more fun. I highly recommend this booking service, you definitely need a guided tour for Alhambra.
