Our meeting point is called "Welcome Visitor Centre", 100 metres from the entrance pavilion to the Alhambra, 1 minute walk and next to the Hotel Guadalupe. Go to the souvenir shop on the ground floor from 9:00 to 18:00. If you are outside these hours, go to the offices on the first floor.

The attraction itself is a little extensive and long without options to drink or eat. The service from the tour provided was very good and audioguide tecnology was pretty good. My only suggestion will be to improve the audioguide system on how to identify the spots being described.

Since I didn’t book far enough in advance from the official Alhambra site, it was sold
out. Thankfully you can purchase tickets from third-party providers. Our problem was the ticket simply said 9:00 am. There wasn’t any mention of when the timed entry for the Nasarid Palace would be. As it turns out, it was at 11:00 am. This wouldn’t have been a problem except we booked a tour guide (after seeing the audio guide was rated 2.5 stars). We told the tour guide our tickets were for 9:00 am, which he took to mean the entry to the palace was at that time. When we showed up with an 11:00 am timed entry it was a problem (which he solved). So, the it would be best to get a ticket that lets you know in advance what time you need to be at the palace. As a warning, go early to the entrance gate. We saw a family turned away because they were 1’ late. They had been standing in a long line to get in. Finally, we did not have any problem finding the place to pick up the tickets. Just use the link they send and follow it. Although they say they open at 8:00 am, they would not give us our tickets until 8:15 am. No idea why. No one else was there but us.

It was great having the app on our phones. Needed to temporarily switch off auto lock to prevent it stopping every 30 seconds. The entrance to the nasrid palaces was a time slot but after that could spend the rest of the day seeing the rest. We booked 11am for the palaces (collect the ticket and audio guide password at 10:30 tomorrow have time to walk to the palace entrance queue.

I would have given 5 stars but due to poor email communication with the provider I can only give 4 stars.
The lady we dealt with at customer ticket pick up point was brilliant and very helpful.
Alhambra was a fabulous place and would highly recommend this tour.

Alhambra is an amazing site to see and we highly recommend seeing it, with a different tour provider. We bought tickets for a specific time slot to see the palace. When we arrived to collect the tickets, we giving a different time to enter the palace. The new time was too late. We had to get back to the bus to our cruise ship. The tour company has not returned my inquiries. Very disappointing. We have had such good tours with Viator in the past. Hopefully no one else falls victim to this particular tour agency.

As it is written on the voucher the time can be changed up to 12 hours before the visit. The tickets to the Alhambra are bought acording to the availability at the time you had made a reservation. If the there is any time change our agency contact you about it the day before so you can organise your day better.

Bring your passport to get in. If not your passport, pictice identification that is NOT electronic/digital. The entrance staff is very aggressive about not having your passport.

You need to collect your ticket before entering. This is not made clear by Viator. Although our start time was 8.30 we could not get into main palace until 12.30. We lined up early with our passports but they made us wait on side. Eventually got in 15 minutes early. There are private guides offering services at gate for 65 € but we saw everything at our own pace. Gorgeous gardens, lots of info guides to answer questions in multiple languages. It’s big and you need time, we preferred going together rather than a large tour.

Correct, before the visit you should stop at our visitor center to exchange your voucher for the official tickets and audioguide. 8.30 was the time to pick up the tickets at our office. Tickets are available the whole day, the only part that has a specific time to enter are the Nasrid Palaces - it is all acording to the availability while making a reservation and for you this time was at 12.30. Since there is a limited amount of people who can stay at the Palaces at the same time, they not let you inside before or after your time.

So the Alhambra Palace was stunning. However, this was the worst experience I've had using Viator (whom I have used previously on many occasions). Firstly, sure sure you read the small print AND TAKE ID WITH YOU. Two of our party were unable to get in because they forgot their passports and you WILL NOT GET INTO CERTAIN PARTS unless they have photo id. Secondly, if you take a taxi, make sure they drop you off at the right place. You can only get your tickets from the office. This is the only Viator trip I've done on which I've been unable to download the tickets to my phone. We got dropped off at the taxi rank and then had half a mile walk to the office to get the tickets. It's cobbled and quite a steep walk there and back. Thirdly, download the info to your phone when collecting your tickets, otherwise you have to return the listening device BACK to the office. There is no drop off point at the Palace. Lastly, this trip should notbe undertaken if you have mobility issues. There is no disabled access and there is a lot of going up and down steps. Having said that, it's well worth it if you can make it!

Although there are some information that you need to keep in mind while making a reservation through the agency.
There are various agencies who organise the guided tours/tours with audioguide of the Alhambra. For this reason you have to stop at the agency - in this case our Welcome Visitor Center - to pick up the entry ticket and fisical audioguide before your visit and of course bring the devices back to our office after the visit.
Alhambra sure is a big monument to walk around and it has two entrances. That is why is good to look twice about the taxi drop off to avoid extra walking. At the main entrance it is also possible to rent wheelchairs for people with mobility issues to make your visit more enjoyable. In this case of course the accees is a bit modified, due to mantioned stairs.

I bought a ticket and I had to provide ID number of all my family so I did. I went to collect my ticket to the office and the ID numbers were different to our ID cards. The lady in office didnt change it and we went to the entrance 2 of our group didnt let in dueto wrong number of the ID on the ticket. Alhambra beautiful but the stress with ticket terrible

Amazing gardens. We enjoyed exploring but were disappointed our time for the Nasrid Palace was so late. We had booked for 1200 but were given 1600 on the day. This was not very clear when booking that this could happen. We had driven from Seville and didn’t want to stay that late in the day.

Whilst the app was good, due to refurbishment and reconstruction the guide becomes frustrating when you cannot see things that the app states are "must see". Easy to use. Good descriptions. It poured down the Day we visited and that's definitely the weather to enjoy this wonderful place.

This was a great option that I happened to find at the last minute after a ticket mishap. I had no issues getting in, everything worked perfectly and I enjoyed my visit to the Alhambra which I have been wanting to do for decades!! Grateful for this audio tour!

So much to see. Lots of walking, plan to spend at least half a day. Wear comfortable shoes and bring some water. Guide was very knowledgeable and provided multiple opportunities to ask questions.
The gardens were amazing and in great condition.

DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. Our visit to Alhambra was a horrible experience with Viator. First, if you are planning to get this tour (recommendation is not to book through viator), bring a physical copy of your ID as they will be checking it upon arrival and at each of the four areas inside.
To get your tickets you will have to visit the office prior to entering the site. Generalife/Viator will be giving you physical tickets. Note: Despite booking a time for the tour, entrance into the Nasrid Palaces will be given to you by "Alhambra." We booked our self guided tour for 8:30AM however, they gave us a 2:00PM time to enter the Nasrid Palaces. It takes approx. 2 -3 hours to walk through the 3 other areas and they expect you to wait all day to gain entry into the Nasrid Palaces.
When I asked Viator if we can get an earlier time as we are travelling back to Seville (3 hours away), they held firm on not changing our time and expected us to wait all day at the Alhambra and waste our vacation time in Spain. They did not assist us in any way to help accommodate an earlier time. They prioritize group tour bookings, as they are able to charge more for guided group tours. Very poor customer service. To avoid disappointment please refrain from booking this.

Alhambra and the 2 parks were great. However the experience using this tour operator left much to be desired
We chose an unguided tour with audio. This became a problem as the park tour stops do not coincide with the naming and numbers of the tour operators. The tour operators map was difficult to navigate and became confusing. We were fortunate this did not apply to the Nazrid palace, only the other 2 parks.

That's really upset that you did not enjoy one of the unique monuments of Arabic Palaces 13th century. It is one of the most famous monuments of Islamic architecture and one of the best-preserved palaces of the historic Islamic world, in addition to containing notable examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture. Also from our staff we do not inform that the head has not be cover, is not a mezquita.

Gardens were in a terrible state. Is there anyone doing the gardens. History of site was memorable. Also tickets were for 11.00. But tickets to the main part was 19.00. Terrible.

The Alhambra is magnificent and we booked for 9am to beat the heat. However be warned that a day before they contact you to say you can enter at any time but the Nastrid palace tickets are now 6pm! So don’t book with the palace if you have an evening commitment or flight!

These are real tickets so don’t worry about getting scammed. We had no problems getting in just be aware of the time they give you for the palace. Audio guide… 3 stars, don’t forget your earphones since it is an app.

Late Sunday afternoon (less than 24 hours before the tour) we were informed by phone that the tour was starting about 4 hours earlier but we couldn’t change our car reservation. I called viator to cancel and was “tough luck”. Absolutely disgraceful approach to customer service.

However, the reservation voucher details that it is possible, due to the time of access to the Nasrid Palaces, to vary, with some advance notice, the time of access to the monument, so that they could see the four areas that they compose. In any case, you could visit the 3 remaining areas even after the preset time to access the Palaces.
In any case, we are extremely sorry for the disruption that this variation may have caused you.
