Itinerary

On arrival at La Cartuja Monastery (Monasterio de la Cartuja), you’ll admire the Baroque beauty of the building before navigating the ambient tangle of Albaicin, Granada’s charming Muslim quarter.

Ascend to the Plaza and Mirador de San Nicolás for spectacular views of the sprawling city. Follow the direction of your guide to see the dramatic silhouette of the UNESCO-listed The Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

The tour company did not have our reservation. We called to confirm the day before, and after we finally convinced them we'd prepaid for a tour, they had to scramble to find us a guide. They also did not provide us with an air-conditioned van as promised because they had booked so many tours- and this created extra walking for an 80 year old in our group. I still give it 4 stars because the actual tour guide was fantastic!
