The Sultan of Sites

Our guide was knowledgable and understood how to manage the pace with a family of five. He also wove in legends of the site that kept our kids more engaged. Alhamba has to be one of the most beautiful sites in the entire world - the Sultan’s palace is a stunning work of architecture and design. The guide and the site should be on everyone’s shortlist.

Great to have a private tour of Alhambra!

We were late in booking our tickets for Alhambra and opted for this private tour. Eva was a local and very knowledgable guide and we could do the tour at our own pace. We enjoyed the Nasrid Palaces the most. The Genalife was nice bit not of the sam dignity. We also enjoyed walking around Alcazaba ob our own after the tour.

Expensive but memorable tour

We booked for a three hour guided tour of the Alhambra as this was the only available option to visit during our visit, all other ticket options being sold out. The cost was ridiculously high relative to the actual ticket price and cost for a guide. So, our fault for not booking sooner! Putting the expense to one side, Juan was a very professional, informative and helpful guide. He was with us for just under three hours and did not seem to be just going through the motions, which must be difficult as he must have delivered the same information thousands of times.

Private Guide for a Fabulous Experience

Eve Marie is the most fabulous guide Her knowledge of history and stories from the past were fascinating. More than that I have mobility problems and she worked the tour around what i was able to do and I saw all the highlights and more. When I needed to rest she continued to provide history and tales fo the Alhambra. One of the most outstanding tours ever and I only wish that she was with us for al guided tours.

It was the only option we had if we want to visit Alhambra. Our first reaction was a little bit angry because the price, nobody likes to be under pressure during the holidays. Once we decided to book the tour, we accepted was the only way we could do it, so we changed our mood and prepared ourselves to enjoy it. The day arrived and everything was awesome, Carmen our guide is really a expert woman, since the very first moment we realized the price we've paid was direct related with high quality of the service. During 3 hours Carmen showed us every single secret spaces & details we admired the most, as she was a very good storyteller, we took a time machine and were transported to the past. With so kindness and professionalism Carmen made this tour a great journey just for us. So yes, the price is a little bit high, but is money worthl paid.

Our guide Lara was outstanding. She was very friendly, personable and charming while deeply knowledgeable about the history, culture, and the area generally. She is passionate about her work and it was so easy to catch her enthusiasm! Because of her we were able to skip long lines and avoid overly crowded areas. What a treat to have her as our personal guide- well worth the extra cost!

We throughly enjoyed our tour of Alhambra. Unfortunately, you sign up for this and then they tell you what time the tour will be. However, as it turned out our 3 pm. tour was ideal. Anyway, the structure is magnificent and our guide was totally kmowledgeable, friendly, and responsive.

Great tour,informative and enjoyable led my friendly and well informed guide. The only suggestion that I would make is that the guide be clearly identifiable on meet up and hold up the name of the tour party airport taxi style This would have avoided stress and delay at the beginning of tour.
