This vegan cooking class was truly the highlight of our Florence trip. Chef Giulio was absolutely incredible: warm, knowledgeable, & so much fun to learn from. He guided us step by step through preparing three different vegan pasta dishes, along with crostini, and made the whole experience feel both approachable and special. We had so much amazing food during our time in Italy, but this stood out above everything else. My partner and I even agreed it was the best date we’ve been on in our almost eight years together. Between the laughter, the hands-on cooking, and the unforgettable flavors, this was an experience we’ll cherish forever. If you’re visiting Florence, this vegan cooking class is an absolute must!!!!!

It was so great!! We had chef Julio and he was fantastic! He made making vegan pasta dishes from scratch fun & easy! Strongly recommend. We’d love to take another with him!

Fun and enjoyable cooking class for vegans and vegetarians. Good for all levels of cooking experience! We got to make three types of pasta, including long pasta, tortellini and gnocchi. All were delicious and Chef Vary expertly changed around the ingredients for the vegan versions. Would love to come back someday!

We had an amazing time learning how to make vegan pasta with Chef Giulio. We made three types of vegan pastas relying on simple techniques and fresh ingredients and Giulio catered the recipes to our personal tastes. At the end we got to eat all of the pasta and drink lots of wine. Highly recommend. One note for people looking to take this class in the future is that the class itself is not strictly vegan (our class was combined with the vegetarian class), so if it offends you to see animal products used, be warned.

The overall class was amazing! The instructor was really knowledgeable and shared helpful cooking techniques. We did both vegan and non vegan pastas in the class. It was quite a unique, fun and memorable experience!

Roberto was an excellent host and teacher who created a playful yet informative experience for us all!!! It was definitely one of our highlights of our trip to Italy and would do it again if ever in Florence in the future!!! The class was great! The ingredients and process were simple and can easily be replicated at home. Giulio was an amazing instructor. He gave clear instructions and his friendly demeanor made us feel at ease. I would definitely take a class here again the next time I’m in Florence!!

Great way to keep young adult children engaged in doing family outing. Our chef were great at explaining how easy it was to make fresh pasta (vegan option too). We made 3 wonderful sauces to go w/ 3 different pastas. Class also has GF for other students too. People in our group were fun , eat what you make at the end. Wine included! We closed the place down laughing & sharing stories after!

Irene is a fabulous instructor, and as I am vegan easily and respectfully accomodated me at every step! 2 of 3 of the pastas we made were completely vegan and the food was amazing. We learned a lot and the experience was engaging, fun, and everyrthing we hoped. She also took the time to make some excellent recommendations in Florence for the interests of each person in the class - from vegan food to jewelry to best cities to live in. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone!!

My husband and I did the vegan and vegetarian cooking class and loved it ! Chef Vary showed us the itialian way and we learned a bit about the culture more as well through cooking. The food we made was delicious !! She made us feel at ease that we would not mess it up. And comes with recipes at the end ! Would take her class again.

Great experience! We really enjoyed being able to learn different pasta making techniques, working with really fresh ingredients, as well as learning more about the Italian way of living! Being able to eat the fruits of our labor with a glass of wine was fabulous as well! Roberto was an excellent teacher!

Firstly, as per the description and previous reviews please be mindful this class isn't entirely vegan. However I did this class with my partner who is omni and it was a great experience. Two of the three dishes we cooked were vegan (the other was vegetarian). The food is cooked as group so you dont have to touch or prepare not vegan ingredients if youre not comfortable. It was such a great experience to learn how to cook authentic pasta and sauces. I can't thank our chef enough for his guidance, patience and expertise. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn how to make pasta from scratch.

Vary was wonderful. So energetic and keen to share her expertise. All the food we made was delicious- and we were mainly beginners being guided by Vary. As the description says, it is some vegan and some vegetarian food but Vary made sure that I (vegan) had plenty of choice! Would definitely recommend.

Despite saying the word ‘vegan’ multiple times, this class is NOT vegan and is only vegetarian. When the instructor found out I was vegan she chastised me for ‘not reading carefully enough’. She added an extra vegan pasta to the recipes we were cooking, which I appreciated, but was visibly annoyed.

I am appalled by this review bordering on defamatory, false and biased. The class is vegan and vegetarian! 2 vegan dishes and one vegetarian! The class is described in detail and in the description found expressly not only in the VEGAN and VEGETARIAN title (it seems already implicit) this: "The class includes vegetarian and vegan dishes (2 vegan and 1 vegetarian with eggs and cheese)" This guest clearly has n't read the program and given his attitude that I would define as not very "friendly" I decided to add an extra vegan dish. In conclusion, as scheduled, we had the following menu: vegan caramelized tomato spaghetti, vegan cavatelli with green turnip potatoes and black garlic, vegan gnocchi with radicchio and vegetarian pumpkin ravioli... So 3 vegan dishes, 1 vegetarian, extra coffee offered. I really want to specify all this, so that new customers know that this is truly a VEGAN and VEGETARIAN class (more vegan as you could see from the menu). What did he want?

Chef Vary really knows her stuff. We used only the freshest, in season vegetables and quality ingredients. She accommodated all of needs and issues in our private class for 3. Her "can do" style pushed my teen granddaughters to do the work and learn the techniques. When we ate our self made food they said, "This is the best food I have ever eaten!".
