Our driver, Karl, was entertaining and very informative. He did an amazing job even with some technical difficulties with the mic. Would definitely use Paddy Wagon again!

Long but beautiful bus ride through Wicklow Mountains to the ancient graveyard at Glendalough. Plenty of time to explore the graveyard and buildings, plus walk to the lake. Very enjoyable trip.
Was a great experience, bus driver was really nice. I believe his name was Ray Kelly. The view was amazing.
Very personable tour guide but it would have been nice to have more time at our stop at Glendalough!
Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the area. The hiking through the forest was very serene!
Our tour operator was amazing and infused equal parts of amusement and history into our ride around Glendalough :)
The activity of Glendalough and Wicklow was great, but the tour operator left a lot to be desired. First, the address they provide on Viator for the meeting point is wrong. Second, the bus didn’t have air conditioning. Third, our guide was awful. Unprofessional, clearly didn't want to be there and told us all as such multiple times.
It was good experience.. beautiful mountains beautiful lake overall good experience.will recommend to visit.
Beautiful afternoon for the mountains and the ancient cathedral at Glendalough but I am not sure I loved our drivers aggressive attitude to other road users.
This is a wonderful way to see Ireland. Great tour guide with Keith - funny, knowledgeable and informative.
We had a brilliant afternoon walking around Glendalough. We walked up to the upper lake and then got a drink before heading to the monastic village and then back to the coach.
Well worth a visit
This is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to be able to experience the mountains on my own and not so much a guided tour once we got there. Our driver, Michael, was informative during our drive and I appreciated that he didn’t talk during the whole drive. There were plenty of restroom stops along the way and food options. Bus was comfortable and had charging ports.
The meeting point was easy to find, the guide was informative, funny and helpful. He related the history of Glendalough and other sites on the way to there in an engaging and memorable way. The bus had air conditioning and the journey was pleasant, while the loughs were breathtaking.
Terrible. They drop you off with no instructions. You only have 2 hours. Most of that time you are trying to get your bearings and figure out where the attractions are at. By the time you do that you see little. The driver was rude. Yelled at passengers. Ranted about Free Palestine.
Unfortunately this tour didn’t meet expectations. 2nd stops he don’t stop at all. On top of that, the driver/guide spent a significant portion of the drive discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict , he saying support philistine , which felt inappropriate and unprofessional for a paid sightseeing tour.
We’d expect a guide to stay focused on the sites, history, and culture we’re there to see — not share personal political
The weather was so and sp so that decreased our lust to walk. The sights was nice but to travel with Mike (Michael) at PaddyWagon tour was even nice 😊 Music in the bus and lot's of laughter and interesting information made the tour to sheer joy! Five stars to him! // Kim & Lisbeth from Sweden
This was a great way to finish out our last day in Ireland. The afternoon option was perfect. It was a beautiful ride and our guide gave lots of good information and was funny.
Driver was excellent, provided a great deal of info and history. The sites were not the greatest. Wish the excursion would have included a drive around the village
Wicklow is one of my faves. Did this tour twice now. Wonderful trip out with amazing views and photo ops. Plenty of stops and time at each stop even with my handicap family. Walkers (not wheelchairs) worked well on the trails. Plenty of bathroom stops too. Love the roads, views, and history on this tour. As always, Paddywagon and guide are amazing. Highly recommend this tour. Bus is comfy and first come, first seat so arrive early.
Great experience. Guide gave clear directions and was very entertaining during the drive. Walking to the upper lake well worth the effort.
The bus driver and commentator (Gerry) was fantastic. Informative and humourous.
The St. Kevin ruins were beautiful and the walk to the two lakes was good. The scenery (mountains and forest area) were stunning.
Excellent amount of time in the woods and at the lake; we were able to hike, explore the monastic settlement and still enjoy a good 45 minutes of watercoloring. We were delighted to find a waterfall at the end of our hike. We also enjoyed the tour of Dublin city on the way, especially getting to go out one way and come in another.
Perfect way to get out of the city for a couple hours and into nature without having to devote an entire day to a tour. Great views. Fantastic driver/guide Rory! Super entertaining and funny and informational- made the trip far more enjoyable. He even waited a bit longer for some lost passengers that he didn’t have to wait for before heading back, great guy!
Lovely experience. Our tour guide poured his heart with excellent history and stories. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Dublin.
Nice to be able to do a half day trip and see a little of Ireland’s countryside. Driver was knowledgeable.
We thoroughly enjoyed the visitor center, monastery, and hike to the lower lake. Our bus driver was also our tour guide. Although he was hard to understand on the bus, he did a great job during his short walking tour explaining the entrance, the tower, the monastery, and offering options to do on our own. The destination was definitely worth the trip. Maybe we just aren’t used to driving in Ireland but our only complaint was his driving was more exciting than we would have liked.
Beautiful place! There are different lakes with different activity levels depending how athletic you are. Would have liked more time but it’s a long drive there and back so can only allow so much time. Dave had some funny commentary along the way and was helpful with directions around Glendalough.
Great experience, made all the more better by our top notch guide, Dave. Coach was comfy and the sights sublime. Highly recommend!
Very interesting, Collin was very good as tour guide. Wicklow mountains are so beautiful. Worth taking this trip. Drive out and back 1 1/2 hours each way. But scenery beautiful. When you stop make sure you get on first going back because people take your seats and you have to find other seats. Never had this happen before!!!
This was a great tour. Edwardo was funny the bus was air-conditioned. The park was so unbelievably pretty. It was absolutely worth venturing outside of Dublin for the experience.
Michael was the perfect guide for a laid back ride through the beautiful Irish countryside to the Wicklow Mountains. This was a wonderful experience for anyone looking to escape the city for the afternoon and still be back for a night out. The scenery was unbeatable and the park was easy to stroll through. We also really loved the local suggestions Michael gave for pubs and dining. Highly recommended!
