Extremely scenic and beautiful. Bring a camera and some good walking shoes. You will also learn a lot about the Wicklow and Glendalough areas, which was really nice.

Great way to see Wicklow and Glendalough without having to drive yourself. Derrick was a good guide and we had plenty of time at each spot. Be aware you might have people in your group doing a few different morning activities and may have to drop them off/pick them up before the hike. The upper and lower lakes in Glendalough were beautiful! I’d love to go back with more time in the future.

Linda was our guide. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. . Answered all our questions. We did a guided walk with Linda and she pointed out all the sights for us to view. She gave clear explanations of our agenda for the day. We had a wonderful experience. We ate lunch at Poppies and it was delicious. . We would definitely do another tour with Linda in the future.

We had a great day, good hike with Derek, who told us a lot about nature in the national park and about the landscape arount Carrickgollogan (the hill we climbed). We also had enough time around Glendalough Monastic Settlement to visit the Guiness Lakes.

Thank you very much Petra for the excellent review.

Julian was beyond amazing. She helped myself and my brother out by giving us local ideas, she helped us find a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. She truly went above and beyond. She was the highlight of our vacation. We couldn’t had asked for a better person. She is a gem. 10/10

Beautiful morning hike to see the best views of seaside and surrounding Dublin. Our guide was great and walked as he explained the history and flora and fauna indigenous to the area. Also, we really enjoyed lunch at poppies and afternoon hike exploring St. Kevin's monastery.

Thank you very much Kim for the excellent review.

The hike was under power lines most of the way, not a very pretty area, but the views at the top of the hill were nice. Totally not worth the time though.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you very much Sandra for the feedback and I have made note of this trail now.

The trip around and through Wicklow was scenic and beautiful with great weather. The hike was a good choice, but the pace very quick and we didn’t have very much time to take in the spectacular views. This trip has a few moving parts where people are participating in various activities. The biggest challenge was the van in which we traveled. The ventilation was not good and a majority of the time most of the full van could not feel cool or get very much air.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Hi Sandy, thank you for the feedback and I'll look into the air condition in the vehicles. I know we just had a few very warm days and make sure the guides us the AC. Irish people do not really use AC as usually there is no need.

In the description you don’t see that the tour is a mixed tour for people who are going for hourse riding, Powerscourt Gardens and hiking. I went for the “hiking” and actually picked this tour because of the option to hike for 1,5 hour. At the end it was not really a hike. We walked up to a little hill and to a tower. That took us 40 min. I was really disappointed. The guide was sorry for this and told me that this is the typical hike they do. It was not his fault and he gave me 10€ back. Still it was in my opinion too expensive for what I got. Especially because I checked other tours and they have been cheaper for the same. Wicklow mountains are nice to see and the visit in Glendalough okay. I thought our guide will give us some more information on this. The hikers had more than one hour lunch break which was too long in a village where is nothing to do.
So in total it was okay but I wouldn’t go again.

I had never heard of this place so it was definitely a shot in the dark. Was a beautiful ride over and the hike and walk-through park at Glendalough was magnificent. The guide Kevin P was very informative and helpful on the trip. Highly recommend this trip to get out of the city for the day.

Richard was a delight. Really enjoyed the places we stopped. The walk is manageable even if you don’t do a lot of trekking. Sadly, it was foggy for most of the day so we didn’t see a lot of the terrain in the distance. Once the sun came out, it was great. Monastery was interesting.
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Thank you very much for the excellent review and I'm delighted that you enjoyed your tour with Richard.
Nicole_Y, Jul 2024
Really lovely day out with a small group. Much better experience than the large bus tours offered to similar stops. Opted for the walk through nature, stunning! Only complaint would be too long in Enniskerry for lunch- could've used another hour in Glendalough, that part felt very rush, which was a shame. Would def book with this company again!
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Thank you very much Nicole for excellent review.
