We had the most wonderful private tour with Gillian! She was an excellent guide—warm, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions along the way. We especially liked exploring the beautiful Powerscourt Gardens and ending the day at the peaceful Glendalough Lake. We got to enjoy a local restaurant where we had a some delicious Irish dishes in a great atmosphere. It was the perfect day trip during our time in Dublin, and would definitely recommend this experience to friends traveling to the area!

We had the most wonderful private tour with Gillian! She was an excellent guide—warm, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions along the way. We got to enjoy a local restaurant where we had a some delicious Irish dishes in a great atmosphere. Linda was fantastic! She was willing to tailor the day to our requests and allowed us time needed to enjoy multiple stops, and still enjoy a delicious sit down lunch. She even added a sheep dog demo which our family really enjoyed to finish the day! Beautiful fun day not too far outside the Dublin area with a great guide who gives tons of background and history. Perfect for our last full day in Ireland!

we had a wonderful time. Linda was very knowledgeable of the area and tailored the trip to our requests. the scenery was beautiful. We had fog in some areas but still had a great time. We liked having a small van with just our group, 6 passengers.

We had a full day private tour starting at the beautiful Powerscourt Gardens then we visited the Wicklow Mountains National Park and had many opportunities to take some great photos. We stopped for a nice lunch at the Wicklow Heather restaurant and then finished up visiting the monastic site in Glendalough as well as the lakes. All in all it was a very nice way to spend the day outside of Dublin.

The Wicklow forest was so beautiful and clean! We had a really good time with our guide Linda and enjoyed stopping for lunch at a great little shop called Poppy’s.

Extraordinary tour with Gillian as our guide. This was a private tour and was so worthwhile! We were so lucky to have Gillian to ourselves as she is extremely knowledgeable and shares the beauty stories, history and information of all locations. A very cultured and smart woman. Kevin provided us a remarkable tour - we had a private tour so he adjusted the itinerary to suit us with our teen grandkids. Powerscourt is gorgeous - even ran into Rob Lowe there! Bonus! Wickelow mountains are stunning. Kevin gave us so much history and information. He made this adventure so interesting and fun! We had a sunny day that made it even better!

We had a nice day touring Powerscourt gardens, Wicklow and the Glendaloughs. Weather held up well as we had some sunshine and no rain. Conor was a very good guide and explained sites and their histories. The only minor negative from the trip was that with a family of four adults we were expecting transportation in an mpv which we had with similar private day tours on several other excursions over a weeklong holiday in Ireland. In Conor's sedan we sat as a cramped 3 in the rear seat with one alongside Conor in the front passenger seat. Otherwise the trip was very good and is recommended.

My husband Jeff and I had a wonderful day with Dermot exploring this magical area of Ireland. Our guide, Dermot, made the time fun with his Irish tales and knowledge. It was a sunny Saturday with many people on the roads and Dermot drove with great caution. We recommend this company for all your private tour needs in Ireland.

Our Wicklow mountains, Powerscourt and Glendalough tour from Dublin was everything we had hoped it to be and much more. Our tour guide, Kevin was engaging, enthusiastic and glad to share all of his knowledge of the area. We liked walking through the Powerscourt gardens and around Glendalough lakes, and all the scenery along the way.

Gillian was our tour guide and I give her a 10 out of 10. She was the only one of our Viator guides that used a microphone so it was easy to her her narrate things. She took use several places and gave us plenty of time to explore. The place she stopped for lunch was delicious and had a big menu to choose from. I had the cornbeef and cabbage. This was a very enjoyable day and I highly recommend the tour

Gillian was so wonderful. We had a group of 6 spanning 3 generations and we all loved the day. Gillian is top notch, she was so knowledgeable and personable and made the day fun. We felt very well taken care of and we learned so much about the area at each of the stops. Would recommend this tour with Gillian to anyone.

Terry was very friendly and informative. He first took us to Powerscourt, where he saved us on the entry fee cost. Powerscourt was beautiful as we strolled through the gardens and grounds. We then headed through Wicklow National Park, which has fantastic scenery. Terry then took us to Glendalough. We visited St. Kevin monastery and then walked to both lakes. On the way back to Dublin, Terry took us along the coast. It was a great day and well worth it.

Beautiful scenery. The Powerscourt gardens were spectacular even though we were early in the season. Glendalough was an interesting and pretty place. We had an enjoyable day with Conor. He personalized the tour to meet our interests.

Driver came 30 minutes late. Van journey was extremely uncomfortable . We didn’t get to have lunch till 5.30. We were famished. Driver John was not flexible to accommodate our request to see a close by attraction inspite of asking few times. Not at all flexible and not worth taking it. Places were extremely beautiful but didn’t get enough time to spend there. We were rushed everywhere.. total disappointment!!!

These remarks are just not accurate. John contacted me on the morning of your tour and told me he was running late due to unusually heavy traffic and had rang you to let you know. There is absolutely no reason why you couldn't have stopped for lunch at any time on your own private tour. You could have spent as long as you wish in any place again your private tour. You fail to mention that the weather wasn't great and after you had done the tour you requested a refund after the event. If you had contacted me before the tour we could have arranged an alternative date or refund. This is a bad tactic because I refused your refund.
Sorry you didn't enjoy your tour.

Our driver Matt. was fantastic! He was so. knowledgeable, friendly and courteous!
He was especially good with my 80 year old Mom and 79 year old aunt.

The guide was informative and the locations had interesting history but I would not recommend based on my interest level. When booking excursions I had to guess which ones would interest a multigenerational family of 6. We all agreed we could have skipped Glendalough. It was the last stop of the three.

We had a great day. The weather was perfect and our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about Wicklow and the history of the locations we went to. He provided great details along the way and suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch tucked away in a tiny village in the Wicklow mountains. Delicious food! Beautiful countryside! Excellent tour!!
