This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Zach, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. The views during the hike were amazing and you get to see a mix different terrains. We got to see some dolphins and a seal as well along the cliffs. We highly recommend this. Zach was very engaging and personable. He even recommended a super place to eat a delicious meal and arranged our reservation.

We just completed a coastal hike with Sean. What a wonderful experience! Sean was so informative with history of Ireland and the scenery as we walked. The views were stunning and we would have never found these areas on our own. So happy about our choice to book!

Good exercise, lovely views, and learned a bit about Irish culture. We had good weather (sun was even shining), so that was a bonus. I was traveling by myself, and this group excursion worked out well. Very glad I signed up for it. Leonie (our guide) did a terrific job! I did wish that it had started earlier in the day so that it could be a morning (eg, 10-1) or afternoon (eg, 1-4) activity, rather than midday activity.

Fantastic hike with great views! Zack was an amazing tour guide that immediately learned everyone’s names and talked with everyone during the hike to learn a little bit about each of us. He also checked in with us multiple times during the hike to make sure we were doing ok throughout the hike, & shared history of the area during the hike.

Zach, Liam, and, of course, Loki the pup were a knowledgeable and amiable team, who led us on a fabulous adventure through their scenic locale. The sights were beyond beautiful. This experience was absolutely a top highlight of our time in Ireland. If you’re considering, just do it!

Our tour guide Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable! He took us off the beaten path and took us to places we never would have found ourselves, was able to tell a lot of interesting information about the wildlife, and gave us amazing restaurant and live music recommendations.

The hike is strenuous and you should be prepared for all sorts of weather. Many of the trails were steep and rocky and muddy. The guide was extremely knowledgeable.

Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable and took great care to make sure that everyone was ok. People need to be aware that there are some very steep hiking sections at the beginning.

Wonderful hike! Walk through village and then to cemetery and then on up, up, up through hills of heather and grouse. Do wear long pants and jacket as it is windy on top. Then down the cliff walk for incredible views. Sean was great guide telling us all
About the history of the area along with plants. This is NOT a leisurely stroll. A bit over three hours. Highly recommend

It was fast-paced, uphill hiking. I would have much prefered a slower pace, especially with how steep it was. The views around the edge (the cliffs) were the best. But not a long time to take in the views.

My daughter and I did this tour while visiting Dublin and we loved it! It was really easy to get to Howth via the Dart train and the minute we arrived in Howth, we fell in love with this adorable village surrounded by the most incredible views. Matt, our tour guide, led us on our hike while sharing the rich culture and history of the area. He was an EXCELLENT guide and attended to the group in a very thoughtful manner. The hike itself was moderately challenging with many types of terrains and inclines and incredibly BEAUTIFUL!

From beginning to end, this experience was wonderful! Our hike was moderately strenuous, and our guides Zack and Liam (and sweet Loki - our four legged guide!) did an excellent job pacing our group which included a wide range of ages. We were on the move for over three hours. We saw stunning views of cliffs, water, and community. Zack and Liam were exceptionally kind and friendly as they taught us about the history of Howth. We loved the fantastic photos and video Zack sent us later which helped us relive our experience.
One day was simply not enough, and this vibrant community left us wanting more! It is just a short train ride from Dublin, and we would highly recommend this guided tour to anybody coming to Ireland!

The guides are very knowledgeable and patient. Be prepared to walk a lot, where long sleeves and long pants with socks to avoid getting pricked by the plants. It rains a lot so be prepared for a change in weather, stepping in mud. Always bring a positive attitude, take lots of pictures and enjoy a great meal afterwards.

This was the best tour I've ever had! The guide, Zack, was genuinely nice, and you could feel the love for nature and his town. The history, the stories, the paths we took, the views, were all insightful and magical, there is so much fauna and flora, it was fascinating!
I was looking for some nature outside Dublin, close by, reachable on my own by train, and not crowded, and I’m so happy of my choice.

Zack was our single and handsome hiking guide and took us elderly women on a wonderful hike around Howth. His travel company Howth Adventures is family owned and Zach is fourth generation Irish from Howth. We saw all kinds of beautiful plants and trees and birds and we hiked up to the highest point in Howth with a spectacular 360 degree view of Dublin and Dublin Bay and Bull Island and Ireland’s Eye and Lambay Island. Baily’s Lighthouse. Zach was full of stories and local lore.
