The day was great! Jonathan was very helpful and checked on us often (the altitude is a factor).They picked us up from our hotel, and it’s a great deal with breakfast and lunch (at a great local spot). The drive there was beautiful. The walk is strenuous; wear proper shoes and bring water and snacks. Great day!!

It was a great and very informative tour. Be aware of the different circuits of the excursions. We were lucky to get number two which was not as strenuous. There are different levels: 1 hard, 2 medium and 3 easy. It refers to how much walking/hiking it requires.

The trip is pretty tiring, starting from my hotel in Cusco at 5 am until 8 pm when I returned the hotel . Most of the time was spent on the way or waiting the train or bus. The queues for the bus from Machu Picchu railway station to the site entrance (and back) were incredibly long, each lasted more than 30 minutes. My guide John is very nice and professional. And he is a good photographer, too! The site itself is wonderful, although I had less than two hours to go through everything. Still, I recommend it.

Was not happy with the way company handled the tour. Supposed to be the full day tour; actual tour was about 2 hours and then being left in Aqua Caliente for longs hours.
Uncomfortable long driving back from hotel and back, 2 hours each way, it was exhausting... The whole tour was very poorly organized; their "delicious" food turned out to be average and scarce. Would not recommend.

Esta información está disponible para garantizar una planificación adecuada.
* Comodidad del Transporte: Se te proporcionó una camioneta espaciosa con capacidad para pocas personas, lo que normalmente asegura un viaje cómodo. Nos sorprende tu afirmación de incomodidad, ya que priorizamos la comodidad de nuestros pasajeros.
* Horarios del Tren y Estancia en la Ciudadela: Tu tren de retorno estaba programado para la tarde, no para la noche, por lo que no deberías haber esperado "largas horas" en Machu Picchu. Además, es importante recordar que, por regulaciones del sitio, el tiempo máximo permitido dentro de la ciudadela es de tres horas. Este tiempo es estrictamente supervisado y fue respetado durante tu visita guiada.
* Circuito 2 y Tu Comentario: Entendemos que tu principal frustración pudo haber sido no poder realizar el Circuito 2. Sin embargo, como se te informó al momento de la reserva, este circuito ya no estaba disponible debido a la alta demanda y el tiempo con el que reservaste. Esperamos que esta situación no sea el motivo detrás de una reseña que no refleja el servicio que se te brindó.
Nos gustaría reiterar que cumplimos con todos los servicios contratados:

Amazing day, very time scheduled. We got picked up around 8:25 am, the driver was on time waiting at hotel. It was about a 2 hour drive to the train station, we got there about 15 mins before our train was scheduled to depart, the train left on time, 11 am. The train was smooth, very clean & nice scenery. The train ride was about 1 hour & 40 mins. Once we arrived in Aguas Calientes, there was a guide waiting outside the train station to take us to where the bus leaves, we waited about 30 mins. Once we got on the bus, it was about a 30 min ride to Machu Picchu entrance. Once we arrived to there, the guide, Edwardo, was waiting for us. He was soo amazing!! Very kind & patient, spoke English well. He helped my mother to walk up & down the stairs. She was having some trouble via altitude in the beginning but adjusted after walking around Machu Picchu. Edwardo understood this & took his time with us. He took great pictures & videos of us. Edwardo taught us a lot of the history of Machu Picchu. We were on the last tour for the day, it ended at 5 which is the time Machu Picchu closes so Edwardo came back with us on the bus & showed us where the restaurant was located for included meal which was nice of him to do. Once we finished our meal, we had to get the train back. The same driver was waiting for us outside the train station to take us back to our hotel. I would recommend this company, they organized everything very well, they got all the tickets for us and made it hassle free to visit such a beautiful, popular site.

We only had a couple hiccups with our trip, but overall it was wonderful. The driver was right on time in the morning and dropped us off at the train station. It was quite a wild ride, but we made it in record time. The train was good and our guide was waiting on the other end. We were surprised to find out that our Machu Picchu tickets were set for 8am, when we wouldn’t even arrive to Aguas Calientes on our train until 8:20, plus the 30 minute bus ride to the top. We ended up getting to the top by about 9 or so after waiting for bus and in by 9:15 or so after waiting in a long line at the top. This was distressing to us and clearly distressing to our guide as there is a 30 min window listed clearly on the ticket. Once inside, our guide did an amazing job teaching us a lot and taking great photos for us. We were so happy to be in a small private group. The lunch was good and we had a few minutes to shop around a bit. We easily made it back to the train. We had tickets on the way home that did not have our entire group together, which was curious, since we had booked the tour more than 4 months in advance. Upon returning to train station on the way home, we walked through the crowd of drivers twice and couldn’t find ours. I was able to message the agency and they responded quickly. The driver had not sent any communication until I reached out to the travel agency on WhatsApp. I would recommend the private tour as it did make things very easy, just working out a few kinks and it would have been perfect!

Super well organized tour. Every moment so worth it. This is as the main reason for coming to Peru our first time and this tour exceeded our expectations. Rubi was so informative and answers all our questions. The train was a nice experience with beautiful views on our way to Machu Picchu. You must do this activity.

Knowledgeable guide. Spectacular views best I've seen in my life. The guide new exactly what vantage points to take us to. The pick up person provided an envelope with all our tickets and explained everything very well. The train ride was terrible. There was a strong odor of gas all the passengers in our car were feeling ill our eyes were burning that we could barely open them. On the way back the train was almost 3 hours late. All the locals were shocked this happened so I would highly recommend this trip as we believe the train break down was an anomaly. This was a trip of a lifetime.

We would like to clarify that train schedules to Machu Picchu are set by the railway companies (PeruRail and Inca Rail) and not by our agency. These schedules are fixed and are the only ones available to arrive at Machu Picchu in time for your visit.
To ensure all our passengers have enough time to enjoy the citadel and meet their return train schedules, departures must be coordinated with train availability. This is especially important on a full-day excursion like yours.

I would certainly come back to Machu Picchu, what an amazing sight! Our tour guide Eduardo was good, but kind of strange to literally washed his hands of us after he led us to the restaurant for lunch. We gave him a good tip too (before heading to lunch)! I think the price is a little expensive for the tour. If I were to go again, I would purchase individual tickets. We had 5 people, costing us $1800 USD.

We would like to inform you that, as an agency, we always strive to offer the best possible rates to our passengers. However, prices for Machu Picchu tours, especially train tickets, vary significantly depending on the season.
We are currently in high season in Peru, which runs from May to October. During these months, demand for tourist services is very high, and train companies (PeruRail and Inca Rail) apply a fare increase of up to 10%. This adjustment to train fares is common practice for train companies during peak visitor periods.

The tour guides and drivers themselves were good and seeing Machu Picchu was great, however, I highly recommend AGAINST using this private company for this tour. Please use another company. This company entered incorrect information in the travel tickets for literally every single category for my friend traveling with me, lied about it, and when we were denied entrance at Machu Picchu because of it they tried to gaslight us into making it look like our fault. They listed my female friend from South Korea as a male from China, and gave her a different circuit number for the trip from me (which is a huge deal we found out), and then they accused me of making the mistakes which made no sense. I clearly know the sex and nationality of my travel partner…and they made the reservations, not us. Because of their mistake (that they never admitted or apologized about), we had to wait for over an hour in the heat outside because the entrance guards wouldn’t let us in with this incorrect information. During the journey to Machu Picchu, I told all our guides about the incorrect information on her ticket and I even had a long discussion on WhatsApp with the company and they told me several times that everything would be fine and there will be no issue. Well, there was a huge issue and this company offered ZERO help and took ZERO responsibility. They also denied our request for a refund which is ridiculous because the tour guide still asked for 50 Soles at the end of the tour. Machu Picchu is great but this company is a scam. Use another company. No one from this company even apologized once, they just pretended like nothing happened.

Originalmente, su reserva correspondía al Circuito 2 de Machu Picchu. Posteriormente, al solicitar incluir a un acompañante para la misma fecha, le informamos que el Circuito 2 ya no tenía disponibilidad. La única opción disponible para ambos era el Circuito 1, el cual se les indicó debían realizar.
Sin embargo, comprendemos que usted manifestó su deseo de no realizar el Circuito 1, lo que generó una situación tensa y, lamentablemente, puso en una posición difícil a nuestro guía. Finalmente, se logró que ambos realizaran el Circuito 2 y en dos idiomas como usted solicitó y nosotros accedimos.
En cuanto a su comentario sobre el ingreso a Machu Picchu, adjuntamos capturas de pantalla que evidencian que la nacionalidad de su acompañante no se encontraba registrada en la plataforma del Ministerio de Cultura. Es importante aclarar que el inconveniente no se debió a un error nuestro, sino a la información registrada en el sistema oficial. Lamentamos profundamente que interprete esta situación como una negación de ingreso por nuestra parte basada en un error de nacionalidad. Le pedimos tener precaución al realizar acusaciones que no se ajustan a los hechos.
Agradecemos su opinión, ya que nos ayuda a mejorar nuestros servicios. Sin embargo, con respecto a su solicitud de reembolso, debemos informarle que no podemos acceder a ella. Todos los servicios asociados a su reserva, incluyendo los boletos de tren (con un costo de 150 USD por persona), boletos de autobús, entradas a Machu Picchu, transporte y los honorarios del guía, fueron adquiridos y pagados en su totalidad. Su opinión parece estar directamente relacionada con nuestra negativa al reembolso.

Excellent coordination by the organizers. We received an envelope the previous Day evening with all our tickets left with hotel personnel. The pickup was right on time, it was our family and one other co-traveler. The car ride was smooth to the train station which is about 2 hours from Cusco. The train ride was comfortable to agua calientes and once we exited we had a tour guide who stayed with just our family and gave a personal touch to the entire experience of machu Pichu. It was raining halfway through the tour of the place that has so much of in a history. I was impressed with the overall experience that I booked two other tours in different locations with them. Kudos and keep it up.

Cannot recommend this tour enough! I was a little bummed when I originally booked this tour. Because we booked so late, I didn’t think we would be able to get the circuit that we wanted and we would just end up getting whatever was leftover for that day, but we put in a little note when booking (not hoping for much), and we were able to get the circuit we wanted! This seriously made my entire South America trip and I’m so glad we went with this tour. It ended up being a private tour (not sure if that’s normally how it works), which was amazing because we got to ask all of the questions. Our guide, Shawn, was excellent! He was super knowledgeable about everything and was great at helping us get all of the perfect-spot photos. He was patient with our little group (we’re slow walkers 😅) and spoke English really well. He guided us through the sections of the tour where we would be on our own (just the train), and made sure we knew where to go. Thanks again for an amazing trip! I 100% recommend this tour.
