If you are visiting Cusco, this chocolate-making class is an absolute must! Our family had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. The class was engaging, interactive, and incredibly fun as we learned about the entire cacao process—from bean to bar.
The team made the experience both educational and entertaining, and getting to create our own chocolates was such a memorable highlight. It was the perfect blend of culture, hands-on learning, and delicious fun.
This was truly one of the highlights of our time in Cusco. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience while visiting the city!

We had a lot of fun learning about making chocolate and where they come from. We tasted things along the way and learned a little history behind Cacao beans in Cusco. And at the end, we also got to make some to take back with us.
I made a reservation but it’s probably not necessary (I’m just a planner), as there were several spots a day. There is also a little chocolate shop you can buy chocolate from and you can watch them make chocolate in the little factory they have there.
This was so much fun and we learned so much! Would highly recommend to anyone in Cusco. I have done chocolate making classes and other cities and I have never had the opportunity to literally start from roasting and go through the whole process
I highly recommend this outing. The instructor was friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating. We started on time but late-comers were welcomed. We also finished on time, making it easier for me to get to the airport! The chocolate we made was delicious, my friend said it was the best she had ever tasted!
Such a fun way to learn about the chocolate making process. Fun for all ages and a great activity to do when adjusting to the altitude in Cusco.

Anna did an amazing job engaging the group and keeping us entertained. We learnt a lot about the process of extracting and processing chocolate. We also got to have lots of chocolate and make our own chocolate to bring home, which was a ton of fun! Really family friendly.

Fantastic and informative experience, well worth the time. Had a lot of fun with the teacher and fellow travelers! Make sure you look at the accurate location-it’s at the store location heading up to San Blas, not near the main town square.
It was a nice class but a bit confusing at the beginning from the receptionist. It's not easy grinding chocolate beans, but i had a great time. It's not something that I would do again though..
I love chocolate but didn’t know much about it. This class was informative, hands on and hilarious! Our group and instructor were so much fun. It was a blast and is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this experience! It was so much fun and interesting as well. The person leading the workshop was so great and made it such a cool experience. We were so engrossed the whole time. The chocolate is also really delicious and great quality! Highly recommend doing this workshop while in Cusco!!

It's a very fun hands on experience. You learn the chocolate making process from start to finish and go home with some very delicious chocolates. Our instructor Antonio was very charming and our whole group enjoyed the experience.

This was THE most fun we have had in a long time. Our instructor was over the top funny. Very educational. A good event while adjusting to the altitude

We had such a fantastic experience at this chocolate-making class in Cusco. Honestly, it was so much better than expected. We learned so much about the history of chocolate in South America, from its ancient roots to how it’s prepared today, and it was presented in a way that was fun, engaging, and truly interactive.
Miguel was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely connecting. He made the experience feel personal and alive, not like a typical tourist activity. My husband, our friend, and I were all completely engaged the whole time and had an absolute blast.

This was an excellent workshop and a lovely way to spend a couple hours learning about the chocolate making process. It was great fun, very relaxed and even better was making the different flavours of chocolates to take home with you. Thoroughly recommend this workshop.

The class includes interesting cultural and historical background well mixed in with lots of hands on fun! We came in exhausted after a 15hour overnight flight and needed an afternoon activity to engage the tired teens - this totally fit the bill. We learned, we laughed, and in the other reviews I haven’t seen enough people mention just how DELICIOUS the chocolate is from the Chocomuseo!
