Jeel was so funny and informative! Very interactive. Making our own chocolate to take home was so much fun. What a yummy experience! 😋 I would recommend this to anyone that loves to have a good time with hands on experience.

If you are visiting Cusco, this chocolate-making class is an absolute must! Our family had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. The class was engaging, interactive, and incredibly fun as we learned about the entire cacao process—from bean to bar. The team made the experience both educational and entertaining, and getting to create our own chocolates was such a memorable highlight. It was the perfect blend of culture, hands-on learning, and delicious fun. This was truly one of the highlights of our time in Cusco. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience while visiting the city!

We had such a fantastic experience at this chocolate-making class in Cusco. Honestly, it was so much better than expected. We learned so much about the history of chocolate in South America, from its ancient roots to how it’s prepared today, and it was presented in a way that was fun, engaging, and truly interactive. Miguel was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely connecting. He made the experience feel personal and alive, not like a typical tourist activity. My husband, our friend, and I were all completely engaged the whole time and had an absolute blast. If you’re in Cusco and even slightly interested in chocolate or cultural history, don’t miss this. One of our favorite experiences of the trip!

The class includes interesting cultural and historical background well mixed in with lots of hands on fun! We came in exhausted after a 15hour overnight flight and needed an afternoon activity to engage the tired teens - this totally fit the bill. We learned, we laughed, and in the other reviews I haven’t seen enough people mention just how DELICIOUS the chocolate is from the Chocomuseo!

Totally enjoyable. The instructor did a great job explaining the differences between the different cacao plants and the whole process of turning the beans into chocolate. We did our own roasting and grinding which was turned into a drink. Using their tempered chocolate we got to mold up whatever type of chocolate we wanted too take with us. Totally fun experience.

Interesting, fun way to spend a couple easy hours in Cusco on the first day (when adjusting to altitude). My husband and I did this. Group was just 6 people, guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Plus - chocolate! :)

The class was fun and the host was funny. We ate a lot of chocolate. Beware buying from Viator using Rakuten. My 20% cashback was denied by Rakuten as they claimed Viator refused to pay. And Viator claims Rakuten is at fault. Either way, there was no cashback given.

Great experience at the Chico Museum! Learned the steps to making chocolate from picking the cacao to molding the chocolate. Renco was a fantastic instructor and kept everyone engaged the entire time. We came home with a lot of chocolate!
