Amazing adventure

Our tour guide Oz was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We even got to see a 4000 plus year old olive tree. It was an amazing adventure.

Anna was outstanding!! She is very knowledgeable about wines and the local wineries in Chania and across Crete. Had a fabulous time, learned a lot and she was also great to talk to. As someone who works in the industry (part time) I learned a few things as well. Highly recommend this tour to anyone! Food pairings complemented the wines - might not suit everyone’s tastes but they were appropriate.

Anna was awesome! She shared 6,000 years of history in 10 minutes to help us appreciate Crete’s political experience and its impact on the people and wine industry. She’s a trained sommelier, US born so her English is perfect to American ears 😊, grew up speaking Greek at home and is clearly respected here now that she’s moved to Crete. The small group experience was awesome. While my husband and I were initially focused on the wine, the olive oil education and tasting were a valuable bonus. Highly recommended!

A break from the Beach

We were based on west side of Chania so our guide picked us up near our apartment. We went to two different vineyards and tasted 10 different wines. Our guide also gave advice on assessing them. The drive through the countryside and the hills gave us a sample of the beauty of the country. A very enjoyable afternoon.
