The tour was just one of a kind! Dimitri and Andreas, our tour guides had a good knowledge and could explained everything in details. They have great sense of humor too so we had plenty of lough. We started from Olive Oil Factory where we learned about the production of olive oil and testing. Next we went to the cheese factory where we could also taste few sorts of cheese (very tasty). Next we had a snack and Raki in a local bakery and next we reached the winery. We tasted few wines and learned about the wine. the last stop was lunch in a local village where Maria, the best cook in Chania region prepared for all of us delicious food! We had plenty of fun and could meet great people. The tour was worth every cent! Thank you G S Tours Chania ltd - Fabulous Crete for an unforgettable experience.

A great snapshot of the Cretan countryside and villages.

I really enjoyed this little tour. The guide was very relaxed and had a broad range of knowledge about the vegetation, the economics and the history of Crete. It was interesting to see wine and cheese production and I found the visit to the museum particularly enjoyable. The lunch was passable and plentiful. Well worth doing if you don't want to drive everywhere and miss so much, because your eyes are glued to the road! We don't have all those hairpin bends in London.

Good day and lunch

This was probably one of the best tours I have been on so far. It was a great day from start until end with stops in different local shops such as a bakery, where we welcomed with freshly baked Cretan delicacies followed by tasting a locally produced olive oil and one or two Raki shots in between you cannot escape Rakin when in Crete. Other stops were a museum, a cheese factory and a winery and a lunch at a small restaurant in a village. Our great tour guide was Dimitrios, who did a wonderful job entertaining and sharing his broad knowledge about Crete! Highly recommended!

This was a 5 star tour. We were the only two in the group and had a private car with an excellent English speaking Cretan guide. He gave us a private tour of a typical family home that had been converted to a museum and we went to a local winery where we tasted several local wines with olives, cheese and bread snacks. We then went to a small family restaurant in a small village where we had the most delicious lunch with home made wine. This tour was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We started with a driving tour to the museum so we received a better overall view of part of Cretan. We went to a very small museum which was interesting because it was what a home looked like 100 years ago. Then onto a small local cheese factor. The wine tour was amazing and worth doing. We had a great meal after and then back to where we were staying. Very relaxing and interesting.
