This was a great tour and we just had so much fun! If you've never been on a segway before, don't worry, you're given instructions and practice before you start - it was easy to use and you'll have a really fun time! Very safe and would highly recommend - we loved it!

We absolutely enjoyed our tour, and learning how to ride a Segway. I am 71 years old and found it easy to ride. It was really a lot of fun! The instruction before hand was excellent! Touring the old town & learning some of the history was fantastic too!

First time ever to ride a Segway. They did a great job getting us to feel comfortable and in control. We were able to see a lot in a short amount of time and had a blast doing so.

Learn and hear nothing

This is a pre-recorded tour that we could not hear because you don’t stop for many of the sights, and you’re so busy trying not to hit things and people that you cannot focus on the recording most of the time, and you can barely hear it over all the street noise. Making things worse, our tour guide, while polite, was always on her phone and made clear she did not want to interact when we stopped. We learned nothing about the town and I am debating requesting a refund because it was a waste of time.

As noted in the tour description and booking platform (Viator), the role of the accompanying staff member is not that of a licensed tour guide, but rather to ensure safety and coordination throughout the tour. Regarding the audio, we understand that street noise can be a challenge in a lively city environment, and we are actively exploring ways to improve sound clarity and enhance the experience for our guests. We also regret to hear that you felt the onboard assistant was unengaged. While they are not responsible for delivering historical commentary, they are there to support guests during the ride, and we will follow up internally to ensure our team continues to provide a welcoming presence. If you think this would be both fun and informative, well, it's not quite either. Riding a segway is fun ... unless you're going through extremely busy narrow streets with tons of people. Then it's nerve-racking and you're worried about hitting people a lot. She even takes you through the middle of outdoor restaurants a few times. The historical part is on tape and really basic and of marginal interest. That the guide themselves don't even give the talk is pretty lame.

I am so sorry that you didn't enjoy your tour. Usually, we make sure we provide a good segway practice for everyone to feel comfortable before the tour. Furthermore, the tour leader is not a licensed tour guide so she is not allowed to provide historical information. A licensed tour guide could have been provided if requested with an additional cost.
