Our driver will meet you just outside Costa Maya Port’s main access—look for Gabriel or Ruth holding a banner with your name. Pick-up is 1 hour after your ship docks (earliest 9:00 AM Ship Time). Please arrive at the taxi meeting point 10 minutes early.

The view was great, easy to get to, and the staff were fantastic. The food was very good as well. Getting a taxi at the end of our day took 5 min, so we made it back to the ship in plenty of time. When we come back to this port, we would do this again.

Excellent little get away. Had our own private driver throughout the entire day. Our beach was cleaned of debris. Our food was good and authentic. We even paid extra for beach massages. Everyone spoke good English. The only slight downfall is having to walk outside thr port area and try to find the right person who is your guide for the day. They brought us as many drinks and plates of food directly to the beach as we could consume.

The food was excellent and so were the drinks! They had a well stocked bar of different drinks including water and soda. The nachos were delicious and the fish tacos were out of this world! The people were very friendly and kept coming over to make sure we didn't need anything. Although we had to walk out of the port and we really didn't know where to go, we just kept asking the taxi drivers in the area and they pointed us in the right direction. We felt very safe and had a great time! If we are ever in Costa Maya again we will certainly return to this hidden gem!

Beach area was not very big, had plenty of of sea weed floating and on the shoreline before walking into the water. No snorkel at this beach.
The food was good, service from the staff was great.
I would not return in the future. Try a different place.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the food and the friendly service from our staff. Regarding the seaweed, it’s quite common across the Caribbean during the summer months. While it’s not harmful to humans, we understand it can affect the beach experience. Our staff clean the beach every morning to welcome our guests with the best conditions possible.
As for snorkeling, the coastline here is shallow and perfect for relaxing in the calm waters, but snorkeling is only possible further out by the reef. For guests interested, there are snorkeling tours available on site that take you to those areas.

Getting through the port is exhausting and confusing. Especially if your boat is late. We had to walk forever and never had any clear guidance as to our transportation. Six people in a car really made for four. Extremely uncomfortable Drinks are way watered down. Don’t fill them with ice for a half hour before using the cups. The food was very good and service exceptional. We had our own reserved space which was great. Vendors were ever Persia but not pushy.

Could not find location for transportation I paid extra for at the port nor outside the port. Was told five different locations to go and walked around for over an hour. We never got to go to the excursion and ended up stay at the port. Horrible experience in Costa Maya and now waiting days to receive my $373 refund back.

We’re very sorry to hear that you had difficulty finding the meeting point for your Costa Maya Port All-Inclusive Beach Escape experience. As stated in the tour description and your confirmation email, all our tours depart outside the port, just a short walk from the cruise terminal, as we are a local and independent company not affiliated with the cruise lines or the port authority.
You selected the option with transportation, and our team was in contact with you prior to the tour date with clear meeting instructions. Our guide was waiting at the designated spot and, as this was a shared experience, we had to respect the schedule and the time of the other guests who arrived on time.
Unfortunately, as you arrived over an hour late and the tour had already departed, we were unable to accommodate you. We understand how frustrating this must have been, but as the tour operated as scheduled, we are unable to issue a refund for a no-show.
We hope you’ll consider joining us again in the future under better circumstances so we can provide the great experience we’re known for.

An absolutely wonderful beach and the staff were all phenomenal. Loungers under an umbrella and a table for drinks was included. Delicious food and plenty to choose from. The kids especially loved all the drink choices lots of frozen concoctions lol ! Be aware that it’s quite a walk from the ship to the meeting point! I think we definitely chose wisely and even though our day was a bit on the rainy side we had a wonderful time. I travel with a Rollator and a POC and I was easily able to maneuver between the restaurant, beach and restrooms. I would definitely choose this again!

We will book with them anytime we return to Costa Maya. Unfortunately our ship was unable to dock this time, so we missed out on an excellent time. We’ve visited multiple times in the past and this place never disappoints. My wife and I cruise a lot. In Costa Maya, we used to just go to the krazy lobster to kill time. That is until we found this beach club. We’ve been big fans ever since. It’s got everything. Chairs, cabanas, kayaks, excellent drinks, good food. Really could not as for more. Can’t wait to get back.

This was a perfect and relaxing way to spend our day in Costa Maya. The staff took great care of us and made sure we had all the drinks and food we wanted both of which were delicious!! They had kayaks which we enjoyed using and the water was clean and beautiful. Very peaceful area, only about waist deep, and no waves, but it was really nice to go into with our drinks and talk while enjoying the beautiful beach area. As others mentioned the only draw back is the locals that can be somewhat pushy selling their wares. We hadn’t even set our stuff down and already had people approaching us. After about 30 minutes it died down and a simple “no thank you” sent them on their way. So just be prepared for that. Other than that our whole family really loved this place and have a beautiful sun and beach filled day with yummy food and drinks which we all enjoyed!

The short drive to the club area was good. Our service was good at the club and the views were amazing. There was plenty of local shopping up and down the streets too that were fun. I feel it was expensive for what we got.
