The weather was not the best but we decided to make the best of it. We caught 2 small fish and then lost a massive red snapper. We opted to skip snorkeling since the water was so rough, but the snorkel sites looked great. The crew was amazing, super friendly, and knew just where to go. We will be definitely be coming back.

We ran a little late to...

We ran a little late to meeting point due to large amount of cruise ships in that day and unable to get taxi on time.. We were able to message operator and they immediately responded and reassured us a boat would wait for us. We ended up getting a boat to ourselves and went to two different spots, seeing a sea turtle and sting ray, which is all my daughter wanted to sew so mission accomplished! Guide was with us in the water the entire time with life ring just incase.. this tour is a no brainer if looking to snorkel in costa maya

Best Excursion Ever? Costa Maya Snorkeling Says Yes!!!

I was a little unsure when I arrived at the meeting point for the excursion. It was a smaller boat, and it was only myself, my niece and my daughter. I did not realize it was going to be a private snorkeling tour. This was by far one of the best snorkeling excursions I have been on. As soon as the girls got into the water with their gear, they saw a huge stingray. The reefs that Humberto had taken us two were beautiful with lots of fish and aquatic life. We later saw a sea turtle that was just almost unreal, but absolutely stunning. I honestly could not have asked for a better day and the tour guides made us feel very comfortable. I absolutely 100% would recommend this to anyone and have gushed about this snorkeling excursion to everyone at home. <3

Best luxury resort ever!

Off the beaten path, everything from the transportation from the cruise port, to the amazing food (try the big platter, it's totally worth it!), to the incredible staff, it was the highlight of our 2 week cruise. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, boujie afternoon at a virgin beach.

Family Bucket List and treated like royalty!

This was an amazing experience! My family of four including 17 and 10 yr old girls had a private and personally tailored experience. From the cruise port we took a taxi about 2 miles at $5 pp to the meeting spot. We were so amazed by our Captain Zach and guide Jesus! The two of them know the reef and area so well. They took us to the most amazing spots to snorkel! We saw so many different fish, unique coral, a HUGE Manta Ray, a couple of sting rays and before we were done even a sea turtle!!!! This day hit so many family bucket list items. Jesus not only kept us together and safe in the water but knew all the places to look to find amazing sea creatures and treasures. Captain Zach treated us like royalty. We snorkeled for a good long time in one spot covering a sizable area. He was always close by if needed. Then we got back in the boat where we were treated to fresh made and delicious guacamole and chips, fresh fruit, water, soda and beer. Jesus even taught us the correct way to cut and eat a mango. Capt. Zach took us to a protected marine park and worked with Jesus to find a sea turtle. Snorkeling with a sea turtle was a true bucket list item for us and it was magical watching the endangered turtle munch in sea grass right below us! Capt. Zach was so knowledgeable about the area and was so happy to answer all my kids curious questions. We loved how much our guides respect and work to care for the reef. We did two other snorkeling experiences while on our cruise vacation but nothing compares to how amazing this experience was! To have the 3 hours to take time to really explore and see so much, to be treated so well and have such a great experience set this tour far apart and above and beyond all others.

Lovely experience and well worth the money!

Our time with this experience was great! The best was snorkeling with a sea turtle just inches from my face! The sea was very rough, though, and the tour guide should not have trusted us when we said we were good swimmers. Some of the swimmers had to get back in the boat, and others asked for their flotation device. Still, it was well worth it! The hosts were very friendly and very prompt with helping. The drinks and food were wonderful! The Beach lounge chairs were very nice. We could have done without the folks trying to sell their wears, however. We were interrupted at least three or four times per hour. The massage was good, though I’m not sure of their training or experience. Still it was a lovely massage next to the sea and under the open air. The locals give massages for $20 an hour. Based on the cost of the massage, meals for under 20 bucks each, and such, the price may have been a bit steep. However, the ease of not having to find those things on our own, and the friendliness of the hosts made it well worth it! The driver seemed to know where to drop us off, but he was not right. We had to ask and then walk a couple blocks to find the restaurant. We had the misconception that we should look for a resort, and it’s not. It’s basically a very small restaurant, maybe six tables, and the seating about 30 chase lounges toward the water. Some of the lounges were under a tarp, which made nice shade. Again, a wonderful day spent with wonderful hosts.

Superb snorkel trip with reefs and turtle sightings

We found the location easily and had a very warm welcome. After a short boat ride and safety briefing we entered the water . The guides were very friendly and competent. They lead us to various coral reefs with lots of different species of fish . The highlight was seeing two turtles feeding . Without their experience we would never have seen them . We were in the sea for an hour and after returning they had facilities to shower . An excellent trip overall and great value for money .

Fantastic Snorkeling Experience with Cesar

This was an excellent experience. Cesar was a knowledgeable and attentive guide who pointed out a wide variety of marine life, including a spotted eagle ray. We booked a private snorkeling charter, and as a group of women, we felt safe, well cared for, and comfortable throughout the trip. The pricing was also very reasonable. Highly recommend booking this experience.
