Itinerary
Board your clean, comfortable boat for a sailing trip over the turquoise waters offshore. Stop for snorkeling (all gear provided) among the marine life that inhabits the surrounding reefs. Guides provide assistance if you’re new to snorkeling and can help point out tropical life you might otherwise miss.
Back on board, dig in to chips, guacamole, and salsa, and sip drinks from an open bar. The staff on board is there to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
Go ashore on the island of Isla Mujeres, where you'll spend free time exploring on your own. Head back to the mainland around 4pm, then enjoy convenient drop-off back at your hotel.

An amazing experience and definitely recommend. It ended up being myself and my boyfriend and only one other couple. Crew was super nice and helpful. I was a little nervous to snorkel but it was so beautiful, so happy we did this tour!

Only after the boat left the marina were we told that the snorkling is cancelled because of high winds. We were not offered a refund or return to the pier. I think that is not fair. We were just offered lunch. That's it. I think that was not right.

Miss Anitha, with all due respect, we have no control over the weather. If the maritime authorities cancel the snorkeling activity, it's for your own safety. Canceling the snorkeling wasn't because we, as the tour operator, wanted to cancel it only for the two of you. Believe me, it was to safeguard you. The ocean is unpredictable, and we can't control it. However, we do have authorities monitoring the ocean, and they are the ones who inform us whether or not snorkeling is permitted.
You were given an additional upgrade at no extra cost, which has nothing to do with the dock fee, since the dock fee is a Cancun city tax that neither the operator nor we have access to.the snorkel time 30 minutes is recreational activity, and if the weather doesn't permit it, there's nothing we can do. Can you imagine you wanting to snorkel, thinking that we're the ones who don't want you to, and then something happens to you? Who would It be to blame?, you or us for not warning you?
We much prefer that, while your life may not matter to you, It does matter and its important to us, and we obey orders to safeguard everyone.
We are sorry that we can not control the weather.

They gave us the address to park at a public beach but the guards there dint let us enter saying that the parking was only until 3 pm and that the the cruise would come back by 7 so we can’t enter, they were unresponsive when we tried to call and there was no parking around, leaving us stranded,

Miss,Chandrima Gosch it's a shame I can't post screenshots of our conversation, I even sent you the check-in video for Losbter Beach via WhatsApp, along with the real-time location. I was very clear in telling you that the parking was public and on a first-come, first-served basis. I gave you the option of finding parking where you have to pay, and yet you still told me you had arrived. The guides were looking for you and never found you. I messaged you, and you said you were somewhere the photo couldn't identify. I've been working with this tour operator for nine years, and believe me, they haven't moved from the same location. It seems only you changed the marina's address because we continue working at Playa Langosta. Both in the confirmation letter and in person, I gave you instructions to arrive on time, and you still didn't. Then you send me threatening messages? I have the proof because we do our job, and believe me, canceling and refunding for two people isn't worth risking the reputation of an entire marina just because you didn't reach your destination. So please don't blame us.

HORRIBLE TOUR ! Unorganized !!! Lots of miscommunication. They tried to offer us a tour we didnt book upon arrival- saying it was a complimentary upgrade. All it was , was longer time in Isla. Our 4.5 hour tour would have been the 8 hour tour. When we said no to the offer we were told we would take one catamaran to the island and a different one back. Guide explained things in lengthy detail in spanish and in english we got the quick version. ( bi-lingual tour) . Snorkeling was maybe 30 minutes.. very quick stop ! Upon arrival to Isla - we were told it was unlimited drinks and food at the beach club. It wasn't, It was only for 90 minutes and you needed to eat as soon as you arrived or it wasn't available later . Thats not considered open bar and food in my opinion. There was No where to put your things at the beach clubs- you needed to rent a chair for $28 for 2 hours. A Never explained to us by our guide. When we were leaving- the return catamaran had no knowledge that we were coming back with them ( they took our picture at check in to assure the return guide knew who we were ) . We were told Fat Cat catamaran was leaving at 3:40--- do not be late. The catamaran ended up departing at 4:12 !!! Captain and staff on return catamaran were vaping the whole way back- very unprofessional. When we got back to Cancun- our driver was not there to get us. Worst tour I have ever booked with Viator

With all due respect, you were offered an upgrade at no additional cost, but you weren't even obligated to, and no one forced you to take it.
The Tour to Isla Mujeres is a bit longer, because we stop at the beach club to have lunch, and were you can eat at the buffet, which obviously doesn't last more than 90 minutes, as there's a program to follow. You weren't at your hotel where you can eat and drink all day if you want; your original tour does not have a meal only snacks on board.
Snorkeling isn't allowed for more than 30 minutes in the ocean. If you wanted to spend all day snorkeling, please find out which company can provide that service and send me a message so I can book them. Believe me, in the 25 years I've been living in Cancun, no one offers snorkeling for more than 30 minutes.
What caught our attention the most, and believe me, is your mentality. I don't think you were right about what you wrote... You wrote:

You are in Mexico, so the tours are bilingual since there are passengers from other Spanish-speaking countries. The tour description specifically says "bilingual," since we don't discriminate against anyone who speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, etc., etc., etc. What a racist comment you make. I can't believe it!
We do not need people like you on our tour, who even if we give you an upgrade at NO ADDITIONAL COST, complain about everything and certainly we cannot please everyone perfectly, we do everything possible to get a 10! operation, but you are out of context if you are capable of being a person like that complaining that the guide gave his explanation in both languages and you did not like it (because he is doing his job) We cannot expect more from you.

First off, this trip was absolutely hilarious and extremely fun. Lucky for us, everyone else had booked a full day tour so we got upgraded from a half day to a full day for free which was great. The way to snorkeling was fun; however, when snorkeling we were not given fins and were not divided into groups. So, it was really a really big group of people. If you want to do a full snorkel tour, I would suggest getting a tour that purely does snorkeling. Nevertheless, the beach was fun, the food was good, and the tour guides were fun, welcoming, and charismatic. Our tour guide in particular was the life of the party and dancing - it was amazing. While other reviews say people of the island are pushy, I wouldn’t. They don’t try to keep asking after a first no nor do they get offended. Everyone my boyfriend and I interacted with were extremely friendly. I would recommend bringing pesos to the island for souvenirs or snacks (paletas are always a must). The beach they drop you off at is extremely close to playa Norte, which I personally liked better. We did not rent a golf cart and with the limited amount of time there, unless if you want to go to the other side of the island, walking works great. The drinks were good! And the way back was amazing! 100% recommend for a fun day of food, beach, and drinks!

Only 10 of us on the catamaran. Great day. Snorkelling was ok but hardly any marine life. Carlos and crew were great and the drinks flowed all the time. The beach at the island was amazing. Talcum powder white sand and crystal clear water.

I was really looking forward to this catamaran cruise to Isla Mujeres, but unfortunately, I never even got the chance to board. When I arrived, I was told I couldn’t park in the garage something that wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time even I told the security guard in the parking garage I will miss the boat he said I can’t park here, later on a lady said I should pay to park, it was a free parking spot and they didn’t told me I have to pay I would pay since I drove two and half hours to get there and I have already book the activity.I tried to find a solution, I even asked to do another boat activity in Cancun since I had only this activity planned for the day, they only one they had was the speed boat, the lady tried to help she even gave me the captain number but he didn’t answered the phone when i tried to tell him what’s going on .As a result, I missed the boat.
To make things worse, they refused to issue a refund or offer any kind of compensation, even though the situation was beyond my control. It felt like they were more interested in keeping the money than making sure guests were taken care of.

I can understand your frustration, but you were monitored the entire time through the WhatsApp messages you sent, and we have them as proof that the service was provided. Aside from that, there couldn't have been miscommunication since you spoke excellent Spanish the entire time.
First, let's address the miscommunication you claim we have. You, Miss Christella Cosmeus, entered the name of the hotel Aloft in your reservation, and the pickup was sent from there.

We confirm your pickup time for your tour on Friday, May 30, 2025, will be at 11:20 a.m. in the motor lobby area of the Aloft Cancun Hotel.
We suggest bringing extra clothes to change into, a swimsuit, a towel, biodegradable sunscreen lotion, comfortable shoes for walking on the island, and cash for souvenirs or tips (on the island, there aren't many ATM machines to withdraw money with a bank card).
Dock fee and Ocean National Park tax are not included and it will be collected at the time of your check in $20 usd dolar per person or $400 pesos per person if you want to pay with our local currency, and we also have the option if you want to pay with a bank card.

And just that same day, you wrote to us via WhatsApp that you were driving from Tulum, but at 10:20am. It was emphasized that if you were going to have time to arrive and according to the conversations on WhatsApp, you say yes, we are on the way already. So that same day, we had to cancel the 10:25 a.m. the pickup because you were already on your way. What do you think happened with the last-minute pickup cancellation? well let me explain to you, They charged for that pickup because you didn't inform us in advance that you didn't want the service.
If you had first informed us that you were in Tulum, we would have gladly told you to leave Tulum three hours earlier to get to Cancun on time. Because we know in advance the distance and the inconveniences that this highway, is heavily traveled daily.
About the parking space,If you read Viator, it says very clearly.

Meeting instructions: At Playa Langosta, there is the restaurant called "Los Pececitos" right there, there is your check-in area. Check-in time is 11:30 a.m.
For the parking space there, it's available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You arrived at the parking entrance at 12:10 pm, and check-in was at 11:30 am. Parking is full and the security guard did not allow you to get in because there was no space available.
It says "parking space there is available on a first-come, first-served basis," but nowhere does it say they'll have a space for you, either reserved. parking space is free as long as you arrive on time. You had to arrive at least by 11:00 am to get a space. You saw that it's not a large parking lot, which is why they emphasize "it's available on a first-come, first-served basis."
The manager waited for you as long as possible, but because the catamaran already had people upset about waiting ( 20 mimutes ), you didn't consider that if you had also had to wait, you would also have been upset waiting for two people arriving late. Unfortunately, the manager had to leave because passengers being upset about the wait. Since everything is documented with a time stamp, we'd be happy to provide you with the exact time using official documents showing the time the catamaran departed.
There are no catamarans available at the times you would have liked; only one time slot from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., which is why it's called a Cancun Half-Day Sailing Catamaran Cruise to Isla Mujeres.
Unfortunately, the tour operator charged a no-show, so we've already had two no-shows: the first was the transportation and the second, the catamaran. Even so, you were being given a speedboat tour so you'd at least have and activity to do, since you arrived in Cancun all the way for Tulum . You weren't going to Isla Mujeres, but you were going to drive your speedboat and snorkel on the reef in Puerto Morelos. Which you rejected... What I want our readers to understand is that you were provided with personalized service, just like we do with our other passengers. You can read our reviews and believe me, the company won't make more money with two-passenger no-show charge. A "no-show" Impact, can cause problems for the tour operator, as they have reserved specific locations, materials, or services for that person, and a no-show causes financial and resource losses.

BAM, wad a fun Facilitator. We saw so many turtles swimming by the boat.
It was crazy windy, lots of waves but I did snorkel!
Buffet & drinks on the island were satisfactory.
The golf cart was $85 USD, apparently you can rent cheaper, but we didn't mind paying more, as BAM knew where to go & make sure we are back on time

We signed up for the 5 hour trip. They begged us to go on the 7 hour trip. I found out it was because they overbooked our trip. I said no to the 7 and they crammed us on a small boat. Then we had to wait for a different boat to take us back to Cancun. The drinks were very watered down. The trip was nice but disorganized and chaotic.

No one is asked to take a tour without being forced, and if you were offered the tour with an upgrade at no additional cost it was to make the day more enjoyable. Your tour was not overbooked, but quite the opposite, there were only 2 passengers on the tour, which were you. And yet you were given the service and returned to Cancun on time.
What I don't understand is why you don't communicate directly with us to resolve the situation at the time and not have to do what you do by exposing your situation when everything has a solution.

The crew and boat ride was great. They double booked us on the same boat we had originally been scheduled for a 1/2 trip but the boat that they put us on was for a full day.
They had to find another boat to bring us back. The whole time they kept asking us to stay for the original trip but we had told them we also had reservations for another event that night. We finally got back to the original meeting point at 6 o’clock and when we got back our transportation that we had book thru you was gone and we had to pay for another way of transportation to get back to the hotel. No communication

First of all, We never ever leave our passengers on the Marina, Because the drivers are FORBIDDEN TO GO without first consulting me, what to do and believe me, for us customer service comes first. that way we avoid having bad comments about su like you just did.
Honestly, What I will never EVER understand that if you have my phone number and there is some disagreement, why you ddn't contact me directly? My phone number and the reservation phone number are practically 24/7.
But no.... is always this situation of putting a bad comment as if it gives some kind of pleasure in making a service look bad. For our luck your put in with your own handwriting to begin with.... The crew and boat ride was great.. .. if there was an error... please, we are humans, not machines, and I think your problem was solved by upgrading at no additional cost.

My biggest issue with this tour was that the boat and crowd was not properly represented on Viator. We were shuffled onto a very large catamaran with probably somewhere in the range of 60-70 people.
We also were not communicated to regarding transfer back to our hotel and left to try to figure out where our ride was alone. We ended up taking Uber back at the end.
Food was not served on the boat but a buffet was open when you arrive at the island.
Snorkeling was excellent IF you could get away from the crowd. At one point I had two panicking tourists clinging onto me. Life jackets are mandatory and they do not provide flippers.
The staff was great, fun people.

First off too many people on one boat. The boat was 45 minutes late picking us up. By the time we arrived to the island we only had less than a hour to enjoy and it was time to leave. The trip was not worth the money. I wish I could get a refund. The sitting was tight and uncomfortable we were just over it

Miss Latisha scott, You were in a Catamaran that´s is over 45¨. The Catamaran is not like a car. so there was no way fot the Catamaran to be late since they are in the dock place. There is no chairs at the Catamaran the sitting is around the Catamaran or on the net. we did the tour as we been doing it for over 6 years, we can understand that customers have different opions and expectations. and we are sorry that you wrote this about us. we do our best and beyond to our work to make everybosy happy in our tour, but one thing is clear. I’ve put a lot of thought into whether I would give this 2 or 3 stars. We had fun and there were definitely highlights, but there were also a lot of negatives. I’ll start with the pros:
1- the on-board photographer was great
2- the crew was extra helpful with our 4.5yo
3- the surroundings are so beautiful that you will forgive a crappy tour in the moment
Now for the cons:
1- the boat is VERY small and basically the only place to sit is on very uncomfortable netting. Not recommended with kids (ours did great but she’s a trooper) You also have no space to put your stuff really.
2- “snorkeling” is a stretch. They dump you into a rough section of water where there are a bajillion other boats and you need to swim 500M point to point and THEY DON’T GIVE YOU FINS. So you’re basically just swimming really hard to get to the pickup and there was nothing to see underwater. Super super lame- if you’re going for snorkeling, this isn’t your trip.
3- They asked for $85US for a golf cart rental, which ended up being a super rushed tour where we couldn’t stop or actually visit any of the sites, lasting about 40 mins. Also, if you rent your own it’s $55 FOR THE WHOLE DAY. We were definitely ripped off.
4- This is definitely a party boat with the only goal of drinking a lot. If you’re into that then this is your boat, otherwise it’s not worth your time.
5- The guide set up our transportation back to our hotel for 7:30pm but we got back almost an hour early. He didn’t help us have them come earlier, so we had an extra hour of just standing at a park with our hungry, tired kid waiting for our ride. We asked for his help and he just left for the day.
We made the most of it but I definitely wouldn’t do this again nor recommend it to others. There are more professional outfits out there.

Im going not going to take the time that you did to write the CONS you havez is not worth my time. what is it important to me is that you did have a good service, the tour guide did a great Job the cons is It's basically your expectations, which apparently are very high. Next time, I highly recommend that you take a private tour. since there it will do everything exactly as you want it. Well, you will be paying the price for being private and only serving you in every way.
The part about the golf carts, we do not sell or rent the golf carts, you were sold the Isla Mujeres tour, if you took the tour that was additional and it was at your own expense that you decided to rent it.
Please give me the contact for the private tour that only pays $55 FOR THE WHOLE DAY, that is cheap even for us who live in Cancun and want to go to Isla Mujeres all day.

Had a great time on this excursion! Pretty much it was only the weather that we wish we could have changed. It was too windy to snorkel, and took 1.5 hours to arrive to Isla Mujeres because of that. The three hosts (driver, bartender, guide) were so fun to have around and very informational! They gave suggestions and advice, but ultimately let us do whatever we wanted. They really made the trip fun! The 5 hour time limit was very quick and we didn’t get to explore Isla Mujeres at all besides eating at a restaurant. The photographer on board was pretty entertaining and fun too. Some people from our group bought their photos for $40. We had 14 people go on the trip and they always needed some up front on the boat and some on back for weight. It was only hard to move about the boat because of the windy weather. I would only do this adventure again in good weather and at least another hour longer.

This was the best excursion we did in Cancun Mexico, Carlos was amazing. The captain and all the staff were so helpful and fun! Drinks were full all day! I would recommend doing the full day as there was not enough time at isla but overall I would do this everytime we visit!

me and my lady met at the meet point behind flamingos as instructed and it was a whole different sailing agency so we completely missed out and wasted 250$.

Well, first of all, if you took the tour with us it is impossible for you to have arrived at the Marina on your own, since this tour has transportation included. Apart from that, we have to give you instructions by email of the place where we are going to leave in case that you arrive on your own. I couldn't have told you to go to the Marina and not be there for you to check in, So you didn't take our tour, because you don't even know the company you took the tour with and you're saying it's us. Our good comments support us, who knows who you made the reservation with and you are blaming us.

This was our most enjoyable excursion while visiting Cancun. Transportation was prompt, & tour guide BAM was incredible. We only had 10 tourists on our catamaran!! It was like having our own boat. We snorkeled on our way to the island & saw tons of beautiful fish & the under water sculptures. At the island, we rented golf carts, stopped for a quick drink & enjoyed the beach for a bit. The half day trip is fast paced & perfect for our liking. I highly recommend this excursion,

Panda and crew were just wonderful. We felt safe during the voyage and we were involved with the decision making on what to do. The waves were pretty high that day so didn't do any snorkeling. Thank you for a fun experience!

Great time, super friendly staff, golf carts are a must! Make sure to have a bite to eat on the island before heading back to Cancun.
