What To Expect

Make your own way to Coco Bongo Cancun and skip past the crazy lines to the Gold Member area. Seats are first-come, first-served, so arrive at the 8:30pm check-in time to bag the best views.

Your own personal waiter is at your service for the evening as you settle in to enjoy the notorious live show, which might include acrobats, live bands, and tribute artists.

Fuel up with an included snack for every couple (mini burgers and fries, hot dogs and fries, or cheesy nachos and fries), then get the party spirit flowing with up to 15 drinks from the premium top-shelf drinks menu. Stay as late as 3am if the spirit moves you.

The package was not what it says it was. Our seats were not front row. We were sat high up in the back corner. We could not see the stage. I had to pay $150 more for better seats. The seats we recieved were closer to the stage, but I was siting on the edge of the stairs, and every time someone bumped into me. I had to grab on to the bar top as to not tip over and fall down the stairs. It was very over crowded, there was literally no space between us and the people next to us. My partner was pretty much sitting in the lap of the guy next her. Waiter's were walking around with the complimentary food/snacks, but even after asking our waiter several times we never got the food that was included in the package. The show was amazing though!

Thanks for your review. You did not book Front Row tickets which is why you were not seated in front row. Gold member seating is all the remainder of the VIP and guests are given check in time instructions to ensure they are on time to select their seats. Happy to hear you enjoyed the show!

Buy the cheapest tickets, we bought gold and we wasn’t given anything that was promised. We had to wait in the queue, didn’t have a table, a private waiter wasn’t available and we wasn’t given our snack or premium drinks. We had a great time and the shows was incredible however we wished we bought the cheapest tickets. We went through Viator/trip advisor to ask for a partial refund to claim for the normal price tickets and they declined. I am currently disputing it though the bank

Upon confirming with the venue, your group showed up an hour and a half late for arrival time noted on the tickets. The queue you are referring to is security check that all guests must go through prior to entering. Your Gold member tickets include seats, open bar & a snack you need to order from the waiters in the section. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the show & we’re available to assist with any questions or issues during your event via email, phone or text but did not get any complaints from your group during your event.

The drink package is definitely worth it however the front row seats we were allocated were defunct not worth the money. So mixed reviews the night was good, service was good and our waiter kept us topped up. The shows from what we could see were good but visibility was limited from where we were sat despite arriving in plenty of time as suggested

Total scam , not enough tables for tickets with guaranteed table/seats they offer one at a different area which costed additional 1000 usd after paying 700 already for a seated spot.

Coco Bongo sells out nightly and VIP seating is required to check in at a specific time to obtain seating. Guests not checked in at a different time are considered a no show and lose seating. This is why it is super important to follow guidelines set by the venue. They also offer upsales at the venue which are not required. We hope you enjoyed the actual show!

Definitely NOT a family experience! We enjoyed the energy and AV show. But Coco Bongo used to be an edgy unique experience with choreographed fights, made up crazy bands, surprise effects, and unexpected action all night long. It has become a series of impersonation lip sync bands. They have high quality costumes and light shows, but everything has an artificial veneer to it. Drinks are weak and far between (but this is to be expected in a drinks-included venue like this). Still fun, still crazy, a little more sleazy and little more of a cover band lip sync night.

Coco Bongo is an adults only event, they offer select family nights for a kid friendly environment for future reference! All experiences include shows, acrobatics, music, etc that staff works hard to put on 365 days a year. Hope to have you back again!

Overpriced poor experience

Some of the show was very good, however I really don’t think it was worth the high price. Booked VIP gold to skip the queue only to be told on arrival to join the queues with everyone else. Once in and sat in our “VIP” area we were hassled numerous times to upgrade to a seat the row in front for an additional 120 dollars. After already paying £250 I wasn’t going to start spending more money. The food we were served was cold and tasted awful. I didn’t see anyone eating it. Once inside it was just one request after another to get more money, even expecting a tip when you go to the toilet.

All guests will have a short wait for staff to check tickets & security checks. Once inside, staff will offer upgrades to tickets if available. Giant pole in the way of all of our viewing. Could t see much of the show.. also it seemed like the workers knew about it and tried to upcharge us 200 US dollars to move seats after we paid 500 plus for 3 gold members tickets

Gold Member seating is selected on a first come, first serve basis & guests are allowed to select their own seats. Arriving on time for check in is important as tickets sell out nightly. With that being said, the Gold Member area provides unobstructed views of the show for all guests. Coco Bongo staff will offer upsale to front row seating for an additional fee which seems is what was offered to you. We do hope you enjoyed the incredible shows!

This was a 10/10 the show was amazing the preformers were great and friendly.. just know that this VIP package isn't the ultimate VIP package. These seats are above the stage... not next to the stage. All the fun is at the bottom of the stage so we paid an extra $200+ dollars for a table next to the stage. Also as the night goes on the "open bar" is more geared towards bottle service but even with the minor hiccups this was one of the best nights of the trip.

A very relaxing and fun place to be. Although I traveled alone I had a great time just being in the environment alone. With the VIP pass the servers will never leave you without. Overall it’s a “must do” but transportation is a major factor getting back to the hotel.

Fantastic night out! The Atmosphere was electric and Coco Bongo knows how to make the night memorable. I noticed that a lot of reviews say drinks were weak, but when I went to the bar - it was all brand products, and if you wanted a drink - you got it! Only thing in my opinion that could be vastly improved is the “dinner”, it really is a small burger and a small portion of fries. Taking into consideration of all the great entertainment, friendly staff and attention to detail which made the evening - Coco Bongo should look into that small detail. However, a fun and energetic night out in Cancun. Recommend it to everyone and I’m sure I’ll be back there soon! Thanks Coco Bongo!

Great show, weak drinks

The show was great!!! We had VIP front line tickets and the view was incredible. Unfortunately, for the price we paid the drinks were not strong at all. Also, we didn’t like being interrupted to take and purchase pictures during the show times. It would have been more appropriate during the DJ music in between performances. Overall, it was a good experience. This was my second time and I was on the floor and the drinks were stronger.

Be careful on the gold VIP was seated in a row of six could not move if there’s a fire you were screwed. (Seats 27-32 needed everyone to move to exit) We had to pay extra $200 to get a table.

It is important to note that seating is set up like any concert or event seating, some guests do need to stand or move so others can get to seats, this is standard at lots of events. You opted to upgrade your tickets to bottle service with a few private table which is why you spent additional money. It is not a requirement to spend more money.

Definitely recommend vip gold ticket. We had amazing time the show was unbelievable...We had bar waiter service all night.. food was included hotdogs fries etc. Well worth the money ..Don't miss this show it was truly an experience to watch.

I purchased a gold member ticket, no chair to sit on, and disgusting liquor, the beer came out of a water gun. It is a dance club and nothing as described. Save your money!

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy the Coco Bongo experience. All Gold Member guests who arrive on time per check in instructions have a seat. There are a lot of liquor options included with open bar tickets and the staff works hard to mix a great night of DJ/ music/ shows & acrobatics.

Amazing show and one of the best atmospheres I have ever seen. However the slow service, tightly pack areas (we had paid for seats in a VIP experience) and couldn't move due how cramped it was with people stood right behind us. Also the lack of restrooms really does stop this experience being world class
