You will get muddy, wet and dusty. Bring a towel and swimsuit. Our guide was awesome. Shout out to John!

This excursion is very misleading!! There is no tequila tasting, or any drinks of any kind. The only drink you receive is after your last cenote swim, and you have to pay for it. But it’s sneaky, you don’t think you have to pay because you signed up for a drink event UNTIL they bring you the bill right before you leave. We signed up for this event because the tequila tasting was included and there was absolutely none of that. I believe they need to partially refund due to false advertisement. Why are we paying the same price and not receiving what we signed up for?
The ATV adventure was fun we enjoyed it because we are gear heads and happy we went alone. The guides on this part were fantastic. Everyone working here was very friendly. We wanted a side by side, not a quad, so we went separate from the others and glad we did because we wanted to go fast. Machine was fun but not in great shape. My husband is a mechanic and he said the machine was not very safe (wheel bearings gone, tie rods gone). We didn’t get the detailed explanation of the land and forest and cenote that it says in this ad for this excursion though and it was just one cenote, not two. Cenote was interesting but pretty dirty, they had someone in a boat swishing the top scum off the surface to the sides to make it look more appealing to swim in. We were rushed out of the cenote after our second circuit to make room for the next party coming in, not the greatest. One picture was $25 USD the whole album was $65 USD. Pictures were pretty good but not for $65! We had to wake up at 6 AM and be in the lobby by 7 AM for pick up, took 2 hours to get to Selvatica after picking everyone up. We will not be using Viator moving forward due to lack of transparency. Too bad, our last excursion was great. Seemed all they wanted was your money and not to make sure you really enjoyed your time.

We had a really great time mudding and swimming in the cenote. Unfortunately the listing is not up to date. They advertise a mixology component that has not been offered in more than a year and a half.

This tour was so fun!!!! It was very muddy they definitely made sure to give us plenty of time riding the ATVs. They were very accomodating. As my parents are older and slower they made sure to never leave my parents and made sure to always follow them. The food was very tasty! The cenote was great . They took amazing pictures. I would highly recommend this tour !!

Amazing experience. We had the best time! Our guide Chino was awesome. We did both mud madness and the zipline thanks to Viator support who helped curate our experience to exactly what we wanted.

We loved that we were able to participate as a group and met some amazing people along the way, I personally loved the Cenote which I haven't ever seen one as deep, I think our guide said that it was 20 ft. The food was good, salsa and guacamole were on point. The only thing I would suggest is that we had Margaritas' instead of making our own Tequila which was stated on the description, but other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

This was supposed to be a mud adventure so a heads up that there wasn’t any mud would have been appreciated and I would’ve cancelled. Also, the guides should remember that people haven’t done this before so it’s stressful when they don’t communicate with you at the beginning to tell you what’s happening.

The drive came to pick us up from the resort but did not have 3 members on his list. He stated that another driver was coming to pick them up. 20 minutes into our ride the family member call and stated that no one had come, we asked the driver he act like he didn't understand us, we ask for him to call his manager, the driver would not call he stated that a driver was on the way. Once we arrived at the site, we told them what was going on and they stated that they would send a taxi to put them up and would pay the taxi, but once the taxi arrived, they told them they had to pay for the taxi. Need to do better!!!

We're so sorry for your experience but let me explain to you some points.
The 3 persons, that you mentioned, didn't select any pickup location/hotel at the moment of the reservation.
For this reason it wasn't possible to scheduled a shuttle for them.
They had to take a taxi and pay for it because we didn't have more places in the transportation service on the way to Selvatica.
Anyway we provide the drop-off shuttle to get them back to the hotel at the end of the program without extra charge.
Our purpose is to guarantee a satisfied experience to the hosts and to provide a high level service.
So we found out the best option to solve this situation.
I'd like to invite you, in your next trip to Cancun, to visit Selvatica again and so you'll live in a better way your experience.

I enjoyed the entire experience. The ATV riding was definitely the best and the main reason I wanted to do the excursions. The Driver we had directing us on the trail understood the assignment and let us ride out ! The Mixology at the end along with the food brought this event to a great end

Zero mud, just a dusty short trail that goes in a figure 8. Very slow ATV that couldn't keep up with the others. Come to find out some people paid 170 for 2 for the same trip I paid $295.
Burnt a whole day with getting and registration to ride around for 35 minutes and eat lunch. Tourist trap in a jungle theme park.

Cenotes and staff. Those guys really work to make you have am enjoyable time. We lost an apple watch in one of the cenotes and one of the guys was a certified scuba driver. Without hesitation he jumped in the water and found that watch....amazing and yes he was heavily tipped

This was a very fun excursion!! Lots of mud and great fun zip lining into the cenotes. The tour guides were awesome and made it fun! The food and margay were delicious.

Our hotel transportation was scheduled for 7:10am pick up. We had to skip breakfast to be at the lobby at 7:10 since the restaurants open at 7. We grabbed a snack and headed to the lobby. Our driver was 20 mins late and we had to make a few other stops to pick up others. Since he was running late he drove like a mad man—the scariest driving I’ve ever sat through in Mexico. My entire family got car sick from this—it triggered a migraine for me and one of my kids was pale and holding back his vomit.
We arrive exactly at 9am to find a large crowd and long lines. It takes 45 mins to sign a waiver and wait in line to turn it in. I let our tour guide know that we wanted two side by sides, not 4-wheelers. We have two boys, 11 and 13, and my husband and I both wanted to drive. That was when we are told they they are short on vehicles and since we are a family they already decided that we all have to go together in a 4 seater. I spent $440 to sit in the back seat and see my husband’s head for 2 40-minute boring and uneventful rounds on the same dry roads. All of the couples there each got to drive their own 4-wheeler and didn’t have to pair up. But for $440, our family got one vehicle. Additionally, we picked this ATV experience because of the mud experience. The track was completely dry—zero mud or splashing. I understand they can’t control the rain but can you really call your experience “Mud Madness” if there a times when your track is completely dry?
The entire experience was rushed due to starting late. The Cenotes were ok but we were quickly rushed out as the next group was on our tail. The drink mixing was an extra random part to just jack up the price that nobody seemed to enjoy.
They also have a photographer in your face constantly telling you to pose so that he can sell you the pictures at the end. Very disappointing day. Couldn’t wait for it to be over!
I would really like a refund and day of my vacation back.

Misleading information between email communications and text messages lead to me missing out on what may have been a great adventure. Due to the unclear communications from the companies my shuttle arrived 2 hours and 45 minutes prior to the other notification stating to be ready at 9am. The customer service representative stopped responding and failed to rectify the issue. I will never use Viator again.

Loved the ATV driving! it was definitely a blast. Didn't have much to say about the cenote. As far as the mexology/lunch, I did not get to try as I got sick and required 1st aid. Overall the staff was great and accommodating!

All guides were incredible! This tour was a total blast and I wish we could go again tomorrow!! ATV’s had enough power to make lots of muddy fun! Lunch was great as well!
