Chiquila, the port for Holbox Island, is about an 85-mile (140-kilometer) drive from Cancun, and private transfers can be expensive, particularly for couples and solo travelers. Driver Never Showed

The driver never showed up. We arrived and this elderly couple had been waiting for 45 minutes and there was still no driver.

Horrible ride back to Cancun... we were put on a collectivo which was packed and few people wearing masks.. The van was very dirty. It is obvious that Viator sold our transfer to another company.. VERY disappointed! The ride to Chiquila was amazing!! Pedro was awesome and van was disinfected before we got in.. I paid for a van transfer not a collectivo.. I don’t mind a collectivo but not what I paid for and not something I would choose for 2.5 hours.
