Top Cancun Classic Car Tours

Visit the only Mayan archaeological site near Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Ek Balam, where you can still climb a pyramid and see the jungle from above, before heading to the Yucatan peninsula's north coast to take a guided wildlife tour in a boat, and then marvel at the pink waters of Las Coloradas, before heading back to your hotel. At Ek Balam, you can enter Mayan rooms, climb a pyramid, and stand open-mouthed at the detail captured in 8th century stucco sculptures. You can choose between a classic VW Beetle, and a more modern vehicle for the day. Your guide, as a former professional photographer will capture photos throughout your day, and share these with you at the end of the day for no additional cost, and send you a summary video of up to 90 seconds by the following day.

Operated by Senor Travel Bug, this is a variation on the 'classic' tour from Cancun and the Riviera Maya, replacing a visit to a cenote with a visit to a second Mayan archaeological site, Ek Balam. Get to know Mexico's Modern Wonder of the World, Chichen Itza, learning about a wide range of Mayan architectural, scientific and astronomical achievements. After spending the time you want at Chichen Itza, continue to Ek Balam, a second Mayan archaeological site and experience Mayan buildings in a very different way. Climb a pyramid, enter Mayan rooms within a temple and the palace, and see a totally different style of sculpture (stucco rather than stone) and see examples of Mayan glyphs, the first written language of the Americas. Finally, visit Valladolid, a Spanish colonial town with quaint streets, boutique shops and a cathedral on its charming main square. Choose the VW Beetle or a modern car, and the tour includes all photos by a former professional photographer at the end of the day.

See three Yucatan Peninsula attractions in a unique way: in a vintage Volkswagen Beetle. Your guide takes care of all logistics on this day-long private excursion and takes professional photographs along the way. First, you’ll visit the Mayan archaeological site Chichen Itza. Next, is a swim in a sacred cenote (cave pool). The charming town of Valladolid is the last stop, before returning to Cancun.

Discover Cancun’s vibrant food scene at night as you’re driven around the city in a uniquely painted classic Volkswagen Beetle on this private tour. You’ll leave the logistics to your local guide, who will bring you to four distinct locations, each offering a special food that you will get to sample, with all costs included. Visit two seafood restaurants, a taqueria, and enjoy a street food snack for dessert.

Operated by Senor Travel Bug, see lots of wildlife in the Cancun and Riviera Maya region, exotic and colourful birdlife in the jungle, potentially multiple species of turtles in the Caribbean sea and perhaps you'll also be lucky enough to see both the spider and howler monkeys further into the jungle in Yucatan's interior. Of course, all wildlife experiences do not guarantee specific animal sightings, but your guide is a former professional photographer who will share with you his best photos at the end of the day, and prepare a summary video of your day of up to 90 seconds as a memory. You may choose to travel in a classic VW Beetle, or in a more modern vehicle.
