Very fun excursion, it was thrilling to jump into the 3 different cenotes and ride through the jungle. While I enjoyed this tour I have a few things to note. The hotel pick up and drop off was very convenient but added an extra 2 hours each way since we were staying near Tulum and had to stop at 4-5 other hotels. I wouldn’t recommend this tour if you were staying that far away. I also felt we didn’t get enough time at each cenote. The tequila tasting was really good, but it took time away from swimming in the cenotes. The guides also never actually explained what a cenote is or how they were created or why they are an important ecosystem.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed jumping into the cenotes and riding through the jungle, as well as the tequila tasting. We appreciate your honest comments about transportation time, time at each cenote, and the lack of explanation about their history and ecosystem. Your feedback is very valuable and will be shared with our team to improve the experience and communication for future guests.

Overall I would say this was a good experience. The pickup from our resort went smoothly. They did remind us 3 times of the pickup time and said they wouldn’t wait for more than 5 minutes, which is funny because the next stop we waited about 25 minutes for their pickup. The drive to the Cenote was extremely bumpy and I would not suggest for older/ bad back people! Our tour guide Henry was fun and had great music the entire time. The tequila tasting was good but a bit long of a presentation and salesman like. The tacos snack was again good but had to pay for drinks and any extras. The fire show was good but again they ask for tips. The round up for all the groups to go back to resorts was chaotic! Pay attention or you will miss your bus! The last driver begged for a tip and was very rude! Overall was great day at the Cenotes but much longer than expected to be gone. I believe it was said to be a 4 hour trip when in reality we were gone a little over 6 hours total.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cenote and that Henry helped make the day fun. We appreciate your comments about timing, transportation, sales approach, tipping, and return logistics, as they help us identify areas to improve. Your feedback has been shared with our team.

Good amount of time at the cenotes. Guides and tequila master were informative and entertaining. Only downside was that every turn, the company was trying to upsell you on lunch, photos, sandals, masks. You name it, they tried to sell it.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
We’re glad you enjoyed the time at the cenotes and found our guides and tequila master informative. We’re sorry if you felt pressured by any upsell during the experience. All extras such as lunch, photos, or gear are completely optional, and we’ll keep working on making this clearer for our guests.
We appreciate your insight, as it helps us improve.
Lauren_J, Sep 2025
The cenotes were pretty but this is private land and the experience is set up so that you're basically just shuttled from one shopportunity to another. I was asked to buy something at least six times. I was hit up for tips at least four times. I was asked to rate the experience four times. You have to watch a kind of sad little show you didn't ask for before they will take you back to your hotel while they sell you mediocre food and drinks. The "Zipline" included in the three cenote experience is not what I call a zipline. It's not the kind where you strap in or anything. The actual time you spend in the cenotes is a fraction of the total time you spend there. I'd prefer just going to a public cenote on my own.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not meet your expectations and that the constant selling, requests for tips, and limited time in the cenotes left you disappointed. We understand your concerns about the setup and activities, and we’ll share your comments with our team to work on improvements.

Christian was the best tour guide! The margaritas and tequila tasting was delicious (and I'm not a super tequila fan, but this was quality stuff, lovely). I was afraid the cenote would be too cold, but they were so refreshing and we saw a bat in one of them. Overall great experience!
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you for your fantastic feedback! We're thrilled to hear that Christian made your tour memorable and that you enjoyed the delicious margaritas, tequila tasting, and refreshing cenotes—even spotting a bat was a fun bonus. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back on your next adventure!

This trip was pretty great. The cenotes were breathtaking, the swimming was an awesome experience, and our guides Chris and Nava were very fun and knowledgeable. All around, I would recommend this trip.
Unfortunately, this was not a semi-private tour, as advertised. The “15 person cap” was exceeded to a group size of 27 people. This didn’t quite deter from the experience, but it was different than expected.
Additionally, this tour books through “What To Do In Cancun,” but it is serviced by Extreme Adventure Cancun. This means that our hotel pickup was not done by the expected company, which was confusing. It also looks to be cheaper to book directly on the EAC website.
The pickup in the Cancun Hotel Zone was easy— our driver took a loop through the area and filled the van with participants. The ride was about an hour each way. We were picked up at 0830 and retuned at 1530.
The tour had “paparazzi” who took incredible pictures of the experience. You get to preview the photos before deciding to purchase. For our group of 3, the cost was $60 USD. Pictures were airdropped to our iPhone but could be emailed, as well.
Two tacos were included after the experience. They tasted great. Other food and drinks were available to purchase, as well.
All add-ons (food, photos, gift/accessory shop) take Visa, Mastercard, and Apple/Google Pay, which made it very easy. Tips should be planned in cash— there was no Venmo or PayPal QR Code to share funds electronically.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We're thrilled that you enjoyed the breathtaking cenotes, refreshing swim, and the knowledgeable guidance from Chris and Nava. Your positive comments and recommendation mean a lot to us. We also appreciate your insights regarding the group size and the tour service details. Your feedback helps us improve, and we will review these aspects to ensure a clearer and even more enjoyable experience for all our guests.

So fun for a bachelorette party! Music, tequila tasting, swimming, tacos and fire! It was a very cool experience that was well organized snd safe with all your belongings since it was smaller groups. We were group x with Chris as our guide. I was truly delightful - him and his partner ;forgot his name). He got in the water with us and had fun and even pulled me around in the paddle board since I didn’t want to get in 😂 we had a really great time! Thank you!!
Response from Host, Feb 2025
Thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear your bachelorette party was a blast—from the music, tequila tasting, and swimming to the tacos and fire. It's great that Chris and his partner made the experience so memorable, even getting in the water and helping out on the paddle board. Your feedback leaves a positive footprint on our commitment to excellence, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another fun adventure.

Great trip, very enjoyable and the cenotes were lovely. The kitchen at the end for the snacks were very chaotic and communication was poor about being picked up. The collection and pick up time wasn’t clear.
Response from Host, Jun 2024
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the trip and the cenotes. We apologize for any confusion regarding the pick-up. We actually provided 3 reminders through the Viator message center, WhatsApp messenger, and SMS to inform you of the pick-up time and location. Additionally, as per the product description, Viator recommends all travelers contact us 24 hours in advance to confirm these details. We appreciate your comments and will work to improve our communication.

The whole experience was great! The guides were a lot of fun and took great care of us. The only downside was the taco tasting. It was not good and you could really tell the people who got the tacos included in the tasting compared to the tacos that people were ordering. They were much much smaller portions of meat. We would have rather ended the tour and headed right back to the resort.
Response from Host, Jun 2024
We're glad to hear that you had a great experience overall! However, we apologize for the disappointment with the taco tasting portion. Your feedback about portion sizes and quality is important to us, and we'll make sure to address it with our team to improve. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the chance to provide you with a better experience in the future. Thank you for sharing your feedback!

I really enjoyed this excursion! My husband and I were looking for something a little different than ATV’s and Ziplining. This was such a great option, we visited 3 cenotes and our tour guide, Kevin was so fun and helpful throughout the whole experience. We were picked up and dropped off directly from our resort, making it a breeze to get to and from. We had a great tequila tasting as well featuring some of the local tequilas. They gave us drinks (soda, water, beer) after the second cenote. All of the cenotes had jumping points, but the third one had a zip line you can use to get into the water as well. Showers, restrooms, and changing rooms were available at the third cenote as well. After the third stop, we went back to the park area and received 2 tacos that were really yummy! It was a good portion for a snack for sure. We spent about 30 minutes at each cenote, and we had a photographer capturing images for purchase at the end. Overall I think it was an awesome value for the cost and I’d recommend the excursion!
Response from Host, Jun 2024
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you and your husband enjoyed the cenote tour and found it to be a refreshing change from the usual activities. It's great to know that Kevin made the experience fun and helpful. We're glad you appreciated the convenience of the direct resort pick-up and drop-off, as well as the tequila tasting and refreshments. The cenotes, jumping points, zip line, and amenities like showers and restrooms are all designed to enhance your experience. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the tacos and found the excursion to be a great value. Thank you for recommending us!

Thé driver picked us up in a timely fashion. We enjoyed the cenotes, tequila tasting, Mayan snack and the explanation they gave about the Mayan culture and cooking. While we were eating our tacos, there was Mayan entertainment provided. I liked that we got what we expected and a few perks thrown in like margaritas served at one of the cenotes. Our cenote guide, Matt (Mati), was very friendly and enthusiastic. We enjoyed talking to him. My only negative would be that when the driver picked us up, he didn’t identify the name of the tour, nor smile, nor say good morning. It doesn’t leave a good first impression. It would also be helpful to know how long the drive will be to the starting point of the tour.
Response from Host, Dec 2023
Thank you for sharing your feedback on your experience. We're pleased to hear that your driver was timely and that you enjoyed the various aspects of the tour, including the cenotes, tequila tasting, Mayan snack, cultural insights, and entertainment. We'll certainly take note of your suggestion regarding the initial interaction with the driver, and we apologize for any oversight. Your input about providing information on the duration of the drive to the starting point is valuable, and we'll work on improving communication in that regard. We appreciate your positive comments about your cenote guide, Matt (Mati), and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another wonderful experience in the future!

This was a very organized and fun adventure! Pick up was at 9:30 am, we got back around 3 pm. They communicated via WhatsApp. They have this cool camp set up where you stay on property for the whole time. We went to two Cenotes, had drinks at the second one (margaritas, sodas, waters - one each included), then went back to the camp for Ziplines. We had a photographer follow us who took over 100 pics. Our tour guide told us a bit about Cenotes and Mayan culture. We then went back to the restaurant and had two tacos each which were delicious! Pics were digital with one print and cost $69. Extra drinks were 2 margs for $10. Suggest bringing a water shoes, towel, change of clothes. Nice break from the sun. Overall great price for a really fun day!
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Thank you for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a very organized and fun adventure with us. It's great to know that the communication via WhatsApp was convenient and that the camp set up on the property added to the experience. We're glad you enjoyed visiting two Cenotes and the drinks provided. The ziplines, along with the photographer capturing over 100 pictures, sound like a memorable addition to the day.
