Reliable and comfortable ride from YYC airport to Canmore. Clean vehicle, warm air conditioner, friendly staff at the Banff Explorer airport counter and also the driver.

Straight forward transit. Was absolutely freezing in the car the whole way though. Our booking was not in their system even though we received a confirmation so I definitely recommend calling them if you are using a third party booking system. The directions provided in Viator were very vague that we almost missed our booking.

Thanks for the review — we’re happy the transit was straightforward, but you shouldn’t have to survive an “Arctic edition” transfer to get there. We’ll check the vehicle and make sure cabin heat is handled properly. As for the booking not showing: third-party systems sometimes don’t sync in real time, even when you have confirmation. Calling us is the fastest way to verify, and we agree the Viator directions should be clearer — we’re updating them so nobody has to sprint around the pickup area.

I booked a 11:30 AM trip, but the ticket was active and not canceled. When I arrived at the airport, I discovered that the time listed on the ticket was incorrect. The shuttle was scheduled to leave at 11 AM instead of the posted time. The receptionist was not sympathetic and only responded by emailing me (while I was traveling for 8 hours via a plane in a different time zone) as if that was an acceptable form of communication. Booking a last-minute ride was an additional $200, and they refused to refund me. They claimed that it was Viator’s responsibility, not theirs, to correct the error on the website, even though the error was still present and I still had an active ticket.

Thanks for the review. We understand it’s frustrating — but we can’t run an airport shuttle based on whatever time a third-party website happened to display that day. Our shared shuttles leave on schedule. We don’t hold departures because one voucher shows a different time, because that means punishing everyone else who showed up correctly. As for communication: email isn’t perfect when you’re traveling, but third-party bookings require documented communication, and we can’t rewrite Viator’s voucher information at the counter.
