I highly recommend this excursion. Our tour guide Sherif Aisahlahi was amazing. You must have a face mask or a scarf. The people are very friendly. But if anyone offer you something along the tour make sure you u ask if there is a charge before excepting anything. I shave been to several countries and overall this was my favorite atv excursion. A big shout out to EMO for Sherif ❤️

The experience was ok my sons really enjoyed it. The atv ride in the actual desert was good but didn't last 30 mins. It was actual ride in the sand of about 10 mins which went really quick. The whole thing too a while by the time we drove to the site and practiced a bit driving through the village a bit to the sand. I was shocked to see dead carcases on the side of the road of a horse and a camel. That wasn't very nice. Thankfully I don't think my boys daw it as they were too busy having fun on the atv s.

The quad-bike experience itself was satisfactory, which is why I am giving three stars. However, the staff were notably unhelpful. We specifically requested to be dropped off at the **new pyramid entrance** to avoid the usual chaos at the Sphinx Gate. Instead, they attempted to leave us at the museum, and I had to insist that they take us to the location we had clearly requested. Despite this, we were ultimately dropped at the **old Sphinx Gate**. I was with my daughter, who is anaemic and very petite, and we were forced to push our way through a very crowded and disorganised entrance. At one point, a random individual even grabbed our tickets and told us to follow him, which made the situation extremely stressful. This was one of the worst entry experiences we have had, especially considering I had deliberately asked not to be taken to that gate due to its reputation. If you choose to use this company, I strongly recommend that you **request not to be assigned to Taha** and firmly insist on being dropped at the **new entrance** to avoid unnecessary chaos.

Great fun for the family. Two adults and 3 children 12,12&13. We booked the night before. Seemlessly confirmed via telephone the next morning. We were collected from our hotel on time and driven safely to Giza Pyramids. We had a great tour guide who accompanied us and took photos using my phone. He knew how to get the best photos and helped us a lot. Definitely recommend this. You get a good view of the pyramids - of course not right beside them like a walking tour. But the quad bike or ATV was a more cool option. Very enjoyable. Remember to buy your own scalfs before hand to protect your face from sand and sun. Otherwise you may get a shock extra purchase. Another fabulous trip was the new grand museum of Cairo. Cheap entry, payable on the door or book via this application. You get a great view - inside air conditioning - and can take lovely pictures. One of the most beautiful museums I have been to in the world.

I really cannot recommend this. We started off with the pick up car not starting (which I guess happen from time to time). They sent a new car and we ended up starting 20 mins late. We were then taken to get the ATVs and were taken on the trip with our guide. You first have to get through the horrible experience of driving through utter chaos of other people on horses, cars, ATVs and etc etc just to realise that the guide (who is sitting on top of your ATV on the handle bar) is planning to stay there for the entire trip. So you don't drive, he sits on your stearing wheel and drive (at a hellish speed). Then after about 15mins my partner offered to change ATVs with me as I was feeling quite uncomfortable with the situation, my ATV broke down in the desert. So it ended up being the 3 of us on one ATV. The guide then took us to a remote spot and asked for a cash tip, which we refused to give saying we don't have money with us. He then said we should once we get back go to the bathroom and give him the cash. I just think the whole experience was a total rip off.

Not good at all. I was nowhere near the pyramids or the sphinx. I got taken to the top of a sand dune and had to see the pyramids from a very far distance. My Camera couldn't even focus that far away. When I asked why I am not going to the pyramids, I was told we cannot get there. Feels like a tourist trap to me. It also wasn't anywhere near an hour long. It was 30 mins

Predatorial behavior by the tour guide

We did 2 rides with this booking (Cairo, Egypt). One was an ATV ride followed by a horse ride we booked through the same guide who picked us up for the ATV. The ATV ride was excellent with the kids who served as our guides and the ATV folks being excellent. The trip was ruined by the horse riding experience. We were a family of 11 with kids and adults. My 17-year old daughter was in the ride as well. The guide, who was the person who picked us from the airport, was the sole culprit, who harassed my daughter, and she was in tears at the end of the ride. He was managing her horse by the reins, and he kept pulling her horse to wards the back of the line away from the other members of the group, and asking her a lot of personal questions, and asking her to not tell her parents. She was very scared and intimidated by this whole things, and finally managed to signal to her 15-year old brother, who started riding with her. She was in tears in the van, and this is something we do not expect in a viator booking. This guy seems to be a predator, and should be banned from doing this to other kids who may not have been lucky. My daughter is traumatized by this and I wanted to flag this for you all to make sure this guys does not organize any more rides in the future. We confronted him and he admitted to his mistake and apologized, but I am concerned that such pedophiles never stop and should be therefore banned from organizing such rides. Regards,

It is an amazing experience although the way to the pyramids was a little rough the driving experience at the dessert was totally worth it. Had a fun time with friends they stop half way and take pictures of you from your phone and your allowed to take pictures of the scenery as well during the stop. The prices here are also good compared to other ATVS in Cairo as well.

Toosi and Gendi were the best guides! If I come back to Egypt I will choose them again and again! It was my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me comfortable and make my day special! He helped us with getting additional pictures and souvenirs that we wanted. And the driver, Ahmed was very nice as well.

Overall good experience. The tour guide was friendly. His English was decent. Ride there from the hotel was fine. The machines are in a terrible state of disrepair (no suspension and rattle like they are coming apart). The front bumper was actually zip tied on. Aside from that the ride in the desert was pretty neat. Great photo opportunities And the guide and the assistant will ensure you have a good time while in the desert they took some awesome photos of me with the pyramids as a backdrop. WARNING: be prepared to see the real Egypt on the ride out to the desert you will drive the ATV Through a ghetto area, full of trash, animal, feces, and see some very sad situations. This is a way of life here but for some it might be disturbing. Also bear in mind animals are treated much differently in Egypt than in other countries if you are sensitive to this, I would not recommend this tour, but if you have tough skin, want to thrill ride and some great photos, this is for you. You will get dusty and dirty as you should expect when driving an ATV in the desert bring clothes you don’t care if they get dirty and make sure you have sunglasses or goggles.

The entire trip was really amazing and the guys really made us feel very safe and welcome. The views to the pyramids was spectacular, even though it was a bit misty on our morning. My favourite part was the short drive through the town on the back roads to the dessert. It was an amazing look into real life Cairo/Giza. Horses, camels, tuktuk people all getting ready for the day ahead. Truly appreciated this part.

Overall we enjoyed the time we had riding in the desert but the experience fell short of expectations. We paid for an hour of riding in the desert around the pyramids with a guide. We did not expect that time would be lost due to broken down equipment and the being confined due to lack of enough vehicles. Our guides vehicle stopped within a few minutes of our journey and then my friend’s bike broke down. I would highly recommend purchasing new equipment if you plan to continue offering this experience. I have used viator many times and this is the first time the experience fell short of expectations.
