To save money you could use Uber however the service was excellent. The driver was always on time as we set it. He was very kind and dependable. Due to how smoothly everything went the ease was more priceless than what I could have saved using Uber.

As soon as I booked the tour, I started receiving WhatApp messages in the middle of the night. The person was asking me very persistently and in a very poor English to book more tours with the company, followed by weird stickers of sexy women by the pyramids. I was tempted to cancel but decided not to do so because of the good reviews. Then the night before the tour our guide messaged us wanting to change the departure time from 8 till 10h saying that if we start at 8h we will be done by 12h. After we sent a screenshot of the estimated tour time (6 to 8h) we finally agreed to start at 8:30h. The guides were late for pick up, saying they went to a wrong hotel first. When we were at the citadel we asked if we could use some of the time to walk around the park. First, we were told that it is closed, then after we showed them that it is open according to Google, they said that it will cost 50usd extra pp to add it to the tour. At the end of the tour, we also felt pressured to leave a good review. I wish we had done this tour ourselves cause Uber is extremely cheap in Cairo. It will cost you less than 10 euro to drive between all the sites (or as little as EUR 2,50 per person if you are with 4). It only takes a few minutes for your Uber to arrive, and it is much more flexible. You can start whenever you want, you can stay as much as you like, and you can add as many stops in between as your hearth desires for a fraction of the cost and without the pressure to book extra tours or leave a positive review.

On my last day in Cairo, I decided to visit the Egyptian museum with a knowledgeable guide. I booked this tour and met my guide Ehab and the driver Ahmed in front of the hotel. Ehab was very well-informed about the artifacts at the museum, as well as the Egyptian history and archeological discoveries. I was trilled to see the archeologists at work in the museum, repairing and cleaning the ancient tombs and artifacts, alongside the visitors. Afterward we visited the Christian Coptic neighborhood which was a gem by itself. We also passed by various muslim establishments and historical sites in Cairo. I highly recommend having a guide to visit the Egyptian museum to optimize your time!

In the course of a day you will step back in time and explore thousands of years of ancient Egyptian history. Have your camera ready and prepare to be fascinated by all the stories you'll hear and the jaw-dropping artifacts you will see up close. Ehab was my guide for the day, and he was incredible. As soon as he picked me up he said, " I want you to have exactly the tour you want..today is all about you." And it felt like it. Ehab made sure I was comfortable throughout the day with his patience and care. As a guide, Ehab made ancient Egyptian civilization come alive through his words and stories. This was exactly the afternoon I'd hoped for. Highly recommended.

El guia y el conductor no conocían el recorrido de la excursión, a ellos les habian dicho que no entraba el recorrido de Khan el Kalili, después de discutir aceptaron llevarnos. Tampoco tenian claro la hora del almuerzo (que no estaba incluido). escribo esto para llegar a los cien caracteres

me contactaron y les dije que si con mucho gusto puedes hacerle al mercado, al final no fuiste como tu dijiste que tu hijo esta cansado, entonces no veo por qué es quejarse y desastre como mencionas, para el almuerzo no incluir, te aconsejaron que te gustaría comer y dijiste que no queremos comer en el hotel, así que nadie te presionó, muy extraño
