Meeting our assistant in the airport was great, he had a sign with our name on it, helped get us through the airport claims, baggage, & customs in record time. Help with our luggage the entire time, all the way out to meet our driver. The driver loaded our luggage and proceeded to our hotel with no hassles. Our drive was much more relaxing not having to worry about the drive, directions, or if we were going to have to pay to much. I would recommend for those that like to have a plan!

Our Guide Made Our Arrival to Cairo an Easy Experience!

After traveling 16 hours from San Diego to Cairo and landing at 4:30am, we don’t know how we would have managed navigating our arrival without our Viator guide. Sorry I can’t remember his name - hoping Viator can fill in that blank. He was waiting for us when we got off the plane and greeted us warmly. First thing, he took us to get our VISAs - very easy, with his help. He contacted our hotel asking if they could accommodate us ASAP. Otherwise, we’d have to wait until our room was ready at 3:00! He efficiently collected our bags and introduced us to our driver and we were on our way! Excellent service and a very wise choice to hire a local for this service!

Egypt Airlines would not allow us to board our flight for the third day in a row even with valid passports and visa. They are corrupt and were only looking to make money on re booking fees and the loss of two days worth of business class ticket. We will never return. We will tell everyone we know of the corruption of Egypt Air and the government ..

I had a tight schedule - a meeting that I was to attend begun at the time that I was scheduled to land at the airport. Surely, I could not make it to a full meeting, I wanted to minimize the damage. The meet and greet service (facilitating the airport arrivals procedures) and a private transfer in a comfortable car with a guide and a driver made it possible to be at the hotel (identical to the meeting venue) in a reasonable time. It really minimized the stress caused by my schedule.

The provider met me just beyond the gate and walked me through the Visa process, going through customs, getting luggage, finding a working ATM, finding a bathroom, and going with the driver to the hotel. I paid a bit more for the complete service but it was well worth the extra money since I was a single, senior female traveling alone and arriving late at night. This was the most helpful and friendly service when we arrived at the Cairo airport. It was midnight, we had been flying many hours. Ibrahiin was right there waiting for us and helped us through the Visa process, Customs, and assisted with our luggage. We then met our driver, Mohammad, who along with Ibrahiin got us to our hotel. I used them to pick up my in laws. Their flight was delayed 2hrs. The rep wasn’t at the designated pickup spot before passport control but was still able to find them. They said the service was courteous and they were helped all the way through customs and given a nice ride home. They said their three suitcases barely fit into the sedan so if u have lots of luggage let them know in the special request section. They are a wonderful company and I definitely recommend them.

We weren't sure how easy it would be get transportation from the Cairo airport to our hotel in Giza. So to make it easy for ourselves, we booked a round trip with Viator and ended up with Sinai Travel. We weren't sure if we needed to confirm our booking but by the time we arrive in Cairo, we didn't even get a chance. But as we deplaned and started walking towards passport check area, we saw a guy holding a sign with our names! We thought he was our driver, but turned out to be our airport greeter. Mohammed helped us navigate through the airport - getting us out in record time. And guided us to the car with the driver. He gave us helpful tips - what to expect, what we might want to do and where to go eat near our hotel. Not only that, when we had questions about what we should do in the evenings, he helped us book a night tour of Cairo and a dinner cruise on the Nile! Overall, we had a great time with him on the night tour and really enjoyed hanging out with him. Mohammed is super friendly and honestly, felt like a friend by the end of the night. We are so glad we booked the airport transfer but found Mohammed who gave us two really fun experiences.

Upon our arrival, we were met by a very pleasant English speaking guide who facilitated our smooth processing through customs, obtaining our visas, etc. After exiting the terminal we were met by our private transport and were introduced to the wild traffic of Cairo on our way to our hotel. If you book this through Viator, request that the local tour operator is South Sinai Travel. Then request, actually, DEMAND that Akram Hassan be the one who meets you at the airport. As a woman in my mid seventies traveling alone I was quite nervous when I arrived in Cairo. Akram was so patient and so attentive and so accommodating. He calmed me down. Got my visa for me. Took care of the luggage and customs. Helped me register at the hotel. Pointed out various things about the hotel that I would be using during my stay there currency exchange, business center, etc.. He has the perfect personality for the job that he has.
