After making your own way to the wine shop, located in the historic El Born district on Carrer del Canvis Nous, meet your sommelier host and head into the tasting area.
Following an overview of Catalonia’s winemaking history, sample five wine varietals. Under the guidance of the sommelier, educate your palate to recognize the subtle differences in each varietal by adopting basic wine tasting techniques.
To accompany the wines, a spread of local produce, including olive oil, fresh bread, and cheese, is served. All of the wine and food samples can be purchased in the store following your tasting session—great souvenirs for friends and family back home.

Omar was amazing, good humored, and so knowledgeable. We had the best time learning about the wine we were drinking, and how to pair those wines. We received full glasses of five different wines. It was incredible. Equally great was the company. We loved making new friends during the experience. Overall, 10/10.

Vivian was a great host and very knowledgeable on wines of Spain. An added treat was her cheese pairings. Also her restaurant recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed both of them on consecutive nights. I would highly recommend this wine paring.
The wines were presented well from dry to robust and our guide being from chicago had a personal connection to husbands home town-Chicago. Robert was ver knowledgeable of the Spanish wines and the interactions with the other patrons made an enjoyable event!
The experience was amazing. Robert was great and very informative. It was a lot of fun especially as we started drinking the wine. Highly recommend!!!

I really enjoyed this wine tasting and was just fine as a solo traveler, though I was the only one solo with 2 other couples when I attended.
The sommelier was very knowledgeable about Spanish wines and the regions and grapes and instructed everyone in proper wine tasting etiquette and identifying aromas and flavors before offering larger pours for our favorite wines.
The group became more chatty as the tasting progressed (as is typical haha) and I left tipsy and happy strolling my way through the beautiful gothic quarter to my dinner destination.
We had a lovely time at the wine tasting and our host was very informative and friendly. Made us feel relaxed and welcome. We tried a variety of wines while learning about them and had some nice snacks to go along with it too. We also loved getting to know the other people in our group. Would really recommend!
Wine tasting experience was excellent and learned numerous things about the wines of Spain and in general along with tasting the delicious samples

Robert did a fantastic job explaining where each of the wines was from, as well as what kind of grapes and how much fermentation was involved. Nice variety of both white and red wines .... enjoyed all of them, as well as the conversation amongst different groups attending the tasing. would highly reccomend!
I had a great time with this tasting! The guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines and wine regions. The wines were all fantastic. I recommend the cheese pairing!
The itinerary does not include details about how much walking is involved to get to the event. Our party had folks physically unable to walk that distance and therefore missed the excursion.

Thank you for your review, we are located in the historical center of Barcelona and the closest metro is 300 meters away. Alternatively a taxi can stop about 150 meters away. The main tasting room is on a ground floor, so no steps required. We hope you can join us on your next visit to Barcelona.
My husband, daughter and I enjoyed this wine and chesse tasting/pairing while in Barcelona. Robert was very knowledgeable and a pleasure. Would recommend to anyone who visit the area.

Wow! This was a wonderful experience. We were taught about wine production based each of the 5 wines we tried from the many regions of Spain. We selected the package with the 5 regional cheeses and learned how each wine paired with each cheese. The experience was affordable, and with a group of a maximum of 10, it felt like a private experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Fabulous tasting experience with all the good parts - bit of history and culture/ learning about wine production and regional information, wine tasting and cheese. Highly recommend. Met some lovely people ! Everyone was very chatty after the first hour !

Very good experience - sampled 5 good quality wines from different regions and thorough explanations of Spanish wines. Private room was offered to us given a larger group.
Enjoyable experience. 8 people, groups of 2, who were very friendly. Initially the wines individually were okay however when the cheese selection came out and we paired it with the wine, the wines came to life!!! Overall a great experience, the host was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive.

Enjoyable experience. The location didn’t pop up when I used Apple Maps but it was perfect when I used Google maps. The sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 experience.

Well located place
The evening was great! Augustina explained the wines in detail and answered all of our questions. The pairing of the wines with the snacks were very interesting as many people had different favorite combinations. I highly recommend the event.
