Easy ride from Barcelona. Car was spacious and comfortable. James explained everything about Montserrat and arranged for tickets for us to see the Madonna. The site is beautiful and definitely well worth the trip. Overall, it was a pricey experience to have a driver otherwise would have given it a 5.

Our driver was excellent and attentive. i wish we were guided around monastery to get a better feel and more details about history of building and area. Driver picked us up on time. We had to add extra hour to our trip to cover ride up to the top and black madonna visit

Thanks for to be whit us , but we are not officials guides , we explain everything you need to know on the way to the monastery ,and during the three stops we do before, the clients in general like to have this two hours independent , but thanks for your points

Our family had a wonderful time in Barcelona and during our half day tour of Monserrat. James was EXCELLENT! He picked us up at our hotel, stopped at a few places along the way so that we could take photos and told us a little history about the areas. In Monserrat, James explained to us where to go, made sure we had tickets to see the Black Madonna and helped us have an idea of how much time we needed. When we were ready to head back to Barcelona he had cold waters for us and even dropped us off at a McDonald's in the city (our teenagers' request) so they could check out the menu! He followed up with a text later that afternoon to make sure we were doing well and made it back to the hotel. We highly recommend James and are so thankful to him for helping us make some wonderful memories during the few days we spent in Spain!

Memorable day at Monserrat

The tour to Monserrat was one of our favorite days of our trip. James was a great tour guide and was very ready to communicate with leading up to and during our trip. He drove us to Monserrat providing us interesting info on our drive about Monserrat and Barcelona. Our trip included children and grandparents and he navigated our needs with compassion. After a morning of hiking and touring the monastery, we added on extra time to stop of lunch. It was the best decision! It ended up being our favorite meal of our entire trip! Amazing!! Would definitely recommend this to trip!

"Private Half Day Tour in Monserrat with Driver" was a wonderful experience. James is an excellent tour guide, professional, courteous, with a wealth of knowledge on the history of Barcelona and Montserrat. He thoughtfully asked us what we wanted to get out of our tour, and made sure we were satisfied. We heard the famous Boy Choir (L'Escolania) and the Black Madonna - and the views! Wow! Only regret is we didn't have more time when in Barcelona, or we would have made this a longer tour, to explore more & hike around Montserrat. Highly recommend!
