Difficult Panoramic View of Barcelona

Their driver was 30 minutes late. The guide could not speak English well, very difficult to understand. The guide was very nice, wished to please, but we had a difficult time understanding her.

Thank you for your time to send this review. The driver arrived just 8 min late due to a traffic incident and we apologise for that. About our guides, they are experienced guides in English. They always accommodate our guests to enjoy the tour, and they are very informative. The conversation between the guide and the customer was fluid all time, face to face, in order to make them feel comfortable and understandable. They didn't seem disappointed at all, they never asked to repeat any information, and the guide is afraid of not having the same feelings about the tour. They even tipped her at the end of the tour! We are sorry it was not what you expected.

Park Guell

Very disappointing. I flew halfway around the world to see Park Guell and purchased 3 tickets for$135.48 for 3:00. I paid $923.48 for a four our private tour of Barcelona and the Park Guell. Our tour guide got us there 10 minutes late and we were never able to go in the park. Very disappointing. Also our tour guide was supposed to pick us up at 1:00 &We didn’t see him till 1:40 for a 4 hour tour. He was very embarrassed that he didn’t get us there on time and said we could see everything from the outside of the park, which was not true. Then he tried to drop us off at 5:30 to shorten our trip. Would not use this service again. It’s also very hard to contact anybody so I can tell them about my concerns. I would like to get refunded for my $923.82 But at the minimum I’d like to get refunded for my $135.48.which I spent on the tickets for the park which I never got to see. One unhappy customer.

Dear Customers, I am sorry to read your comments. Our clients are happy about our flexibility and help in managing the tour bookings and even more so for the services offered. As I told you our tours do not include tickets and as far as possible we try to get them if you request it but 4 days before it is complicated. You bought the Park Güell tickets with another supplier. NOT with us and you did not inform us at what time you had tickets. You also requested to change the schedule of the tour 48 hours before to finish earlier. We confirmed that we would adapt your needs but, on the same day, you informed us that you wanted to cancel the tour, and you were going to cancel it because of the tickets and since we do not have it they do not want the tour... A few hours later I texted you because we had not received the cancellation and until 2 hours before you did not inform me that you decided to do it and that you will be waiting at 1pm. We did our best to start at 1.30pm and you did the 4h tour. I am sorry you have not been satisfied. We would have appreciated better information and not confused with your tour cancellation messages. Regards

A private tour is the way to go. You choose what you want to do and the guide and driver are there to make your personalized tour enjoyable. Tickets yo sightseeing spots can be purchased by your tour company prior to the private tour.We had an issue with getting a sightseeing pre-paid ticket through the tour company but eventually it was worked out. Just be sure to let Viator know the sights you want to see and understand the pre-pay ticket process. Our guide Christina was very informative with a great sense of humor. I wish we had done a full day tour but it would have been more than we wanted to spend. I highly recommend using Viator for a private tour. This is the 2nd time we booked this tour (once in Paris and once in Barcelona ). Both experiences were well worth the private tour cost!

Awesome tour of the highlights in Barcelona. We did not expect a driver AND a guide on this tour. Christian drove us in a Mercedes while Tina taught us the history and legends of the area. We made many stops to view landmarks up close and were able to take pictures. We enjoyed her expertise and recommendations of what to do the next day on our own. Together Tina and Christian made a great team! It is a beautiful city with friendly people, amazing architecture and delicious food. We highly recommend this tour for an overview of Barcelona.

Wonderful organization and guidance! We were so lucky to have Iona as our guide. She was super knowledgeable about the places and very approachable. The van driver was also kind and chic. The car was super clean. We enjoyed every second of our tour. Olga was super helpful with the organization detals (I.e. tickets, itinerary, etc.) as well as accessible all the time.

Cristina was wonderful! Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and valuable guide. Excellent driver who took us around. We didn’t get to go into Sagrada Familia bc those tickets weren’t included and took a number of messages back and forth w Olga to get tickets for Parc Guell, so be proactive w operator avout what tickets you should book. Still worth it!
