Wendy and Eric were awesome!!!! They guided us through shaping and making the tile with clay, and was very informative. It was an awesome experience with a relaxing environment. This may have been my favorite activity of my trip.

The hosts (Eric and Wendy) did a fantastic job! They started with a short background before we started, then guided us during the experience. They had a lot of suggestions if asked and many examples to get the creative juices flowing.
We had a family of five, with the children between the ages of 18 to 22. My kids loved it, I'm also sure they would have if they were younger too.
We decorated two tiles each. Eric will ship them to us when they are done (we pay the shipping).
I would recommend this to other people to try a well.

Really fun and interactive experience. You will get your hands dirty (aprons provided) and be able to create two of your own masterpieces with initial education on different techniques. It was my first time doing a class like this and I really enjoyed making my pieces and how they came out. Eric and Wendy are very sweet and helpful attending to our needs throughout the session and sometimes before we even realized we needed something. They also have great recommendations for places to eat, etc. Also, had to ship 6 pieces (mine and friends) back to the USA since we were leaving before they’d be ready and shipping costs were less than I expected and they provided a full breakdown of the costs. Highly recommend. Thank you Eric and Wendy!

Yes, yes, yes, this was a great experience for the entire family! The guides did a wonderful job of showing multiple options and allowed everyone the freedom to create their own unique tiles. Ceramic tiles are a multi day process that they handle for you after you create your masterpiece. Shipping is available. Learned something and that helped recognize how tiles are part of the built environment all around Barcelona. The instructors were very nice and made sure everyone had plenty of water to drink. Have your creative juices flowing to create your tiles and have something to share when telling all your friends about the fantastic experience.

It’s a wonderful experience. Couple who run it were very helpful with the participants. I had zero experience but made two tiles I like. Two relaxing creative hours. Was good for the brain to do something different They will ship to you if you’re not going to be around when it’s ready in about 12 days. Workshop was in English and Spanish. They told us about great local food nearby.

My two kids (11 and 14) and I had the most wonderful time decorating and painting ceramic tiles! Wendy and Kevin were most helpful and kind. The added bonus - each of us keeps one tile and the other will be contributed to a neighborhood mural. We will definitely be back - such a fun thing to do!

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews but I should. Anyhow, this one deserves it. Three of us took this ceramic class and it was a fantastic experience. Learned a lot, had a great time while at it and the hosts Wendy and Eric are not just extremely knowable but they were very patient with us, new ones to the trade, and are also a ton of fun. We created tiles, we laughed, we had a blast! I highly recommend you take a class while visiting Barcelona. They're also working on an ambitious project, which I don't know if I can talk about it yet, but glad we're part of it and we'll be for a long time.

No tengo por costumbre dejar reseñas, pero debería hacerlo. De todas formas, esta se lo merece. Tres de nosotros tomamos esta clase de cerámica y fue una experiencia fantástica. Aprendimos mucho, nos lo pasamos muy bien y los anfitriones, Wendy y Eric, no sólo son muy conocedores, sino que fueron muy pacientes con nosotros, nuevos en el oficio, y también muy divertidos. Creamos azulejos, nos reímos, ¡lo pasamos genial! Recomiendo altamente tomar una clase durante su visita a Barcelona. También están trabajando en un ambicioso proyecto, del que no sé si puedo hablar todavía, pero me alegro de que seamos parte de él y lo seremos durante mucho tiempo.

The hosts were very friendly, inclusive to both English and Spanish speakers throughout the entire experience. There was lots of opportunity to try out new techniques on the tiles as throughout the experience Wendy was demonstrating many options to each person to effect their vision.

The tile making shop and studio is so cute and aestetically pleasing. I like that Wendy and Eric were amazing host. Extremely knowledgeable and warm and friendly. This was one of the best traveling experiences I've had on any vacation in my entire life. The tile making process is wonderful and a great calm event to do as a couple, family, or with friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Wendy and Eric were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this workshop, they are located in a beautiful neighbourhood that is walking distance from central Barcelona, so they are super easy to get to. The experience itself is really interesting and you are immediately made to feel welcome and comfortable. I can’t wait to get my tile in the post 😃

We wanted a different experience in Barcelona and something for a family. We thoroughly enjoyed the ceramic experience with Wendy and Eric. They were very friendly and encouraging of our attempts at decorating tiles.
We’ll worth doing this and having a keepsake which we are having shipped to us once it’s been fired in the kiln.
It’s something you can do as a family, group of friends or couples!
