FANTASTIC experience - unique & such fun

This has been our favourite tour of our entire 6 week trip in Europe. The experience was SO UNIQUE, the format is easy to follow, and the venue is gorgeous. Our host, Marcel, was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he was really helpful when we were stuck - but pushed us to really think about the wine. He also gave us hints on how to succeed at the game, making it accessible without dumbing it down for those less knowledgeable about wine. One group arrived quite late whilst the game was underway, yet he accommodated them gracefully. We absolutely loved it - so much so that we want to go again when we return to Barcelona this week! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very interactive wine "tasting" that is fun and educational. You get to try 6 wines with some tapas. You have to try to guess which varietal, country and year it's from. Lots of fun!

This takes blind wine tasting to a delightfully fun and ultimately enlightening new level. How does this work? You are asked to provide your opinion on the varietal, the country of origin, and the vintage of each wine tasted. You show your conviction by the size of your bets from none up to your total stake (which is provided when you begin). The host gives various clues, some more cryptic than others. You have a descriptive card that also helps to guide your wagers. All are competing to take home a unique wine. Our group had a blast. I highly recommend this for a fun evening of wine drinking and some surprising insights.
