Weather was bad but tour was great. Although we have done many wine tours this was our first visit to behind the scenes at a winery. Very interesting. Great local knowledge and history from our driver.

Delightful knowledgeable guide. This winery is such an impressive operation. I enjoyed seeing the process and, obviously, I found the tasting at the end excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

Despite the rainy weather, John our tour guide provided an enjoyable, informative, introduction to the wine industry in New Zealand. Our visit included the scenic spots listed in the tour description, a guided tour of the Villa Maria Winery and personalized wine tasting. The tour was an excellent value and educational.

The half-day tour was outstanding! Our tour guide, John, was exceptionally knowlegable about Auckland and wine which made for an enlightening and enjoyable tour of a couple of historic and scenic areas of the city and of the Villa Maria winery, which was an excellent experience, both the tour of the production area and the wine tastings. It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Auckland.

John was awesome, he was so friendly and accommodating. He made our trip to Villa maria winery memorable and fun! John was full of interesting facts and information and even took us on a bonus tour around Auckland to see some other areas we hadn't yet gotten to on our trip! I would highly recommend any tour which has John leading the way!
