Rangers run 90-minute guided nature walks every morning, which should be booked in advance.

  • Ferry passengers are met by the island ranger and given a briefing before they can tour the island.
  • A few holiday cottages are available on the island.
  • Dogs (and other domestic animals), as well as bicycles, are prohibited from the island.
  • There’s nowhere to buy food on the island. To meet the strict biosecurity measures, all food brought with you should be in sealed containers and checked for ants and other contaminants.
