A fantastic experience! Guide/Diver, Dimitrius was passionate abut his work. He was professional, kind, and patient when orienting me to the gear. As an expert in local history he shared interesting information about Athens as we traveled to off shore dive sites. The trip was relaxing and a wonderful way to enjoy the sea. We snorkeled in diverse areas exploring both beaches and island caverns.

The guide was good in pointing out sea life but expectations weren’t set properly from the start. The vessel itself, the skill and ability level expected of the guests (all ages from 9 to 78) weren’t accounted for from the start. Happy to have been able to go snorkeling bit expected the experience to be less rigorous and more flexible for the ages and abilities of the party.

I recommend to everyone. Amazing experience. The instructor was very friendly. Diving in small groups allows for excellent contact with the instructor, we had the opportunity to see a truly beautiful underwater world.

Dimitrios was really friendly. I had a few questions ahead of time and contacted him through the booking site. He got back to me really quickly. They provided wet suits, fins, masks, etc. plus life jackets and noodle floaties for the kids and some snacks/water/tea. Make sure to bring your own towels, though, and it’s helpful to have dry clothes to throw on over your suits afterward. We took the boat to two different spots, one rocky area with anemones and fish, etc. then out to a little beach with shallow water and little seagrass beds. We went in mid April and the water was a bit chilly (there was a lot of wind that day, too). Even though the wet suits made it perfectly comfortable for the adults, the four kids with us (ages 7-12) were freezing after a few minutes in the water. Our two boys (ages 7 and 9) flat out refused to do the first part, because they were so cold (and a little afraid/unused to the snorkel masks, etc.). However, they did get into the water and swim to the beach to play at the second stop while us adults snorkeled just off-shore. The water was lovely there—shallow and much warmer. Not a ton of sea life to see at the second spot unless you’re really looking, but it was still a fun, relaxing time. I think we stayed at that second spot for almost an hour. In spite of the rocky start for the kids, they had a blast at the last half and didn’t want to leave, after all. So, I would caution folks who are thinking of doing this with kids that haven’t done it before. Just be prepared for some resistance, unless you’ve got super adventurous kids. Still worth it though and one of the most memorable parts of our trip.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and hospitable and the experience was one of a kind. The scenery was breathtaking as was the cold water but the sea life made up for the cold.

It is our policy not to refund last minute cancellations unless there is a serious reason (illness, cancelled flights) and this is stated clearly when one makes a booking. This happens because all our activities have expenses which we have to cover once a booking is made. In your case we replied to all of your questions about the activity and sent you several emails in which we offered help. We are really sorry you feel disappointed but if you had joined our activity you could understand why we cannot accept last minute cancellations.

Dimitri was such an amazing guide. The welcome was what looked like his home and he made us feel very at home. He had personal equipment for everyone and had snacks that were crucial after the snorkeling. He took us to an isolated island that was calm and allowed us such a cool view of the water and the wildlife underneath. He was very knowledgeable of the ecosystem and pointed out various creatures on our journey. At the end of the trip you finish near a beach town and he made a great restaurant recommendation that was fresh fish where the locals eat. This is a great deal especially for how affordable it is

Me and my girlfriend had a superb afternoon snorkelling in Marathon bay. Dimitri’s knowledge around the sea life was great and the afternoon was genuinely one of our favourite in our time in Greece. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to experience some beginner snorkelling.

I've done a few snorkeling experiences in the past in other countries and I have to say this was by far the best one because of our guide Dimitris. He led the small group and showed us the sea life he finds in the water. He brought a camera with him which he uses to captures all the moments of us snorkeling and then sends them to us after the trip. He provides us with a wetsuit, snorkeling mask, and flippers. If you are a weak swimmer and being in the ocean scares you, don't be -- you can use a noodle and the water is actually really shallow.

Bit tricky to get to as we were staying in Athens not Nea Makri but we had a great day out Snorkelling was better than I had expected and our instructor was so friendly. We anchored the boat in two spots and went at our own pace Nea Makri is a great town for lunch too!

Fantastic guide, very sweet and very helpful. Besides the great trip, we were driven to our bus stop as not to miss the bus to Athens. All in all memorable experience and highly recommended. The area is all beach and restaurants so more to do after the snorkel!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke English very well. He showed us all over some beautiful places in the sea. We saw many fish, starfish, sea life and even an octopus! It was a great experience.

OUTSTANDING!!! My wife and I had a lot of fun on this adventure. The guide was attentive, knowledgeable and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. He took some awesome underwater photos of us and even helped us negotiate a discount on a taxi ride back to Athens. He definitely went above and beyond our expectations and we'll be going on this excursion again next time we are in Greece. We highly recommend.

A faire sans hesitation. Dimitri vous emmene dans la baie de marathon a bod d un zodiac. Pas plus de sept sur le zodiac nous etions 5 cool. Prevoir deux heures dans l eau avec masques tuba et palmes. Nous n avons pas vu beaucoup de poissons mais calamar anemone etc avec toujours les explications de dimitri. Ensuite on remonte a bord du zodiac pour la farniente dans la baie de schinias absolument splendide... Tout etait prevu jus de fruit biscuit et cerises a bord...

Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Dimitris, we kregen passende snorkels en wetsuits en een volledige uitleg. Na een half uurtje op de speedboot gingen we voor anker en hebben ruim een uur gesnorkeld. Dimitris wees ons op ondere andere; sponzen, anemonen, verschillende vissen en gaf daarbij uitleg. Daarna zijn we naar een zandstrand gevaren en hebben daar nog een poos gezwommen en gerelaxed. Het restaurantje naast de bootopslag heeft een heerlijke lokale kaart en een fantastisch uitzicht op het water. Wat ons betreft een superleuke dag!
