A little disappointed, overall a good tour

The tour just wasn’t what we expected. The transportation vehicle was fantastic. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The tour group was a little larger than we expected. It was difficult to have a conversation with the guide. The lunch was excellent. I would recommend this to a friend but with reservations.

Mainly a drop off

Okay, we arrived early to the meeting point, the guy arrived early, in office clothes, which seemed unusual since to its a long day tour, and you need to be as comfortable as possible, anyways we got to the van the tour guide seemed nice, but we arrived at the first stop, and he just drop us off gave our tickets and bye , and he didn't go up to guide us to the place , we went up there and we were kind of lost at Acropolis , up there I saw tour guides explaining the history of the sites which is what I expected, but this "tour" i wouldn't call it a tour its mainly a drop off of the sites and then you have you figure out and imagine the history of the arquological site you are looking up, but dont get me wrong if you are looking for just a drop off to the sites you want to visit , this tour is for you. In my case this is not what I expected and its not a tour in my opinion ande very expensive. I wouldn't do it again.

Best tour for one day in Athens

This is the way to see Athens. The driver was so knowledgeable & personable with a great sense of humor! He had our tickets so we skipped long lines at the Acropolis and the Agora. He got us right up to the palace with the changing of the guard, Marathon stadium, and several lookouts with magnificent views. You won’t regret this experience!

Best way to see Athens!

I really enjoyed my private tour of Athens with Vasilis. He was very proud of his city and it's history and sights. He provided excellent commentary between attractions and answered all my questions about Athens and Greece. Though he didn't join me at each of the attractions he told me what to expect and the self-guiding information plaques were very helpful. He knew just when and where to go to beat all the tourist hordes. He also chose an excellent and delicious authentic Greek restaurant for lunch. I really enjoyed my day tour of Athens and look forward to coming back to see more of Greece in the future.

Traveling alone in Athens the option of the small group was excellent choice. Tickets are not included i knew that (The skip the line service was perfect) the Bus was comfortable and the driver very friendly and knowledgeable.
